"Why don't you try describing it first? Or we can hold off on the conversation about this until morning when you've at least had a chance to rest and then you can power up." She'd rather not risk anyone sensing a powered energy coming from Lucien's apartment anyways, and with Sumi so new to being a Guardian Cat she wasn't sure he knew how to dampen their auras... Hell, she didn't know if it was something that happened automatically or if it had to be focused on.

"I'm probably not going to be awake long enough to describe everything." He laughed softly, shaking his head. "Whole 'too much too fast' crash is going to catch up to me and you know pain meds always make me go to sleep." Sumi hopped up onto the couch next to him, curling up against Luc's hip and purring gently when Lucien scratched his ears gently. "I do have a bed in the other room. If you wanna stay the night and make sure I don't fall out of bed and hurt myself again."

"Then I'll microwave the water for the tea, then, instead of waiting for it to boil. While it's steeping we can get you back into bed and once you're settled I'm going to get a shower." She drew two cups down out of his cabinet, snagging the large, glass measuring cup for water. "I was on Corvus, which is why I missed your call... Trying to clean out the rooms that hadn't been destroyed. I finally managed to get cleaning supplies up there. Where do you keep the Alieve, Luc?"

"It's in the cabinet in the bathroom." He waved a hand vaguely in that direction since Cordy knew where that was at least. "Cell services isn't all that great out there unless it's our other phones." And he hadn't wanted to power back up to see if she'd answer his call on that one. "Least being out there is a good excuse for not answering my call."

"Found it." She snagged the bottle out of the cabinet, setting it down on the arm of the sofa before slipping back into the kitchen to finish prepping the tea. "I still haven't actually found anything that's given me any information about the past of Corvus, but... Cleaning up there is better than obsessively rearranging my furniture at home."

"Least you don't have to worry about trying to straighten up books." He might not have minded as much if he could read them but even Sumi couldn't translate the text. "I'm glad you're going out there more though. It's nice knowing all this nonsense really does have a connection to something."

"I don't know how much it's connected, but it's worth figuring out what we can. Besides, it's beautiful up there... Nice and quiet too." A soft smirk touched her lips as she pulled the tea bags out of the water, adding a bit of honey to Luc's cup before bringing it out to him. "Here... Take some of the Alieve and we'll get you back to bed."

"They're our homes. Where we came from ... least part of us." Sure their bodies had been born here but them, Arsinoe and Corvus, had been born out there. That was enough of a connection for him and there was so much to learn. He took the pills from his cousin and the mug of tea. Blowing on it a bit he made sure he could actually drink it before swallowing the pills. "Think you can help me without us both falling over?"

"I think I can manage." A soft smirk touched her lips as she held her hand out to her cousin. Once he took hold of her hand she tugged him up to his feet, supporting him as carefully as she could while helping him back to his room. "You've got clean towels in your bathroom, right? I hope you don't mind me borrowing your shower if I'm going to spend the night..."

"Yea." He draped an arm over Cordy's shoulders so he could keep himself upright as she slowly walked him back to his room. "I mean no I don't mind an yes I have towels. They're in the small closet in the bathroom." He always kept extras around since he never knew when he was going to come home covered in youma dust and need an extra shower. Sumi hopped off the couch once Lucien was up and followed after them. "He's not hurt too bad is he?" He bumped his head against Cordelia's leg since they were moving slowly. He wanted her opinion on the whole thing too .

"Luc will be just fine, Sumi. He's a bit roughed up, but the scratches aren't as bad as they could have been. He just needs to rest, which I'm sure you'll make sure he gets?" Her brow quirked as she glanced down to the small feline at her feet. Cordy nudged Luc's door open, helping him over to his bed. She set the tea down on the nightstand. "Tell Sumi that you're going to be alright," she murmured softly as she helped him settle down onto the edge of the bed.

Sumi nodded and once Lucien was sitting down hopped up onto the bed beside him. "I should have been able to help more though then maybe he wouldn't be hurt." It was hard for a cat to pout but he managed it well enough. If he just wasn't as small or so scared of everything he might have been able to keep the General from hurting Arsinoe. "I've already told him that." After he was sitting he set a hand on Sumi's head, ruffling his ears before he nudged the kitten into his lap and patted his chest. The kitten moved as he was directed before leaning up to put his paws on Lucien's chest. Lucien leaned down so his forehead rested against the star on Sumi's. "I'm alright. Just scratched up and it's not your fault. I should have felt her coming too."

"We all have to start somewhere, Sumi. We learn from everything that happens. Her voice was soft as she spoke, watching the two of them for a moment before stepping back. "Make sure he doesn't go anywhere tonight, Sumi. Lots of rest for both of you... Luc, we'll talk more in the morning."

Lucien rolled his eyes knowing Cordy wouldn't be able to see him behind Sumi's head before he shifted so he could set Sumi up by his pillows. "Mind throwing me a pair of sweatpants out of the second drawer on your way past?" Sumi curled up on the pillow for the moment knowing Lucien was going to get changed before he actually laid down. No matter how tired he was somehow he always managed to not sleep in his clothes

"Last favor for the night, Luc, then I'm going to get a shower." Her tone was light and teasing, a soft smirk on her lips. She paused by his dresser, opening the drawer to pull out a pair of sweats. She tossed them lightly over to her cousin, watching him for a brief moment. "Good night, Luc," she murmured before heading out into the hall, tugging his door shut behind her with a soft 'click'. She'd leave her phone on just in case he needed anything, but otherwise she was going to enjoy a nice, warm shower and a good night's rest.
