So she was a traveler, and she had been from the sea. Liio contained his excitement for but a moment until she began to grin, and he quickly rubbed his nose in order to hide his own smile at such a discovery.
"I am going north to Zena with my family...well I don't know about Tynn..." He added as an afterthought. The girl seemed to have gone missing, and while Liio was worried for a moment, his parents didn't seem to mind too much, "I'm going to see the white mountains where my mother is from, and we are going to see her parents."
Sure, he didn't need to share his story, but it seemed like she didn't think too much of the cold, so he wasn't very worried.

He seemed curious, and Ondine contemplated telling him one of the stories. She could tell him about how she fought with Tynn, watching as the girl wailed on the stupid boys of the Tale village. Glancing down at the young boy, she figured it probably wasn't smart.
"Ah see no need to travel there...would rather head south to the sand than north to the snow." she responded, "Ye northerners are too cold blooded for my taste... I was born off the sea, afterall..."

"The sea?" He knew about it, but had never seen it. He only knew the tall grass and glowing trees of Tale and Jauhar. And even then, his world was so limited, all he heard about was stories. Stories from travelers, stories from his parents, stories from those who passed through. He did want to see the sea, sometime some day. But first, he had to see the snow.
"You are half Matori, right?" He speculated slowly, looking directly at her speckled face and eyes.

"Yer a sharp one, aren't ya?" She asked with a smirk, before glancing over to see her father wrapping things up. Glancing back to the kid, she let out a huff, "Run along, kid, shows over..." She stretched her lean arms above her head as a gruff voice called out.
"See the world kid while you still can...and tell Tynn that Ondine sends her love." Winking at the kid, she walked back into the crowd toward her impatient father, rolling her eyes as he seemed to question what she was saying to the impressionable youth. Not that it mattered, anyway. He would forget about it soon enough, and she most likely would too unless she ran into Tynn in the future.

Liio watched as she moved away, narrowing his eyes but not saying anything as she walked into the crowd and toward the group of merchants. Sniffing again, he shrugged a bit. If that really was Tynn's friend, he would know the next time he saw her. Naturally, he would bring it up when his sister returned from wherever she was. But for now, he needed to find his other sister, Elna, and tell her what he saw. She'd be excited to hear about a Matori Shifter with dark skin like the sky.
Yeah, he'd let her know and next time have to bring her hunting for Ondine in the marketplace.
