Berserker Rage and Alluded Violence?
Username: Lady Argentum Draconis
Foal Name: Serkan Bloodfury
Will the basket come home?: Possibly
----------If so, how? If not, why not?:
Alone and Confused: Having broken from the confines of his basket only to find himself alone in the world, this will be jarring for the young colt as he was nearly certain that there had been others. Parents who had wanted him and awaited him, siblings to share this new world with, now however he finds no one. Had he dreamed it? Had the sounds of family only been a fantasy he thought up while he waited to grow strong enough to leave the wicker of his basket? He can eventually only come to conclude that something must have been wrong with him. Why else would he have been abandoned to the elements with no one to care for him?
Rise of the Bloodfury: Shortly after coming to these conclusions, he will go into a fit or rage destroying what remains of his basket and the ground, plants and trees around him with what strength a youngling can muster. He will find though after receiving a cut to his face that bleeds that the smell of blood does not scare or intimidate him but awakens something deep down, something primal that unleashes new found strength and rage within his small body. His mother's fury, so newly found with the arrival of him and his siblings, has found it's home in his small body and he unleashes it to the best of his ability. Spent and exhausted he will collapse and have take time to recover. He is not yet ready to handle his new found berserker power.
Wandering: After recovering from his bout with his power and concluding that his hidden power must be the reason for his abandonment, Serkan will wander until his adulthood. He'll eventually learn control and how to properly utilize his berserker state and with it he will have little fear of any opponent. Not even Kalona or Skinwalkers put fear in him. One little injury and his strength will double and become more than a match for any one wishing him harm.
Father: Eventually he'll come across the stallion who abandoned him and Serkan will not think much of him. This cowardly wretch his the stallion who fathered him? He is Serkan Bloodfury he has no fear of anyone, he is a warrior and fights with wild abandon against any who challenge him. However learning his his mother will intrigue him.
Home?: Having learned of Glain from Shuckles, Serkan will venture to Flock territory having full intention of meeting his mother and siblings who he hopes will live up more to the idea of what he thinks his family should be like. While he will bristle at now being submissive to females when before he was his own stallion, he hopes they will at least allow him to fight and protect the territory and that perhaps some of them will find him appealing enough to father foals upon them. Should this not go to his liking he may just wander off in the night again to make his own way in the world but at least take comfort that he's not a monster in his mother's eyes and he hopes he will do her proud with his feats.

A Knights Tale
Username: LunaRei_SilverBlood
Foal Name: Lady Xelola Misae "Lola" / Sir Maerophis Misae "Maero"
Will the basket come home?: For a visit in the least!
----------If so, how? If not, why not?: The basket was found by a Lady knight named Nadia. She had stood there for several moments considering her options before she heard her own mothers voice. She would bring the basket to her parents, Clause and Istas. It was clear that the basket had been left... Possible lost. It would need a loving home and her parents were always willing to raise foals.
It would be pretty clear that the foal wasn't related to the family by blood and when the time came someone would speak to it, about how they had found it and offer their assistance in finding their birthright should they desire it. But they would live as life as a Knight by the Knights code.
The question because will it forgo the Knights code for a Harpy life or stay on the path it was raised with. Finding ones self is rather hard and who knows what troubles could be fall a young adult?

Abandonment, Familial Strife, Custodial Issues, Possible Mental Disorders? Username: Nyx Queen of Darkness Foal Name: Summerhall
Will the basket come home?: Yes, and no. Ultimately, I’d like “him” (going to male pronouns instead of using both male and female pronouns at the same time, to allow it to be less confusing.) to want to know why his basket was out there alone.
----------If so, how? If not, why not?: Remember that you have full ability to manipulate / incorporate both parents AND siblings however you would like in the plot.
Basically, the idea is this. He’d want to understand where his basket was found to determine whether he was abandoned or left. The male who adopts him, Jon Snow is busy on bussiness for the Night’s Watch when he finds the basket. As the foal gets old enough, he’ll tell him all he knows about how the basket was found and encourage him to do what he feels is right. Jon named the foal Summerhall. As a b*****d, Jon understands the feeling of abandonment—not yet knowing who is own mother is or the sordid story that lies behind that.
Jon gives Summerhall all the tools he needs to set out on his own when he’s ready to find answers though it grieves Jon to let him go, he knows it’s a journey the foal will have to take alone.
Ultimately, Summerhall discovers the story of his mother and father. How it was his father who had abandoned him and not his mother, who gorged on grief at his loss. When he figures it all out through a series of clues, guesses, and detective work he will reunite with his mother and siblings if they love him as much as he hopes they will. But whether or not he wants to meet his father is a discussion that he will have to have with his mother (I believe it’s implied that his father is a tad off). He’d need to understand and make a decision whether what his father did was forgiveable or not, and whether or not he will hurt the only parent he had ever known by calling someone else father.
(So basically, yes I’d love him to reunite with his mother and siblings, but the road to forgiving his father would be a difficult one maybe not possible for a long time. Either way, he could not ever entirely abandon Jon, the parent who raised him.
His or her temper (nothing would change plotwise based on gender) would be something to do with tenacity or some kind of word meaning the hunger for truth or something.

