"" KOzi leveled her eyes at the boy when he asked his question, furrowing the brows atop her head as she did so. She sat on the back of the bench, which didnt complain at the added weight, and crossed arms over her chest. "You want to bring along a friend, who isn't a fan of robbery, to your initation into the red hand?" She let the weight of her words simmer as her phone vibrated again. Dammit, joker. She spoke again. "Is this person a cape? Is she... capable in a fight? Does she have an interest in the hand? I was only told this was an initiation for you. Probably not smart to bring another on." It as about that time that, somewhat ironically, the other person she was initiating showed up. Lilith offered a smile to her, and seeing her gear made her light up. She took the stethoscope and hung it from her neck, then dug into her backpack, removing the radio jamming contraption and handed it to him before taking her laptop from Lilith and putting it inside. She couldnt help but laugh at what her Lilac had said. "Scamper, meet Jungler. Jungler, Scamper. Scamper can talk to rats and control them, he can... well he can decode powers he sees, fly, be invisible when no one is looking at him, which i am inclined to believe means that he will be integral to this job. This thing is a radio jammer," she spoke plainly now, making sure they werelistening. "Step one, Jungler, you'll be going in first, alone, to the back of the bank. Make sure no ones around so you don't show up on the cameras, and then hide this thing in a dumpster. Turn this nob all the way up, then text me that we're good to go. Fromthere, take up an over watch position on top of the building. If you see capes, I need notification. From there, lilith, I'm assuming you went and got the rats?" She would look at her expectantly.
Barry flushed in embarrassment, feeling ashamed for even bringing up his girlfriend. He needed to let her know now that she'd need to hold back and go home. Letting himself ignore Kozi, he pulled out his cell and dropped a message telling Janet to turn back. His attention snapped back quickly...
"-control them, he can... well he can decode powers he sees, fly, be invisible when no one is looking at him, which i am inclined to believe means that he will be integral to this job."
Oh crap, someone showed up while he was distracted. Plus he just missed her name! Well, at least he has some backup here. Puling on his power he got the intuitive sense of this girl's abilities.
Ability is incredibly strong! Power controls Rattus Muridae in large groups, power allows use of rats' senses. Such bull.
He let his power shut up and brought his focus back to the conversation as best as he could. Okay, slip through invisibly, drop off the jammer, turn on the jammer, text... "Okay, got it." Watch for capes... Should I tell them that I can't see capes' powers? It probably wont matter. They're not going to attack us plainclothes, right? ... Lilith! Lilith, lilith, lilith! Remember that!

"If you enjoy this then I guess I'll give you more calls then." Luke would say with a chuckle. He didn't exactly trust the female for now but it was still good enough to not have to hide who he really was, it was new to him. "I would love to test out that theory but that will have to wait for after the job. Sadly" A smirk growing on his face. It was indeed very good to not hide anything. The female had also changed, Luke appreciated her costume, she had a beautiful figure and also seemed to also have the brains to go with it. "I can say anything will probably look good on you. Let's go then."
Luke would start moving towards where they were gonna meet, it was not a long run or jumping and dodging the views of random strangers, they had agreed to meet in a close place after all. At first glance it seemed that they had an extra person that Luke was not aware of, not that it mattered, in fact it mattered a lot, it was one more person for them to divide the cash with. Luke would slowly approach them. "Yo." He would say, he was not really about to make a whole introduction right now, he wanted to know what they were about to head into. "I've brought someone who will be of much great help to our cause." Luke would sign towards Yavanna, hoping the beautiful lady would introduce herself, Luke would do it but he did not know how much info she wanted to throw into it. "But back to the important issue. What shall we be doing tonight?" Luke would say staring towards the rookie, he didn't know Liana personally but he knew Kozi was not one to always work alone and there was something about the new kid that made it easy to tell he was a rookie.

