There wasn't much of a complaint from Metis as she took Nevetira's mask back, holding it close to her. Even without it's power, it was still a treasure to her. From their close proximity, she could almost make out the wink, but the proximity of the Generals... well.

Nothing was soothing her.

The way Victoria spoke to them made her skin crawl, and when she heard that he'd discussed her with the General, her pale green eyes narrowed venomously towards the higher ranked man. How many lies about the Asteroids had he had a hand in seeding in Victoria's head?

"Charming, I'm sure," she gave in stiff reply to the introductions. Ashanite and Cavansite. Generals of the Negaverse, both at least some what familiar with her friend, and-- what? She couldn't stop herself. She gave Victoria a hell of a confused--and albeit, hurt--look, a very obvious silent form of saying what the ******** man?

But her seething was at least somewhat quieted when he stepped in front of her. She understood it was protective. His soft words made her frown a bit, but she stepped closer to him, peering around Victoria's arm to glare at the Generals. It wasn't a lie: Victoria had her trust. Them? Not remotely. "Can you teleport us out?" She kept her voice as low as he had, not wanting the Generals to overhear.

Of course. Things went from bad... to worse. She wasn't able to make out the thing that was suddenly in the General's hand, but to hear her speaking... Metis blanched. General Queen? Oh no. Oh no. "Vic we have to run," she whispered tightly to him, again keeping her voice low, but her panic was clear in the slightly higher pitch to her tone.

Really, she wasn't sure which General she loathed more. The one who called her pet and suggested she'd be joining a new family--ew, gag, no--or the one who faked pleasantries and called her Miss Metis. She wasn't going to miss breaking his jaw if he kept this up...

If there was anything she'd gained from her friendship with Iris, it was a bit more of a temper and a bit more of a sense of violence.

"I politely decline at this time, thank you. I have... other matters I need to see to before such a thing could even be possible, though I must say," she began to add, scowling at them both. "Vic does a far better job at selling the notion than either of you are even coming close to doing."

She was horrible at playing along. She was trying but all she wanted to do was get the hell out of there.

And then s**t really went south and she had to grab hold of the back of Victoria's shirt to keep herself from falling over at the sudden loss of blood to her brain as she felt herself pale further.

The slam of a General Queen's energy made her gut wrench and her magical vision blur for a moment, as her stronger aura out shown any other currently in the area. She was... short. But Metis didn't let her guard down for a moment. Her pulse was a buzz in her ear, and she felt faint. Her chipper tone felt like needles in her ears to join the painful buzz, and the invite to come out for she'd not bite made Metis want to do just the opposite.

Still keeping one hand at Vic's back, holding onto the cloth of his shirt, and her other hand gripping the mask, she stepped out slightly, if only to not look... so like a coward. She couldn't let Victoria face this alone. She... she couldn't. She couldn't abandon him. "I'll never abandon you to them. Ever, Vic," she whispered softly, before lifting her voice so the higher ups could hear her next words. "I apologize for you coming all this way. There has been... a miscommunication at this time." If she could bluff, could it be long enough for help to get there? For them to get out?

Victoria took a breath and held it as Asha and Cava both talked, the words that came from Cavansite's mouth of 'Not to worry now, my pet' even made Vicky bristle a little because if Metis was anyone's she'd be his to protect and care for. Even if that wasn't the way things normally worked.

Granted the way Cavansite stared at him, caused him to pause for a moment. "Ahah, ahh I was hoping. . . she uh, could be mine?" Yeah that totally sounded super legit coming from a super right? When he was out ranked.

"Does it really have to be by force?" He asked them both, he didn't want her to be forced, ". . . What happens if she wasn't forced?"

He was thinking about teleporting them out, when he felt the brushes of order reinforcements before the General Queen showed up. Before he could finish but he decided to finish the conversation with Asha before addressing Hess.

