Eventually she was able to tell when a watermelon was coming at her by sound, but not before the watermelon hit her square in the face, knocking off her heart shaped sunglasses, showing off those obviously blind eyes of hers and causing a bloody nose. She managed to smash a couple, but really... nothing spectacular. She'd need to pop by there again to go and get some practice in. After dancing with the melons for a while, she went on a quick search for her sunglasses. Unfortunately they were cracked rather badly, broken in half. " ...Shiiiiit, those were my favorites...."

Akkira wasn't to eager to just follow the rules or whatever someone else said, but of course she couldn't just act like a loose canon all the time. She did her best for as long as possible but there was only so much she could do. Some of those orders relied a lot on knowing by sight what she was doing and eventually Akkira gave up listening at all. She did really well for herself though. She gave Lorata a smile. "Shucks, Guess it would be a bit easier if i could see what I was doing, huh?"

She knew she had to try the obstacle course. Something about being able to go around and surprise everyone with her attempts gave her some amount of satisfaction, especially when people oo'd and ahhh'd. And really that's what she was going for. She started loudly singing, listening for echoes or lack of them and made a mental map of what these sounds told her then she launched into her jumps.
The next part she more or less did the same thing, singing at the course to get echoes or lack of echoes just to see what was up before she launched herself into things. By some amount of sheer dumb luck (or maybe she had specters whispering in her ears), Akkira was able to get to the other side. Her failing point came when the last event, one moment she was on the ball balancing and the next, she was in the drink.
She'd definitely have to get austri back for cheating her of a win like that!

Eostre found the booth cute and charming. Bikini Boot Camp? She decided to start with the watermelon smashing, something she figured would be easy enough. As they come down, Eos crushes them easily under her feet and fists, a few slipping from her grasp, but most manage to be destroyed. "That was easy," she said with a smile, running her fingers through her hair.

Nictor waded through the crowds, feeling rather out of place. unlike his previous Bloodfest, Bee was not hovering over his every step like a beloved guardian but instead was back at the booth like a beloved guardian with a job to do. It was strange to be wading through the crowd as one of those big scary trolls he used to look at and skitter away from. It was awkward and uncomfortable and he didn't quite like thinking about how he was becoming that which he dreaded.
Shaking his head roughly, Nictor plodded on, peering at the other stalls having not had a chance to browse as of yet, busy as he's been. By happenstance or not, he's wound up next to Bikini Bootcamp. Specifically right next to prize central. Seems like he spaced out there for a minute or so, just staring.
Gah, he was wasting his break! Though to be fair, his booth did have pretty much anything he'd need, so visiting other booths was a bit silly, though he did like the prizes. There was so much different stuff around, how could a troll resist some trinket?
Of course, the free watermelon bikini was not loot for him, but for Kolako. The redblood didn't really have any clothes fitting the occasion, and while she didn't seem too bothered by it, why not help provide her with a change of beach ware just in case?
Between grabbing a couple water bottles and trying to leave the stall, somehow Nictor wound up next to buckets full of ice and water and this does not bode well, aBORT-
oh. Okay, that works. Nictor winces as the troll who ended up getting doused collapses, but the vendor who'd gotten a hold of him seemed to get a kick out of it. She tosses hima towel before checking on the poor sap who got soaked and Nictor got off scott free.
Deciding not to stick around any longer, Nictor absconds with his loot.

Austri's Obstacle Course
Oh he didn't look like much, did he? Sure he... flubbed to follow Lorata's instructions, but still! It was totally because he was so excited over doing so well in the watermelon smashing time place!
This time, he was ready. Sort of. He kinda hoped his legs wouldn't noodle out again like they had been lately.
Yet they didn't. Mahmud sailed through the first obstacle course (he credited watching Harpommy hop around so much). Second obstacle course, there was nowhere for his legs to noodle out! All he had to do was jump from one to the other. So he just used all the strength he could to cling to those chimes and hop to the others. It wasn't a breeze, per se, but it was a good job!
Eyebrows were raising, confidence was going through the roof right about now!
Even the last obstacle was going his way... for a while. Mahmud felt so giddy while he hopped from thing to thing. He was going to do it! He was totally---
Oh no.
Oh gog.
Legs... NOODLING...
In a more-than-awkward moment, Mahmud tripped over his own two feet and slammed face first into the mat he was trying to jump onto. THWACK! Splash! Mahmud sunk to the bottom of the water and just... laid there for a while. Until he had to come back up for air.
He couldn't bear to look at Austri when he got out and walked off. He just... couldn't.

It went pretty good, and he lasted a decent amount of time... but the moment he tried to walk off, a piece of ice on the ground got caught under his sandal. Unceremoniously, he slipped and fell right on his face. There was a small sound of fluttering as someone threw a towel over him, and he just... laid there for a short while contemplating his life choices.
Maybe tomorrow he'd do better.

Hey it's called TRAINING, so any onlookers leering at you can just hold their tongues! Scorpa doesn't holler at you, nor does she look particularly inspired but she does give you a nod of acknowledgement. Static was still walking around, pretty happy from getting to see Mahmud, when he spotted colorful, and charming booth. As he neared tho, he noticed someone he didnt quite like... Static frowned and glared at the yellowblood, and jumped to get the bat. Maybe he could show her up, get her to stop being so awful.

You've just got to want to do better! Here, take one of these bobbleheads, aren't they just the cutest, and come try again okay?" She waves you on cheerily. Collect one bobblehead for your prize! Static smiled a small smile at the seadweller. She was pretty nice, he thought to himself as he went to pick out a bobblehead. His hand hovered over the seadweller's toy before he looked over at the yellowblood. The blueblood coughed, getting the yellowblood's attention, then grabbed the yellow doll, and smeared it thought the mud the watermelon bash game was making, stuck his tong out at the girl, put the bobblehead back, and grabbed a seadweller instead. Three Course2, 1, 3 You just barely manage to get through. Austri calls out something that sounds more like an insult than an encouraging cheer. (PASS) You jump from one to the other in a blaze of glory. Austri's other eyebrow raises. (PASS) Your foot almost makes it to the last mat and falls right through a hole. Your face slams against the mat and you think you lost a tooth somewhere. (FAIL) Static was doing really well at first, managing to keep his balance, while still being fast and getting through the death traps. Static let out a sigh of relief as he saw the end. Sadly that last one was the only one he failed, and the blueblood grumbled as he got off the course.