Anger-Management Issues, Violent Outbursts, Bi-Polar TendenciesUsername: belloblossom Foal Name: Gwen (m/f) Will the basket come home?: Eventually, they will meet with their parents again through some means, though they will not be actively searching for them. When they do meet them and realize what happened it may turn into an... unpleasant family reunion. ----------If so, how? If not, why not?: Gwen will be found and named by two characters: Ellie and her familiar, Valentina. Ellie has a way of adopting baskets on their own and with her gift of loving absolutely everything that falls into her path, she'll scoop up the abandoned basket right away. Valentina, as she usually does in these scenarios, will hunt around the area where the basket was found in attempts to find the parents (so to prevent the awkward accidental basket-napping on her bonded's part.) Ellie will name the foal Gwen and raise them to love themselves and to wander wherever their heart desires. Gwen, in turn, will have a hard time trying to combat the harpy blood within them paired with the overwhelming love they're receiving from their mother. As a foal, they will be prone to violent outbursts and Valentina, who is a grumpy "you wanna fight?" type herself, will begin teaching Gwen how to re-direct their anger into fueling them towards a more productive goal, or if that's not so easy, then simply taking their unbridled rage out onto a tree, rather than the family. Between the love Gwen receives from Ellie and the tutoring from Valentina, Gwen will grow into an adult that's fairly good at keeping their emotions in check, unless they feel particularly strongly about a matter in which case they will "blow up" so to speak, which can result in the slicing and dicing of tree trunks, or (unfortunately) small critters if they get in Gwen's path when they're so upset. As they will be traveling with their mother, Ellie, who is stricken with an insatiable wanderlust, it's very likely that they will run into a Harpy, notice similarities and eventually be introduced to their mother and father. Gwen will not be pleased to hear that they were abandoned. Despite being raised to love and accept others, Gwen's rage will be unleashed and Shuckles may have to come to the understanding that had Gwen been raised with their mother, who could have taught them how to properly manage what they felt inside, that Gwen may have turned out "perfectly alright". Further family plots can be discussed, but it's safe to assume that it would be a bad idea for Gwen to be around their father for quite some time.

Brainwashing, Torture, Unbridled Rage, Violent PersonalityUsername: ABVirus Foal Name: Raja (m/f, though I'm just going to refer to them as he/him pronouns for now.) Will the basket come home?: Perhaps, if the circumstances are right. I definitely want Raja to meet his family sometime during his adulthood, though I doubt they know what will be coming for them. (Well, Shuckles may have hit this one on the head, actually.) ----------If so, how? If not, why not?: The basket will be Raja shall be named such by the one who found him, my cursed bearwalker, Obelus. She has long sought after a minion to call her own and will steal his basket back to her cave. She will not feel any affection for the basket nor what is inside of it, seeing Raja more as a tool to be used for her plans. If he pops from the basket looking undaunting and naive, she will use him as a lure for prey. If he has any traits she sees as strong, she will turn him into a killer, much like herself. What she will find in the basket is a creature with potential to be stronger, perhaps, than she is. It will both frighten and compel her to turn him to her side. She will warp his mind until he is undying loyal to her and then she will release him onto the world with the notion of returning to her every full moon with a sacrifice to her glory. He will do so, for while he does not know love, he feels a devotion and respect to the mare that raised him when others were vile enough (worse even than he, who takes the lives of others to please his "mother") to leave a basket on its own. I should like for him to find either his parents on one of his outings. If it is his father he finds first, I daresay Shuckles will have the right to say he was totally right, there was a monster in that basket and so there (though perhaps not entirely right, for the monster bit only came with who found him.) If it is his mother that he finds, he could find some conflicting plots, for he already has a "mother" who he serves most loyally, but something deeper than bloodlust is pulling him towards this mare who looks similar to him. Upon further family plotting, we could discuss if he remains loyal to his first mother, or whether he reacts positively to love and acceptance from his biological mother and what happens to him then.