"Asha, Would . . . she be able to remember anything? If she wasn't forced? Remember how . . . we were abandoned?" Maybe that's why he clung to her so hard and wanted to protect her despite the . . . obvious issues and complications.

There was a pause as he noticed the Camera in Hessonite's hands. "Hessonite!" He tried to keep from frowning but it was still a little worrying, "T-thank you."

There was a pause as Metis had come out from behind him a little and he tried to give her a smile too, "Thank you. . . " he added in a whisper. Honestly though, he wasn't sure he was abandoned to them.

She'd asked who the senshi was he'd had with him. Metis kept talking behind him, he'd heard everything she had said but it was difficult to answer her and keep even remotely convincing stance. "She's uh, Metis. A former team mate, I was hoping to . . . be able to talk to her into coming willingly. But it seems my . . . efforts have been fairly soiled, I really didn't want to have her forced. So I could come to you, and see if there was a way to bring her home without her losing her memories?" Again he was testing to see if any of them had ideas on how memories worked.

He really hoped that Metis would also forgive him for this too. He didn't mean to get her caught up in all of this.

Cavansite’s eyebrows raised when Victoria had the nerve to say that he wanted to keep her. Why should he get such a pretty senshi for his own…just because he was trying to conspire to ‘bring her to the fold’…when it seemed much more like he was working to leave and desert the Negaverse.

Besides…he didn’t deserve her.

She felt a flash of anger and her spear appeared in her hand, her eyes still on both of the senshi. No, she was quite sure now that Hessonite was there…things would end much differently than either of them figured that they would. The spear was a threat. A threat to Victoria.

She didn’t say anything, it wasn’t her place to talk now that the General Queen had been called. Cavansite knew her place.

But god did she want to wipe that stupid expression off of the senshi’s face…she didn’t like the way that Cavansite spoke? Fine. Well. Things would change soon.

Things would all change for her soon.

Hessonite didn’t really seem surprised by the refusal from the senshi. Honestly, she had figured that was coming from the second message that Cavansite had sent, but. She didn’t need to agree in order to be brought over. It helped, of course. It helped to have a willing convert, but it wasn’t though it was needed.

“What a nice, polite refusal.”

She began walking over, taking her time, not wanting to cause Victoria to do something stupid, no. He was truly the issue here now. He was the one who was dangerously close to making a mistake, especially when the senshi kept whispering into his ear. That was not something that Hessonite enjoyed to see.

In fact, it made her feel a bit disgusted. The redhaired General Queen flashed a smile and held up the camera, snapping a quick picture of both Vicotria and the senshi. “There we go, now you’ll have at least one, solid memory of what you were, isn’t that nice?”

It was more than she ever got.

She was upon them, her eyes on Metis. “You see, Victoria. There’s a few things you need to remember, things you need to think about for the next time this happens. When you start out on the wrong side, you have to pay with your memories. Sometimes not all of them, but sometimes it does take all of them.” Her hand moved, slipping inside of the corrupt’s chest, pumping more chaos into his starseed. Perhaps he needed incentive.
Perhaps he needed the pain as a reminder.

“Another thing you need to remember, Victoria, is that you are ours. Do not forget your place. This gift is from me to you, you brought a senshi, but almost lost yourself in the process. Don’t do it again.”

When enough chaos had entered, and he was stronger, she removed her hand, eyes taking in the new and improved Victoria.

Victoria tried not to step back onto Metis when Cavansite pulled her spear; that was a big spear too. He knew he'd been had but he didn't have time as Hessonite was walking over to them, he probably looked shocked in the photograph she took of the pair.

He hadn't expected her to do such a thing. Though he couldn't help but admit that was fairly nice and would've been a nice thing to have. However he didn't speak he didn't want to get into deeper trouble.

He paused, she was talking as she said that he needed remember that he was theirs. He wasn't expecting her hand to slip inside his chest, he cringed as she spoke. The pain wasn't enough to make him pass out, but it was a shock to the system.