Yavanna rolled her eyes and gave an amused smirk at Luke's comments. He was obviously either hitting on her or the thought of her was on his mind along with most of the men (sometimes women!) that she ran into on these sorts of little outings. It was a blessing and a curse, these powers. She followed alongside Luke as he lead her towards the meeting area where they would presumably go and meet the rest of their group. That or he was taking her some place to where he could pin her against a wall. Regardless of the case, she made sure to stay a decent amount of space behind the boy in case he decided to get a little frisky. He was an interesting character, one that Yavanna could see some sort of use in. If he could get all sorts of tips and information on the latest jobs around the city, she would be sure to keep his name in her head.
When the two had arrived to meet Luke's other friends, she gave them a nod of her head while sticking close to Luke. Not close enough to get any signals mixed up about their relationship or anything. "Yavanna." She simply put, eyeing every person in their little squadron of fun time. Everyone seemed to be dressed up for some occasion which was hopefully still a pay day. There wasn't much point on dressing up unless this was some strange meeting or another.
So he was getting the message she was laying down, that was good. With the appearance of Luke, and some very hot bodied woman alongside him, she stood up straight, opening her laptop and pressing the on button. While it booted up Kozi turned to Luke and gave a somewhat dramatic curtsy. The last time the two had been together was when she tried to pickpocket him and ended up washed down the street. From there, it had only been ups for their friendship. Today would mark the first time she saw him in costume, but there was no hiding the features that she recognized upon his arrival, or his voice with that light french accent. Eyes fell on Yavanna after a second of sizing him up, and when they did they seemed to linger for a bit. Well well, Joker has some cute friends that aren't me? Her competitive nature started to rise up, but before it got too out of control she allowed the girl the space to give her own name.
"Call me Kozi," she began gesturing with a hand delicately placed over her chest, and then gestured to the two at her sides in kind. "Scamper is the girl here, and the boy is Jungler. Scamper has a mastery over rats, Jungler can do a lot. He's a slow flier, can be invisible when no one is looking, and he can decode powers, which is going to be integral for his use as an early warning system should any capes come to ******** with us. Joker can fly three times faster than you Jungler, and he can push water out of his body. Its more annoying than it sounds. Not sure about your friend, but I hope she has something handy for fighting Wardens. As for why they would be on our case... tonight, boys and girls, we're going to be robbing a bank." She let the words set in as her laptop entered the final stages of it's boot up. She gave it a sec for the weight of her words to set in, noting that it was just past 11 pm, and they had plenty of night time to go over and modify her plan. They had the cover of the night, and were far from government buildings that would have cameras watching them for now. At least she hoped so. Still, she went on. She brought up a small map of the city, with a bunch of red x's, on the laptop monitor
"I was telling Jungler that his part in this game of ours is simple. We let him go first, invisible to the cameras, with a jammer I created so he can set it up somewhere nearby and jam the cameras and phone lines. It wont last long, but it will be enough to also hamper the silent alarm. From there, he's gonna stay hidden somewhere and provide overwatch. He will send a text if he sees capes after the jammer, inevitably, runs out of juice. While he does that, I'm going to break us in the backdoor of the building and Scamper, Yavana, Joker and I will clean out the drawers in the front for all the cash inside. The last bit of the plan, as it stands, is for me to break us into the vault and get the real good stuff, including some information from a safety deposit box for the Red Hand. I dropped off a few backpacks and duffle bags along my usual route looking for trouble, marked on the map by the Xs, so we can pick them up while Jungler lays down the Jammer. The important stuff is as follows: there will be guards armed, likely, with batons and the like. Take them down before they can go for any other alarms. The jammer will leave us without communication to the outside as well, so untl it dies after about two or three minutes we need all the guards downed. Do not kill them." She stopped, making sure that was understood. She looked to Scamper. "Send your rats as far out into the area surrounding the bank as you can to watch for capes, dear. Let me know as soon as you see anything at all like trouble. Our escape plan hinges, largely, on what our newest guest can do. Yavanna, I don't suppose you have any special skills you'd like us to know about? Beyond that there is a sewer entrance behind the bank we could probably escape through if we are fast, and everything goes to plan. Which it won't, inevitably." She looked expectantly to the dark skinned beauty.
Eiffel used his power once again, filling in on the two late joiners' powers.
