"Did you forget the cat," Onnie breathed, with dawning horror; and then shook her head rapidly, pigtails fluttering back-and-forth. "Etoile's a cat, she'll be fine. Cats are always fine, it's okay. But I'm not gonna punch anyone. You'll have to do all the punching." Magic didn't count as punching, right? Absolutely not. Definitely not.
"So, um." She pointed around the corner, to where the auras were, to where the sounds of battle were. "...you first?"

Chibi Super Oort
The sudden bloom of auras had been kind of hard to miss, especially given that fact that several of them felt strong..
Felt really, really strong.
So he had gone to check it out - because the number of auras suggested that something bad was up-
Something really bad.
He had came across Tomlin as he was making his way up the road passing by the post office and had made a beeline for the ginger star-cat, a shriek from further up suggesting that he was close - very close.
"Let me know if you want me to use my magic on you Tomlin" he said quietly, a part of Oort glad of the star-cat's company as he made his way closer.
Not that he'd ever admit to it - at least not out loud.

"I didn't forget her," Lepus insisted, because how did you forget a cat when it had been right there with them, "but she's not... She was with us and now she isn't."
But maybe Onnie was right and Etoile was fine. Cats like her were magical, so Etoi could just... do some magic if anyone tried to hurt her, right? And maybe another senshi would find her and bring her to them. Glancing around the corner, where Onnie pointed, Lepus made a decision.
"Okay, I'll go first, but stick close to me," she informed her friend, before heading in.

Tomlin, Guardian Cat
Tomlin didn’t pay a great deal of attention to the cat-phone that some of the big brains down at HQ had put together, but when the distress signal alarm went off, he was all ears. He raced across town as fast as four paws could get him, slowing down only when his own senses began to show him the scope of the emergency, chaotic auras pinging all over the area. He counted four nearby, at least, and a good deal more further away from his position. He sensed Order, too, the senshi already converging, faster than he could. But something worried him about some of those energy signatures. Either he was judging their distance wrong, or they were… smaller, for all their brightness. Chibis, he concluded, after a moment’s concentration, and his tail beginning to swish.
A bright light flashed somewhere on top of the buildings, and his ears flattened as a high-pitched shriek rang out.
When he looked around again, casing the post office building for the best way up, he spotted a familiar face heading his way. A little of the tension left the ginger cat’s form, leaving him merely alert as he waited for his Super Senshi friend to join him.
“Good thinking,” he said softly, when Oort was close enough to hear him. “Maybe save it till we know what we’re up against. The fight’s up there,” he nodded towards where the lightshow had come from, “but they’re not the only enemies about.”
Leifite limped into the area, taking care to take the long way around (avoiding the Verizon wireless) and found a nice, quiet corner to linger in instead of reengaging with those of order in the area. Her hip burned something fierce and throbbed every time she moved.
She needed time to breath, and stop weezing. Whether or not she got it... well...
Maybe the kid and the cat near her would leave her alone. Maybe... maybe not.

Chibi Super Oort
"'Kay" Oort said with a nod as, reddish eyes turned to look up in the direction thatTomlinwas indicating and then nodded again because he had seen the flare of light that had suddenly and briefly lit up the sky too.
Either way he knew that they had to be going, because 'up there' wasn't right here, although he didn't make a move to scoop up the ginger star-cat because Oort knew that Tomlin didn't like being picked up.
He'd be willing to do so - if the other wanted a lift - but only if asked, instead planning to keep his pace to one that his star cat friend could keep pace with.
A sound of nearby wheezing had him turning, reddish eyes taking in the nearby Lieutenant (Leifite) as his expression took on a serious cast...
Because it looked like one of mentioned enemies had found them, even if she looked kind of wheezy and out of breath for an enemy.

Glass exploded into the Verizon building as Faust hurled through a window. Display phones stood as witness to the projectile feline, and he shot past them to land behind the Customer Service counter with a resounding thump. The cat grunted, feet sore and stinging from impact, but he looked no worse for wear considering his trip through a window.
He scampered quickly toward the broken window, caring little that a charging cord wrapped around his leg and a particularly sticky cell phone case lodged itself in his fur. Faust leapt back through the window and started up the series of leaps to reach the roof. There, he'd be able to spot Blondie and the remaining Negaverse agents in the area.
And Faust's choice of overlooks proved fairly effective, as he looked out toward the lieutenant surrounded by a shitload of chibi senshi. That one looked locked down and under control -
And in his periphery, he noticed Blondie heading in his direction. "The hell you doin'," Faust muttered to himself. "We ain't on ********' vacation." He needed to get back to the other buildings and beat the s**t out of the captain who launched him out this way.