He didn't look back at Metis he'd failed her; but he couldn't just ignore his general queen. He nodded softly, "I won't do it again Ma'am. Thank you for the generosity." He said softly looking ashamed of himself. It might have been hard to tell which he was ashamed of more though.

Ashanite was still and silent, merely watching Victoria and the strange Senshi, letting the clear size and sharpness of his staff do its own work as a threat should anyone attempt to make this more difficult than it needed to be.

A long, slow smile drew its way across his face, though, at Victoria's question. Of course he knew the answer. He knew exactly how much he remembered, and exactly how little Victoria did. But Hessonite had an answer, and he nodded in her direction. No need for elaboration, no need for pretty words. Victoria's promotion - into the lovely, perfect Eternal Ashanite had always hoped to see him blossom into - was enough of a declaration, in any case.

He shifted from meaning on his staff to wielding it properly, balancing it in front of him and shifting, subtly, into a stance more ready to attack.

He doubted Metis would come quietly. Still, one last little chance.

"Speaking from experience," Ashanite said, a little dryly, "it really is better if you surrender. Keep a little of yourself."

The sound of a camera snapping a shot confused her, and likely her expression was none too dissimilar to Victoria's surprise--albeit, she likely wore more of a scowl than him. A memory of what they were?

A part of Metis really, really wanted to point out that a photo wouldn't exactly do her much good, but decided against it for obvious reasons.

Up close, the General Queen didn't look overly imposing in her stature, however, the way her energy flared out, it made it impossible to not flinch at how close the woman was. Still, to hear her speak--starting out on the wrong side, paying with memories... she braced herself, unsure if she could use her magic quick enough to back up if the woman attacked her or---

"What are you doing to him?" Her voice came out as a near scream, empty eyes wide as she watched the copper figure of the General Queen in part merge with Victoria's, her hand slipping into his chest. She could see the flare of her energy further, as she felt the influx of Chaos in the air, cringing as if burned by its presence. A gift? She was killing his very soul.

The change in his silhouette, and his power signature, made Metis' skin crawl, bile rising in the back of her throat as she stepped back, a hand over her mouth as she fought the urge to puke. "Oh God, Victoria..."

The Generals were barely on her radar, faced with the General Queen and now Corrupt Eternal before her. His very words made her eyes sting and slowly rim with red as she tried to push back tears. What had she done? She'd only meant to help him, and now she... she'd condemned him to more of Chaos inside him. She could see it, in his aura and the broken, warped tendrils of his corrupted energy.

Against such smothering darkness, Metis was almost surprised to sense beacons of light out there. Coming closer and closer, clutching the mask still to her chest, she swallowed thickly, forcing her free hand down, trying to ignore how she trembled--rage, sorrow, fear--and stated in a firm, biting voice back to the male General, "With all due respect, I intend to keep all of myself."

She began to back up further, feeling the incoming Order energies. She wasn't alone. Though she turned her head towards Victoria, lips moving in a soft I'm so sorry before she lifted her hand to her tiara, calling out, "Mind's Eye Vision!" The orb condensed in her hand, and she flung it out, towards the General (Ashanite), hoping to at least cause them to scatter. At least one less to deal with for a small, small moment.

The orb remains whole as it flies out to the target, only to vanish into them without a trace. Once the orb vanishes into the target, they would find themselves bombarded with unintelligible, jumbled, and all around random visions of... the future? The visions in their head would come in such a rapid succession that focusing on the present could be quite difficult, though not necessarily impossible. The visions last for 20 seconds. Metis is only able to use her attack twice per battle.

Going on patrol dates was a rare thing. Highschool was more difficult than Lenka liked to admit, and finding time to go on patrol alone was hard enough, let alone trying to find time to patrol with her boyfriend. But, on those rare occasions when it was able to happen, she was one happy senshi. Tonight was one of those nights, and Lenka had been happily sitting on the swings, holding Goretti’s hand as she kicked her feet, absolutely oblivious to, or just not really caring about the faint chaos auras that were not too terribly far away. Still far enough away not to bother her...but still.