Rank Six Power; Flight. Rank Six Power; high pressure water projection. Simple enough, but still scary... What about the girl? Rank Six Power; can alter form into any variation of her own body. Rank Six Power; red mist puts people into fantasy state. Exudes mist from body. Fantasy state alters the mind and causes hallucinations of varying strength, related to the targets specific greatest desires. S***.
He let his gaze fall from the pair, not wanting the incredibly scary mist woman to get the wrong idea from his staring. Let alone her boyfriend. He needed some space from these people, and with the plan set out, he had the moment to do so.
"I'll get going then... just to be clear, I'm setting the comm's debuff, then I camp top and scry out what the enemy comp is, feed info on abilities, and make the calls for our pull? Then we all try to juke them and route our way to base? Sounds perfect."
He took off into the air with the jammer in hand. Taking deep breaths and calming himself. His brief flight took him up until he couldn't feel any eyes on him, at which point he began his descent towards the bank. Dropping into the empty alley, he shut off his flight and pullled out the jammer. He twiddled with the nob, and it stopped moving to one end. Satisfied with his work he left it beneath the dumpster and took back off.
I'm on the roof now, have LOS on the entrance and street, get over here!
Liana tried to remain as quiet as she could throughout the whole ordeal. Mainly due to her complete lack of know-how when it came to planning a freaking bank heist. She tried to not look so taken aback by the idea when it came pouring out from Kozi but she failed miserably and her mouth literally just fell open in to a little 'o'. Her silence was also caused by her trying to pull more and more rats to join the cause. Forty three wouldn't be enough for a job like this, not that Liana actually had anything to go off of from prior experience. The plan was relatively well thought out and it was with a full smile that Liana looked to Lilith when she wasn't looking. It was enticing to see her in this persona, so in charge and commanding. She bit at her bottom lip and crossed her legs, tightening her grip on the edge of the table she had been leaning against. The girl lightly shook her head, refocusing herself so she wouldn't miss a part of the plan.
Luckily Kozi was good at this s**t. As more and more rats congregated in and around the building Liana went over the details. All she had to do was keep an eye out for any capes. There was a weight in her then, pressing deep in her stomach that made her feel like maybe that street vendor hot dog wasn't the best idea. She crossed her arms over her chest and stared at a little crack in the wooden floors. This bank job wasn't like anything she had done before. Sure she occasionally nabbed things off of shelves when no one was looking and maybe even once or twice had to make a getaway on her board when someone had actually been looking. Other parahumans could get involved here, ones that stood on the opposite side of the law. Absentmindedly she nodded her head along to whatever Kozi was explaining, caught up in wondering if someone who could shoot lasers out of their eyes would show up to kick their asses. Like controlling rats was cool as hell and all but she was still very much human. A human who wasn't the best at swinging fists and dodging bullets.
"Ko, so all of us have these abilities but so far I haven't heard of anything that is uh, you know super battle ready. I know you can kick some serious a** but what the hell am I going to do against someone who can lift an eighteen wheeled truck and toss it like a toy at me? If the majority of get caught out in some crazy cape battle I don't really know what I...Well I just mean I don't want to see people getting killed over a few thousand dollars. Liana half felt like a chicken, half like a wimp, and half like someone talking actual sense. On one hand she so wanted to tag along and see this side of Lilith. Not only that but there was a power in her too, one that could change things. Banks were just another example of the rich keeping a hold over the destitute, hitting one up could be as impacting socially as it would be to her wallet. She was on the fence, needing a bit more reassurance that they wouldn't be facing anyone from the Ward/ens or some other policing force.

Now remembering that right before they had arrived that he noticed that Yavanna had kept quite away from him while they made their way here, maybe she was playing safe, not a bad choice honestly since trust was not exactly overflowing at this particular moment, regardless of this he knew he would till have to get to know here in some shape or form, it came with the job honestly. Not that he wouldn't want to know more about her, people were interesting to Luke, even observing them was a interesting hobby of his, maybe he should ask some questions at some point. The male was pretty damn sure that she would end up being a useful person to keep around after all. Luke had been right on letting Yavanna introduce herself since from her empty answer he could tell she did not wish to fully introduce herself.
