Walking closer to Aatos Bushi reached up, taking Shura from the grasp of the kinfa and said, "Thank you, Profit. I am not sure what we would do without you." With that he set his his daughter back down on the cloth roll, "No jumping about. If you get hurt we are going to have to pay for a healer instead of getting earrings or visiting zanteer pups." Not something that he even wanted to think about. He wanted his baby to remain safe and without injury after all.
Patting her on the head he said, "Sit still and stay safe." He told her, continuing the walk once more, and after a time they were coming up to a small stand that seemed to be starting to pack up at the moment, "Wait here." With that Bushi went over to talk with the two ladies in charge of the booth, both of whom had multiple piercings all over their bodies. While he would rather Shura didn't get any more ideas for them he knew that they were the best ones to talk to about this sort of thing.
After a short talk with them that ended with 'one set of earrings and nothing more' he went to fetch his daughter.

Shura was reading her book up to the point where they got to the small shop that was run by ladies with all manner of piercings. It was enough to draw her full attention away from the book and onto them, her red eyes going quite wide at the sight before her. As she starred her father spoke with them before coming to get her and she was quick to go with him, eyes on the women.
After her father was done talking to them the two came over to her to talk to her next. They told her exactly what they would be doing, showed her the tools they would be using, and otherwise did what would be needed to prepare her for what was ahead. They were kind and reassuring even as they set about the task that was piercing her ears.
It was something that drew a bit of a squeak from her both times her ears were pierced, as well as a few tears, but she knew that she had to be strong! If she cried too much then it would make her father sad! That was the last thing that she wanted since he already seemed to be worried about her. She gave a bit of a smile, lifting a hand to scrub at her eyes, and said, "I'm fine, I'm fine! Nothing at all to worry about! But... but no telling Dovi I cried a little! He can't know!" If he knew that she'd cried he might not feel as confident in her and she wouldn't allow that!

Bushi gave a bit of a chuckle, patting Shura on the head again, "Alright, alright... I won't tell Dovian that you shed a few tears. We also won't tell your mother. It's bad enough that I had to see you looking so hurt." He didn't like the idea of his daughter hurting for even a moment but she seemed to bounce back from it a lot easier then he'd expected. She really was tough, wasn't she?
Something that put a bit of a smile on his face before he turned back to the women. Being a proud father was going to have to wait since he would need to pay them for their services and for the earrings that Shura would be taking home with her. He was instantly discussing prices, looking over earrings that Shura might like, and trying to figure out the best thing for someone her age to be wearing.

As he spoke with one of the two women the other one walked over to Shura, lifting a hand to give each of her ears a little tap. It would heal the new holes enough so that they wouldn't hurt any longer but not so much that it would cause them to close. It was a very basic, honed healing technique that she'd perfected over a lot of time at her work.
"Add that in to his tab, Sis!" She called out, giving Shura a little wink.
Shura lifted her hands to let them hover over her ears before she gave a squeal of delight, "They don't even hurt anymore! That is so cool! Daddy! I should get more piercings since we are here and they can make it so that it doesn't hurt after!" Something that had the women laughing while Bushi started shaking his head rapidly at her.

"There we will be no more piercings today, Shura. We are going to look at Zanteer pups, remember?" Words that he hoped would distract his daughter far, far from the idea of getting more piercings from the women. That was the last thing he had hoped would happen and it had... meaning that he had to give a good reason so that they could bail.
Money was handed over to the women and the package containing various earrings for Shura was given over to the little girl, "Read your book while we go find zanteer pups, Shura." He told his daughter, waving to the women before he moved to retreat, wanting to get Shura away from them before she started to figure out new, strange places to get pierced that weren't just her ears. She was far, far, FAR too young for more then half the piercings the women were wearing after all!

Shura nodded her head rapidly, instantly forgetting about the idea of getting anymore piercings. While they looked pretty on the women who had done her ears she wanted nothing more at this very moment then to see the baby water kitties. As such she'd given up on the idea of more piercings and instead turn her full attention to where they were heading next.
"Yes! Let's go see the baby water kitties!" She said, clapping her hands before she set to opening the book up once more, going back to the page she'd been on. She had to look like she was studying hard, which she was, so that he would seriously consider her pleadings for a water kitty of her own! She wanted one very much but she knew that it was going to take a lot of doing to actually get one of them. Not to mention it was going to take a lot of work on her part. Here was to hoping though!

Sighing in relief Bushi lifted a hand, waving to the two women who were happily counting the money that they had made from Bushi and his daughter. It seemed that they hadn't been expecting a big purchase at the end of the day and were now celebrating it.
Turning back to his daughter her watched her as she went back to her book. He couldn't help but laugh since she had such a serious look on her face. She really did want that zanteer pup, didn't she? Well, it wouldn't be happening today but they could at least go and see them, right? Giving a smile he moved to lead the way toward where he knew a merchant that sold beasts was located. If anyone was going to have the pups if would be him. Here was to hoping that he was around or else Shura was going to be quite disappointed in him.
Much to his delight and utter relief it seemed that the man's shop was still open and he had a couple of the pups to look at. The next hour or so was spent with his daughter playing with them while Bushi asked a ton of questions of the merchant. While they weren't getting a pup today but he at least wanted all the information possible since they were here anyway. Not to mention that Shura was having fun playing, so he didn't minding staying just a bit longer.