Illegal Activities, No Truly Harmful TriggersUsername: Bluedemonwolf Foal Name: Jedidiah (male), Jedidah (female) ((I'm going to use male pronouns for now)) Will the basket come home?: Eventually he'll make it home. Most likely when he's a young adult or adult. ----------If so, how? If not, why not?: The basket will ended up being found by my dino mini Poecile Cheeseburger. Poecile works for the Nightreach Refuge herd/gang lead by Jeremiah (owned by Ryuu, who is down with this whole plottage). He'll take the basket to Jeremiah who decides to let his sister, Delilah, raise for the most part. As Jedidiah grows older Jeremiah will take a more active part in raising the foal but really he's grooming Jedidiah to become part of his gang. Jedidiah will start off as a simple member, helping keep tabs on Delilah. Eventually he'll start getting jobs doing some muscle work, helping out the gang wherever needed which isn't always legal dealings. However he's more likely to screw these simple jobs up due to his more hotheaded, take action nature. It'll take time for him to become more of what Jeremiah needs and for him to not be so hotheaded and argumentative. Once he becomes an adult he'll start to realize that the best course of action isn't always to fight, argue, or just jump right in. Sometimes it's best to sit back, gather intel, not be noticed. He'll set his sights on becoming one of the 'birds' (spies) of the gang. At some point during this he'll either meet one of his siblings and learn of the family he never knew or hear some rumor and take it back to Jeremiah. Jeremiah wouldn't be opposed to Jedidiah going to find his family once he finds out that his mother was part of the Flock and is a Harpy. It never hurts to get intel on such a group, especially if the gang gets a commission to rescue an abducted stallion. He wouldn't be likely to stay with his family forever as he feels he owes Jeremiah a debt he has to pay so he'll go back to the Nightreach Refuge herd. But he is likely to visit from time to time.

Implied violence, stockholm syndromeUsername: Teh Cheryl Foal Name: Aon (standing for "Apropos of nothing") Will the basket come home?: No, at least not knowingly ----------If so, how? If not, why not?: Aon's basket was never found. Instead, it sat unknowingly to all who passed by until Aon, finally too hungry and too impatient, poked his head out only to be met with...nothing. He spent the first hours of exploring the new world crying out to someone, anyone, as hunger slowly ate away at him. Luckily, or perhaps, unluckily, someone did stumble upon the weak, newborn foal. Mercy, a cursed walker of little morals, had stumbled upon the crying foal and was struck with an idea. He could kill the pitiful thing, if he so wished, but killing something so weak was boring, dull. Instead, he could make the thing useful. And so Mercy took the foal under his wing, keeping it fed and watered and giving it just enough affection to make it stay even when it could run. Aon, a name the foal eventually chose for himself for Mercy didn't care to name it himself, was eventually used as bait. Mercy was a hunter, a lover to the chase and the psychological m