Luke simply nodded as Kozi introduced the two she had brought with her and he was in no way surprised on what they were actually about to do. From what he had gathered around the streets he knew Kozi was slowly rising in the thieving world and this was indeed the next logical choice. Crossing his arms while Kozi explained her entire plan to the group, it seemed like the plan had been very thought out and was not simply something that she had sprung up on her mind just now, the only thing that bothered him was the no killing par. "You know not wanting us to kill will only end up giving us loose ends to tie up, right? But I like the plan." Luke was not the warmest person ever since he had lost his family but he was also not psychopath so he was 50/50 on the whole idea. Luke watched as the rookie left them to go do his part. "Well... There goes our hero." He would say with a grin. It seemed like the female he didn't know also had some worries of her own but she was strong enough to point them out and Luke respect her for it. "We might not have the physical capabilities of some of those 'heroes' out there but we have way more brain. I believe we could easily outsmart them with our...... Interestingly vast array or powers here." With that said it seemed like the plan was now set in motion. Looking towards Kozi with a smirk. "Do lead us away, mademoiselle." She was the leader after all and also the brains of the operation.

Kozi's phone buzzes with a new message.
"The job's off. Meet me at the usual place. - S"
Posted: Tue May 23, 2017 3:10 pm
NO MARKS HERE NOPE
"Wait, dammit!" Kozi called out, but by the time she had looked up from her laptop the boy was long gone. Her nostrils flared a bit as he got away from them, and her hand immediately went for her phone. He'd gone and dashed off before they even actually exchanged phone numbers. It was visible in her face that Kozi was confused, irritated and flabbergasted. Index finger and thumb pressed into the bridge of her nose, Kozi sighed. This was why she didn't like initiating people. In her years with the group, it had only ever served as a hassle. As Liana spoke about her insecure feelings over their ability to fight another cape, she flicked her tongue over her teeth to stop from grinding them together. Her response was somewhat sharp. "Wards don't kill people. Neither do the wardens. Worst to worst they send a contingent of capes at us and Luke floods the building to wash em out and we all escape. A super strong hero can only do so much while his teammates are being swarmed with rats. And this was supposed to be a fast, quiet job. There goes that." Her mood had shifted downwards, and even as Luke had spoken she was trying to figure out how to make this work. She didn't know if the jammer was on, properly placed, if he was going to be waiting... he had just litted out without waiting for the plan to be finished? What the ******** like this she wished she had super speed. She looked to Luke when he grinned, a scowl painting what of her face was visible. Before she could scowl in his direction, responding to his grin, a vibration in her hand caught her attention. She glanced at the message, which seemed to bug itself out as soon as she opened it. She facepalmed. "No can do, Joker. Red Hand brass called off the mission, and I think my boss wants to see me. I..." she closed her eyes, not eager to be before Slink at the moment. "I'll be in touch. Scamper, we'll catch up. Joker... don't wander too far. I'll be in touch again within the week to make this up to you and your lovely little friend there." she winked, to all of them and none of them, before turning off in the direction she had come from. Once out of eyeshot, she began a quick sprint, sticking to shadows, shying away from buildings capable of tracking her movement with cameras where she could.
___Makoto plopped herself down in one of the seats to wait for her contact. This had better be good, honestly, as she abandoned a small mountain of free hotdogs to come sit her broke a** in a restaurant she couldn't afford. Metal fingers plinked dully against the table as she waited.

"" KOzi arrived in a uncharacteristically quiet manner, walking in the restaurant with her eyes shielded from the afternoon sun by only her glasses. She plucked the from her face, seeing Makoto, or something like her online avi, in a seat in the hnassuming place. She waded between tables, taking a path that put her in the way to her chair. Along the way she got a glimpse into the kitchen, watching one of the chefs tossing salad. She could almost feel the muscle memory taking root in the few seconds where her interest had been piqued. She sat down across from Makoto, offering a hand obliviously. "You must be the one I hailed here from Parahumans O. Names Lilith, she offered with a tentative smile.
