"But the wait was worth it," Myrrha wasn't lying. Having been now to two different locations in space and also to the Rift had opened her eyes to at least what her side seemed to be fighting for. Myrrha had been thinking about what the fight meant to her during the period of time that Scylla had been incommunicado. In a way having someone who had been fighting for much longer than she had was refreshing. It meant that she could possibly look to the older senshi for future guidance if it was offered. Leaning back and using her elbows to recline enough to look at the sky above Myrrha knew that as pleasant as it was to be on Scylla that there were things that needed to be done once she returned to Earth.
Her gaze was thoughtful as she quietly studied the terrain. Myrrha was hesitant to put her next question out but slowly she gathered the courage to ask, "I know it says that we need to keep our civilian identities safe from listening ears but is it wrong for others of order to know, especially if trust has been established?"
Infinities tag. small one, but it's something. Myrrha believes she can trust Scylla with her civilian identity

But it was worth the wait. Scylla's shoulders relaxed, and she gave the other senshi a pleased smile. "I'm glad you think so. I- I like being able to bring people here. Less crowds than a public beach, for sure. And beautiful in night or day." she looked out to the glowing pillar of coral, almost pulsing in the darkness, and back to the temple that hovered behind them. Would the next Scylla appreciate this world, if Jada died fighting tonight? Or any night? Would it be half-dead when her successor found it?
She puffed, running her hand through thick curls. "I'm the only listening ears here, and I'm always willing to make new friends. It's not uncommon, just... be careful? Desperate people do unfortunate things." Ice had sold out a senshi- no idea if he had known who they were or if they had just been around, trusting. "Make sure you know them. Your identity isn't just a secret. It's your life."
She hadn't been as careful, once, but now... she had lost friends, and had more to protect,

There was something just underneath Scylla's warning that made the senshi of scents pause in her thinking. It would be nice to know at least one person in her civilian form wouldn't it? Her eyes closed as she breathed in the air and perused her options. Risk vs reward, it seemed as if that is what it came down to at the end of the day. So far besides the occasional rare chance meeting Myrrha had been figuring things out by trial and error on her own. It hadn't always worked out. She wanted to branch out in her contacts. It wasn't easy doing things on her own anymore.
"I will heed your warning. Thank you,"
Myrrha observed the older senshi carefully before getting to her feet. Her fuku was drying quickly and she shed the towel that she'd absently been rubbing against her arms. There seemed to be something weighing her down and even with the warning from Scylla it was not suppressing her desire that Scylla know who she was as a civilian. "I guess that two encounters would not be enough to determine whether or not one is trustworthy but you've helped me out more than you know Scylla. You've kept your word to bring me here and perhaps help me get over the fear of visiting my own asteroid. I'm forever grateful for the conversation we had when we first met too. At the time I don't think I realized how much I needed to chat with someone who has been doing this for a long time."
She drew in a large breath and let it out slowly. Was she ready to take the risk? "Are you alright with knowing my civilian identity?"
Infinities I am thinking that this rp took place before the battle for Scholomance happened. IE: Jada's thoughts on possibly dying? Next tag Myrrha will tell Scylla her identity if Scylla wants to know it

You've helped me out more than you know Scylla. The words hit the senshi of the Kraken like a punch, and the woman wondered if she would ever have the chance to tell Myrrha how much they mattered to her, in this moment; if she ever should. She had always lived this powered life wondering if the actions that she took made an impact. Able to see causes down the line, but not able to see the positives.
Having someone spell it out for her was a boon, and in the darkness, her bright eyes moist. "I'm glad I-" her voice caught, and she coughed, trying to cover the emotion. "I'm glad I could help." she licked her lips, sucking in a breath. Fortitude- she gave it to others, maybe she could keep some for herself. "I like doing that" she said after a moment, "Help others? Maybe outside of the tentacle thing there's something more I can do for everyone."
Pushing to her feet, Scylla brushed her hands off on her skirt. "It would be my honor to know you, Myrrha."
tefla It is! That's why she said they didn't have long and she apologized. =) She's about to go off to her potential demise~

Hearing that Scylla would be honored to know who she really was put Myrrha a little bit more at ease. It wasn't strange at all that through all of this little adventure that she wound up entrusting something this information to Scylla. It seemed as if she really trusted the eternal senshi to keep her promise. She had briefly seen the emotion in Scylla's eyes and decided to instead be touched that she had been able to let the older senshi know exactly how she felt.
Closing her eyes Myrrha debated powering down for the reveal but was still unsure if that was even going to work so instead she relaxed her stance and held out her hand to Scylla as if greeting her for the first time. In a sense she was going to though. "So you have known me only as Sailor Myrrha, the Senshi of Scents but you may also know me as Rayna."
Infinities short.debated with last name and decided to omit it for now.

Her smile in the darkness was tremulous, and one delicate hand was extended to Rayna, clasping the other woman's. "Hello Rayna. A pleasure to meet you. I'm Jada. I'd power down to greet you properly, but we'd get kicked off-planet, and-" she gave a shrug, a small snort of laughter. "That wouldn't be any fun." That, and she had places to be in... not long enough. She swallowed, tamping down on her nerves. "I'm sure you can forgive me the improper introduction, right?" another soft huff of laughter.
It was a pretty name, one which... went well with her, Jada decided. And it was one she'd never speak on Earth, unless they were two civilians face to face. Even when you couldn't sense an aura, you could never know who was listening. "Thank you, Rayna. For trusting me."