Depression? Lonliness? Potential Violence?Username: ~Twilight...Angel~ Foal Name: Remény - Hungarian for Hope (Male) | Édesem - Hungarian for Sweetheart (Female) The basic plots will stay the same, though anything that is going to be one or the other is labelled as suchWill the basket come home?: The basket will not, but either as a foal or an adult, they will end up with the flock again. Perhaps to find their mother, or even run into their father on the edge of the territory. ----------If so, how? If not, why not?: Male Personality: Remény will be rather kind and gentle, though will have deep seeded feelings of lonliness. He doesn't understand why his mother, Aranyszívű, is able to feel so free and do what she likes. This feeling isn't something he can seem to relate to. He feels trapped within himself, like there is some larger part of something missing from him. Perhaps something that will help him fill in why he feels so much more superior to his mother and his sister, Lillith. These thoughts often lead him to day dream of simply getting rid of them. These thoughts and feelings scare him. Remény will be able to keep them under control and leave them because of them. When he does leave, they will be at their peak. Though this mean superior streak also means he tries not to get too close to others. If you make him angry though, speak out of turn too many times, he will make you sorry. Though you won't be sorry for too long... Female Personality: Édesem is a sweetheart, just as her name says. She is calm and gentle, enjoying taking life for everything it is! The happiness inside of her simply can't be contained. It's an interesting thing for someone to be so happy, but so empty inside. She has a fire inside of her which allows her to persue everything and anything that she wants to. This fire can not be stopped by anything in the world. If she wants it, she will obtain it! Though no one should stand too close to her, the flames of her passion could very well burn them in. Leaving them as ash in her wake. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Another Foundling: This has happened before, and happens again. Aranyszívű finds an abandonded basket on her travels and decides to take it in. Lillith tells her to be careful, but Aran isn't the best listener sometimes. Loving Parent: Again Aranyszívű intends to instill a feeling of want and freedom into her young foundling. This is difficult for the little one to understand. They simply feel lost... Deep Feelings: (Male Plot Only) Remény isn't sure why, but he feels... different. As he watches his mother frolic and try to get him to join in, he simply feels disgust. He didn't hate her, or he didn't think he did anyway... (Female Plot Only) Édesem enjoys running free with her mother. It's truly a wonderful feeling, but something is still missing. Something deep inside of her is telling her this mare is lying... She will find out the truth. Origins: They finally know the truth of where they belong. Of why they look nothing like Lillith or who they have come to know as their mother, Aranyszívű. This information makes them feel... alone. Leaving: (Male Plot Only) Remény can no longer stay with his adoptive family. Since finding out who he really is, his feelings of disgust and superiority have become stronger. He must leave before he does something he regret.s (Female Plot Only) Édesem now knows the truth. She is releaved that it's not as bad as she thought it was, but it means that this empty feeling inside needs to be filled. She decides to leave her family to find out who she really is. Taking out Anger: (Male Plot Only) Remény comes to a small herd of forest dwellers soon after leaving the one he called mother. These... things... keep trying to talk to him. Keep trying to get closer to him. He really can't stand it. As one in particular tries to get closer to him, he shows his true colors... Taken in: (Female Plot Only) Édesem comes to find a rather large herd of all kinds of different Soquili. She finds them all interesting and tries to learn all she can. She even learns a bit about who she might be. The first break in filling in the hole in her heart! Where I Belong: (Male Plot Only) Remény finds it. Finds the Flock. The herd where he heard his mother came from. Though he doesn't know where his father is, he doesn't care. Clearly the only part that matters is the Flock. Heading into this herd, he will find out what he wants and take down anyone who says otherwise. (Female Plot Only) Édesem is happy to finally find out a piece of who she is! Though she isn't used to ending up with such powerful beings, she is interested in seeing how the Flock is on the inside. And seeing if she can find her mother and father. If anything else the one should know where the other is. Ice Cold: This plot involves Shelke, another member of the Flock. She is vicious and will exact whatever she deems fit on whomever she deems fit. For the new Flock member, she will have no problem taking them down a peg. (Naturally this would be assuming that they are part of the same branch of the Flock) (Male Plot Only) Remény has never met one who is so vicious with him in return. He really isn't sure how to take it, though he does try to fight back. Being no match for Shelke though, he is slowly broken and she takes him in. She grows to have a bit of fondness for him, but has no problem taking anything out on him. (Female Plot Only) Édesem has never encountered one so cold. Shelke seemed to take a bit of an interest in her, but has no intention of going out of her way to give her what she wants. Though the mare is cold to her, she is kind enough. Giving her anything she could want... Finally...: (Male Plot Only) Remény has finally done it. He finally found who it was who made him. Found his mother. He isn't sure what to think of her though. And he's not even sure if she knows who he is. Though he is sure all of his vicious and uncaring feelings came from her. The beast who made another beast... He needed to find out why. He needed to find out what she thought. Nothing would stop him now... (Female Plot Only) Édesem was beyond excited to finally meet her mother! There was nothing that she could possibly do to contain her excitement. She wiggled with all of her feelings when she finally came to meet her. When she was finally face to face with her. And she was finally able to ask her about who she was and where she came from...