___Makoto smiled as her contact finally arrived, though it was of a sly variety. Lilith, a loaded name if there ever was one, though she seemed ignorant of her mistake at the outset almost immediately. Mischievous though she was, the woman figured it was probably best not to press her advantage with nothing to gain except fleeting entertainment. No, instead she simply rerolled the last fold in her NBPD blues top, which a perceptive person would notice hung exceptionally straight for a light piece of work wear. "You can call me Kirin, for now. And you'll want to skip the handshake." She mused as one of her deep emerald green - nearly black - metal fingers stretched out towards the fork in front of her and a bolt of electricity sent it zipping off the table. "That's just what I built up getting from the door to the table, you should see what happens after I got for a jog." Without a workshop to build her tech, Makoto's electricity was actually pretty dangerous to any untrained person without contradictory physical abilities. Sure, that handshake would have just been a really powerful joy buzzer in this situation, but that wasn't exactly a great way to introduce yourself to someone offering to house you. The little dragon was boorish and crude, but not incapable of tact. It was also a gentle, though slightly spectacular, warning that avoiding physical contact at all costs was probably the wisest approach to living around the former paramilitary operator.

"" Kirin was the name, wasn't it. Lilith wondered why she had avoided wanting to make contact, luckily not for long. Luckier still was the demonstration she received. As the metallic hand reached out, Lilith tensed just a bit, and the bolt of electricity sent the fork flying on a path that wouldn't have hit Kozi. Still, quick reflexes and a learned skill for catching objects would have alloed her to catch it. Better judgement allowed the now electrified fork to fly free, embedding in the ceiling not far off behind the pair. Lilith looked upon the limb, interest far clearer on her face than her tensed body gave way, and slowly she began to relax. The woman had, at least, been nice enough not to play a joke on her. "Well, that's a much cooler party trick than mine," she alluded, spotting that there was no wait staff on the immediate path to them. She interlaced her fingers on the table ahead, looking Makoto in her eye rather than staring at her metallic arm any longer than hat as necessary and expected for something so peculiar. "I guess we can jump right in, then. I don't know yout situation, how you came to be in a state such as you are, and it isn't really of my concern. Whatever you did and do is your own business. Im mostly concerned ith to things. First, if you need space for a workshop there is a second spare room in the apartment e have space for. Secondly, and this is mostly for my on curiosity, what is it you make? Your specialty as it were?" The question wasn't likely to be viewed as too intrusive from her perspective. I mean, the woman was, after all, a tinker. They have specialties, and they often spend a long time refining their skills within that boundary, so it stood to reason that anyone ho knew someone was a tinker would be curious as to what they could build.
Of course, Kozi wanted to know so she could figure out if it were worth buying something from her, but thats neither here no there.
___What did she make? That was an interesting question, all things considered. Makoto's fingers waggled in a little wave in response. "I make these." She said, referring to her prosthetics. "I assume the basic design was something Dragon copied ages ago, but mine are made specifically for highly stressful situations. In most cases they're not just just replacements, though I must admit I'm limited somewhat by form." Why the woman seemed hesitant to ask was a mystery to the little dragon, though she was much newer to being a cape than most. She mulled the offer presented for a moment, not wanting to seem unprofessional even though she knew she wasn't going to get a better offer. A flat rate to live and no other catch? The Undersiders wanted thirty percent on top of her Toybox fees and a rent that wasn't split. "s**t might get noisy, just as a heads up. I really only machine smallish parts, but the process is hardly quiet." Lots of tinkers got by on small tech, Makoto could not. She needed rugged material, and unlike a model of drone or some kind of device, hers were all made to spec. She couldn't order a bunch of stuff fabbed by someone else, because every arm and leg for every person was different in some small way. That got her thinking though... she'd need someone to provide systems tech that she couldn't. That could be prefabbed. She could order hardware components for that and assemble it, but she was no programmer. At the end of the day her devices worked by passing simple signals. They could be more with something more robust backing them up. An interesting thought, one that had her glazed over for a moment, lost in an off topic thought.