“I don’t know, ‘Retti, I know we should patrol, but I just feel so...lazy all the time now. I can’t wait until summer so we can have more time to just go out. And hang out. And you know. Go on real dates.”

She looked at her partner and grinned, squeezing his hand. Everything was going good...until the distress call began. With a sigh, she pulled out her senshi phone and looked at it. Well. It had to be the ones that were close by...especially when the feeling of chaos grew stronger...and then even more stronger…

They couldn’t just…ignore this…

Well they could...but they shouldn’t.

With a sigh she looked over at the senshi of glue, pouting slightly. “What do you say? You wanna go over there and see what we can do?

He got the same distress call, and he was always the one preaching about helping people so...she figured he wouldn’t say no.

Standing up and taking his hand, Lenka took off with him towards the dark spot on the horizon, her eyes widening and her pupils contracting out of fear when she saw that it was two generals, a general queen and an eternal level corrupted senshi. Against two eternals, and a super senshi. A super senshi that was in a lot of hot water right now.

They totally had a chance, right?

Well, maybe not, but she would make a chance. Holding out her hand, Lenka shouted “Tempest Rind!”

Watermelons raining from the sky was a good way to get a bunch of chaos infected weirdos away from a senshi, it was a good way to get people away from a lot of things. She hoped one of them got hit right on the head. That would be just fantastic.

Quote:
Tempest Rind: Lenka says the name of her attack and points her hand at an opponent or group of opponents, up to three people total and a large pinkish cloud appears above their heads, raining out halved watermelons that fall around and on them. They can be dodged, but they can hurt quite a bit when they strike you. The opponent has to be within a ten foot range, and the attack lasts forty seconds. And can be used twice.

Truthfully, Goretti didn’t care if they were powering up together or doing homework together or just texting each other about silly little things; he was just happy to be around Lenka. Sometimes it felt like their patrols were just meandering around, talking about their days—which was fine! Especially on nights when there didn’t seem to be any evil.

Tonight wasn’t one of their lucky nights; he’d run along right after Lenka—even though the sensation of several powerful Negaverse agents made his skin crawl.

The General Queen was the worst.

Sometimes he forgot that they weren’t still Chibi Senshi—and even if he was afraid, he was glad that they had arrived. This hadn’t seemed like a very fair battle at all.

He could tell they’d run in just in the middle of something, and while he didn’t know what he’d missed, he could see that three of them were taking damage—either by the other Senshi, or Lenka’s magic.

Which left only the General Queen.

“Oh, man,” he muttered, and it was clear he didn’t want to do anything to incur her wrath—but of the group, she was probably the most dangerous.

Except, of course, Cavansite.

Immediately, he summoned his magic: “Goretti Glue Pool!”

Puddles of sticky white glue bubbled beneath Cavansite and the General Queen; he was hardly a fighter, but he hoped it would be distraction enough to give them some sort of advantage.

Quote:
A puddle of glue roughly two feet wide sprouts from beneath the target's feet and remains for twenty five seconds. Up to two people can be targeted at once now; the target(s) will find it exceptionally difficult to ply their feet from the ground, and should they manage to free themselves from the glue puddle (as it can be done, more often than not by higher level characters) each following step will also be hindered by the clinging glue. After thirty seconds, the glue turns to dust and loses all of its sticky properties.

Snowball had been late to the party, he'd got the distress call but also felt the wave of the General Queen's appearance a little more than he would've liked too but it meant he was close. He'd already decided he might should be senshi for this. Just in case s**t hit the fan, he could always summon back up he was sure.