Committing a name to memory took little time at all and Myrrha was sure that Jada's name was not one that she would forget anytime soon. In the time since they'd first met until now Myrrha was surprised to find that it was Scylla who had been more like a mentor to her than anyone else. Maia had helped that one time in the park but this, being brought to another planet was simply the icing on the cake. Myrrha perked up at hearing the little tidbit about powering down while on one's homeworld. That sounded like an interesting theory to try another day. Perhaps once she got used to her own world she would see what happened when it was done.
"The lack of a proper introduction is forgiven. I'm pretty sure mine wasn't anymore spectacular. And you are welcome. I feel I owe you the same thanks."
Myrrha glanced around, committing the sights of the Scyllan homeworld to her memory. It seemed strange, alien-like, and yet there was beauty underneath everything. Closing her eyes she breathed in the air, tinted with brine from the ocean at her back. "I feel like I'm repeating myself constantly with mentioning how thankful I am to you."
The teen wasn't sure if one should hug in a show of gratitude or if it would be welcome but Myrrha really needed to drive the point home. Biting her lip she approached Scylla and hoped her next move wouldn't be too intrusive. The hug itself was quick but truly a heartfelt one, "thanks again," was whispered quietly along with the gesture.

The other senshi leaning in and hugging her was unexpected, but not unpleasant. Scylla stiffened in surprise for only a moment, before relaxing slightly and returning the embrace. "It really has been my pleasure," she promised. "I'm sorry we couldn't stay longer, but I have some other promises to keep tonight too."
She closed her eyes for a moment, the short, dark-haired senshi enjoying an embrace before pulling back. "Go to your planet, when you can. It might be scary, but it is yours. And if..." she swallowed, smiled. "When we meet again, if you want me to go with you, I will." It was a promise easily made- and genuinely meant.
"Do you have everything you need, Rayna? Ready to go home?"

Hearing Scylla's advice that her planet might be scary but it was hers managed to bolster her spirits a little bit. The fact that there was a place in the galaxy where she belonged, besides on Earth, was hard to believe. Myrrha stood and glanced around at the Scyllan shoreline before catching what was being asked of her.
She grabbed her towel and bag and picked up her phone before making sure she didn't leave anything behind. "I think I am ready, Jada. And I think that one day I will have to bring you to my planet. One day for sure."
With that she waited to see what needed to be done to return to Earth.

Myrrha let go, and Jada found herself missing the contact of human touch, but she steeled herself. She would need to be at her best for tonight, not... anxious. Myrrha's words and her kindness... helped. If nothing else, she had made some small impact for the better, while she was feeling... down.
"I look forward to going," she assured Myrrha with a smile, and reached out to take the other woman's hand. "When we go back, it will be to where we left from. If you want an escort to your car, or anything, let me know."
She waited for an answer before reaching out to go home. That was easier than going to her homeworld; the magic provided, and just like going to Scylla, they returned, between one breath and the next.

Myrrha inhaled deeply of the Scyllan air one last time before she turned around in a quick circle. The landscape was totally alien, and yet Myrrha found that she could appreciate it. There was no smell of pollution in the air, it was warmer here which was a plus and she was here with a friend. "I think I'll be okay. If anything once I get to street level I'll power down. I think somewhere nearby there is a cup of tea or cocoa waiting for me. I bet that if anything I'm going to need it once we return."
Chuckling Myrrha felt her hand gripped by Scylla and this time kept her eyes open during the trip back. It was only moments later that the sharp contrast between humid heat and biting cold was felt and Myrrha shivered before digging her coat back out of her bag. Shrugging the coat on over her senshi uniform wasn't tricky but the sooner she could power down, the better. There was a lot of information that was shared today and now that a home world trip, not her own, had been experienced the Scents Senshi thought maybe it was time.
Thinking about her home Rayna checked the time and realized that she would still have time to enjoy a warm beverage before maybe a short patrol. More than likely though she would just head home afterwards. Deciding on a whim the teen took a moment and powered down with no warning. Moments later she stood in front of Scylla as her civilian self and gave a tentative smile. "I wanted you to see the real me, at least once. I am still okay to get down to the street if you have somewhere you need to be Scylla."
The out she was giving to the older woman was genuine. If there was something else that Scylla needed to attend to Rayna would not take anymore of her time up for the evening. If needed, she would power back up just to get down to the ground but most of the buildings had fire escapes and ladders where a non-issue for Rayna.
Infinities I'm thinking that this could be my last post in the rp. Wanted Jada/Scylla to see Rayna as her civilian self. And Scylla does have something that needs to be done...

Oh, it was bitingly cold. Her hand tightened briefly on the other woman's in response to the chill before she let go, freeing the other senshi to dig her coat out of her bag.
The trust in Rayna powering down in front of her, even with a name, was overwhelming, and Scylla gave her a tremulous smile. "I can help you down to the street," she said with a grin, "I have time to do that much." and so she did, making sure that the other woman was down at street level without injury before she prepared to move on. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Rayna. Hopefully I'll see you again soon."
And now she had to go help another friend. Swallowing, Scylla returned to the rooftops, moving in the direction she needed to go.