Zero triggers hereUsername: FrostyPeaches Foal Name: if female ( Kateschka ), if male ( Vydis ); will use the word "he/his" to keep things easier to read Will the basket come home?: He will find his home and may at times leave , and then go back due to having lived most of his young life with Masaki ----------If so, how? If not, why not?: Masaki would be the one to have stumbled upon the basket being the nomadic type, ever always wandering and exploring new grounds and witnessing territories of many herds and packs. Masaki still strives to find his own kind some day but without any trails or clues to be found, it was near impossible to find what he is currently looking for. Yet, the Amargasaurus' heart is still carefree and untroubled about the fact that he may be the last of his species on earth. When the basket pops open, he and Masaki would have a surprising encounter neither knowing who the other are and what they are like. He would want to eat meat once in a while while Masaki detests the taste of raw meat. Over time while having adapted to Masaki's way of living, and grown to a young foal, he would find his family ( either one at a time, in two's or three's, or all at once ) but would greet them from afar, not knowing if they will accept him back for being away for so long. Once accepted, or if accepted, he would feel the ache of being independent like Masaki had always been, and yearns for 'freedom' to travel on his own and carve out his own future instead of staying with the family and his siblings. On the other hand, his mom's harpy blood runs rich in him and the need to stay and protect his family always lingered on his mind. To be able to grow and become who he is meant to be depends on how the flock sees Masaki as. If they deem him as prey or predator, Kateschka's/Vydis' view of his own life will reflect on their actions. Sadly, what the father thinks of Masaki is rather trivial to the foal. ( i am open to any additional plots, thanks for having this contest. )

Hallucinations? Username: Jackariah Beckett Foal Name:Kircsena. Nickname for boy will be Kirk *So many ;D*. And for a girl the nickname will be Sena<3. Will the basket come home?: Yes! But he will have mixed feelings about it ----------If so, how? If not, why not?: Tom is worried that his influence over the foal/young adult has been a bad impact. So he takes him to the closest collony he can find to ask if they can watch over him till he is not so suggestible. And that just happens to be The Harpies ='D! Some back story: Okay, so my pony Tomtubrus Taccardi will find the basket opening and realize it is alone. He is a loner, not heartless, so he decides to take the foal and travel with him till he can find someone suitable to raise the youngon. Will on this journay, he grows very attached to the foal. He tells him stories at night as theyy rest before bed. He trains him in fighting during the day on breaks from their travels. Or so he tries. Kirk is not the most agile of ponies. He tries to be brave like his Idol Tom. But as soon as he sees a hoof or weapon come at him, he tucks his tail and runs to hide in a bush till he can stop hyperventilating. He is fine watching Tom do his practice stance and moves, but as soon as it comes to sparing, he has no spine for it. He has watched Tom so much that he knows the moves by heart. Some, he can even mimic and it makes Tom so proud. Lately though, the stories Tom tells him late at night about the land Tom used to live in has given him nightmares and even convinced himself he sees the little evil minions Tom says he is running from. This concerns Tom greatly, and even though he has his doubts Kirk has seen them, he takes action to move the foal swiftly. Kirk has been with Tom for many months now and has grown very fond of him. When Tom tells him he will be leaving him with some ponies who can keep him safe till the minions from his old kingdom no longer chase him, he does not take it well. Kirk meets with the ponies Tom says will be caring for him and learns it is actually his mother. He is glad to see his mother, but when he learns Tom has left in the night, he runs into the woods to try and find him. In the night he gets scared and ends up hiding in a bush till his mother finds him and takes him back to the camp. He vows to himself that as soon as he has a spine, he will find his idol and free him from his forced traveling. With the harpie clan, Kirk will learn to control his fear and even how to use it against his enemies. If he seeks others fears, he can use it against them and not even have to fight.

AND THE WINNER IS... You didn't make it easy on us, but in the end we loved how much plotting potential and drama you included in your entry! We also loved that you included the Flock so much in your entry, and really made that a part of you plans. We also have some honorable mentions though! You were part of what made this choice so hard! We loved both of your plots for some very different reasons, so we wanted to give you the chance to plot with us some other time by allowing you to mockbreed and custom into the family! Thank you to everyone who entered!