Though his preferred back up help for a General Sovereign wasn't readily available he'd have to settle for the runner up if he needed them. He could tell there were other Order Aura around and he paused as he ran up on the scene in progress. "Goretti!" He instantly remembered the glue puddle he got stuck in the first time he'd met the boy. Now the chibi was . . . all grown up.

Man, they grew fast. "Careful, we don't know what she's capable of!" He offered as a warning before also calling up his own attack, "Snowflake Flurry!!" He aimed the snowflake shaped energy at the General Queen. Since she was, hopefully stuck in the puddle.

"Everyone okay?" Snowball added as he cracked a grin. It was so nice to be able to do something more than shoot forehead lazers.

Quote:
Snowflake Flurry!
In Snowball's hand three small energy snowflakes show up, and he can throw them as if they were throwing stars. When the stars hit their mark, they magically embed and cause a cold numbing sensation around the area that was struck until the magic fades. He can use this up to two times, and the stars only last for 10 seconds. There's no traces of the attack after the magic fades.

Metis had apologized before she attacked and his features softened at her, he knew she was doing what she must; but it seemed like she struck out at Ashanite. He turned to the General who'd brought him to the negaverse. "A-are you okay?" He asked softly, glancing back at Metis.

There was a 'sudden' apperance of two more order aligned senshi and suddenly Victoria found himself and Ashanite getting Pelted by halves of watermelons. He squawked a little as he moved to try and get away from it. Hopefully, pull Ashanite free of the attack as well. "H-hey now there's no call in pelting anyone with fruit!!!"

He didn't want to leave Metis open but it seemed she had help and he just couldn't . . . leave the fight now. He'd look like some chicken and traitor after being given new power. However, he also didn't really want to call his attack either. He wasn't sure how well he could handle it in such an environment. Or what it'd do for that matter. . . The senshi decided he'd take his chances and use it as a last resort.

Patrols weren't meant to be gone on alone and yet, here she was out on her own because she couldn't bring herself to disturb one of her housemates nor did she take it upon herself to reach out to one of the many she knew would meet with her if she asked. Some nights were just meant for long walks designed to quiet the restlessness of a mind. Tonight had started out as one of those nights before a call for help flared and left her heart skittering in her chest.

Taking note of the location and mentally mapping the streets in her head from years of scouting the area, Denebola went from her leisurely walk to a frantic sprint.

Arriving on scene was easy, because finding the source of the distress call was more prominent than she would have expected - if only because the swirling aura of the General-Queen seemed to take up every inch of space in the surrounding area. Dread filled her at the sight that was laid out before her; a Genera-Queen she'd never seen before, two generals, and a corrupted eternal.

There were White Moon on scene too, senshi she'd never met who looked too young to be in the thick of war; but hadn't she been just as young once?

Blue and green eyes darted this way and that, uncertain of the best course of action but -

The one senshi looked to be backed into a corner by the general-queen and while magic was bubbling up beneath the redheaded woman, her instinct was to draw attention away the only way she knew how.

Activating her magic, Denebola took off running, propelled by the boost and quite literally threw herself at Hessonite hoping the magic would allow her to effectively tackle.

And all of the sudden the nice evening was ripped apart by the sickening auras of not one, but two eternals…and then came along another super senshi. Cavansite rolled her eyes. Well. So much for plucking up the little super and taking her home. Now there was going to be a fight…but.

She liked fights.

Her eyes landed on the black haired eternal and she grinned, the expression full of malice. “Oh I remember you, pumpkin. I’m surprised you’re out and about. Remember how you cried when I took that stupid woman’s starseed?” She moved her head, showing Goretti the starseed on her earring.

“Here it is, it’s such a great fashion accessory. When I get yours, I’ll be sure to display it proudly.” She was about to take a step towards him, fully intending to carry out the threat when…when glue appeared under her feet. “Really? Is this the best you’ve got?”

She struggled to move her foot from the glue when a large half of a watermelon fell right on the top of her head, causing the general to cry out in surprised pain.

“What the ********? Seriously?