Tomlin, Guardian Cat
If the lieutenant thought they could sneak up on a cat, they were out of luck. Tomlin turned copper-golden eyes towards the newcomer who lurked at the corner. Even if the aura hadn’t given her away, her ragged breathing was easily audible to his sharp feline ears. Oort noticed her too, and Tomlin stepped up to flank the young senshi, a united front against whatever the agent thought she was going to try.
But actually getting a good look at her, the ginger cat’s expression softened slightly. The lieutenant looked shaken, and while he wouldn’t make the mistake of considering her harmless, it did put a new cast on the situation.
“You all right, there?” he asked, ready to fight but not yet willing to. “Bit late to post a letter.”
Across the road, the sounds of smashing glass echoed. The battle was intensifying – or moving closer to their position. Not good.
As he made his way north, Sinope decided this place was more like it. Lots of chibis, a few cats, some lieutenants...he could handle this. It was less exciting, but at least he was less-likely to be caught up in the fights of all the weaker level powered beings. Anyway, he didn't have to limit his voyeurism to these battles - it just served as a relatively safer place to watch the main battles from.
Maybe if he got a high enough vantage point from a building somewhere, he could still see some of the more intense action taking place beyond the sector of offices. He could just hang around the 'kiddie pool' so he could observe the on-goings of the adults from a relatively safe place without drawing attention or attacks to himself. With this in mind, Sinope proceeded to locate the tallest tree or building he could see in the general vicinity and attempted to start scaling it in the hopes of getting his better view.

((Anyone and everyone is welcome to interact with this lone spectator, by the way~ Otherwise he's just gonna watch and maybe throw in a bit of his magic to mess with others' fights for fun every now and then.))

Thraen, Eternal Senshi of Gardens
The blow had made up the differences of size and speed of a cat body with trajectory. Glass wrenched his heart. Glass could be deadly, or it could be no more than an evening of comb-sifting to ensure no splinters.
Faust emerged as Thraen landed, and made his way up mostly hale and hardy. With a technological hitchhiker. The eternal senshi reached to pick it off his fur. "The epicenter of sound is over there."
He pointed across their vantage. The chibi senshi seemed to be doing very well, though he didn't recognize them at a single glance. Only that they were different in feel and stature. "We should at least try to stick to the same field. That way?"
I can't lose you.

Corrupt Sailor Hydra
Late.
Hydra was late to the party, much to her frustration. Even more so, when she realized that the area in which she'd been placed was full of people she didn't recognize. That, unfortunately, was inevitable considering the small group of people that the corrupt knew.
Still, she had managed to climb her way to the top of the Law company's building just so she could get a view on what was going on. Jade eye flickered across the various figures she managed to see as she scooted closer to the edge of the roof, heartbeat wild in her chest.
Oh, she didn't know if she was ready for this but...there was a group gathered around the post office that she felt like maybe she could handle.
She could do this.
She could make Obsidian proud, she just needed to decide where to start.

Sinope; DMS of Slyness
From the office rooftop he'd perched himself cross-legged upon right at the street corner adjacent to the action, Sinope was happy to watch the chaos unfold. At one point there was a light so bright he had to look away, but that only brought his attention back to what was going on in his general area.
A green-eyed, teal-haired girl had appeared whom he didn't recall seeing during his quick scan of the area before. She wasn't a chibi, but she wasn't quite the level of a super senshi or a Negaverse captain, either. This black-wearing sailor scout with the cracked, black holes in her chest and on her forehead made her way up onto the rooftops presumably for the same reason he had - to gain a better vantage point. But suddenly, Sinope wanted to play with her. After meeting the super and eternal corrupt senshi from the previous area, this one seemed a lot safer to try to get closer to.
"Hey," he said, getting to his feet so he could properly face her with a grin. "Having fun yet?"
Sly Secret Steal: Sinope locks eyes with his target on the battlefield and casts them a knowing grin.
Causes the target to be seized by the unshakable feeling that Sinope knows something about them they really don't want him to know (whether or not he actually knows it)
The player of the target can interpret as they see fit what their character thinks Sinope knows. Sinope does not necessarily know whatever it is, but his attack causes his target to think he does, which serves as an unnerving distraction during battle.
Quartz liked none of where any of this was going. His vantage high on one of the tall rooftops had offered him an unpleasant view of Schörl's dark doings down below -- and while his area had been relatively quiet, with only a few weak targets being addressed by some of the other agents nearby, he glanced over at his lieutenant, Idrialite, the next rooftop over, and frowned before looking away again.
They were going to corrupt this boy. They were playing a high-stakes cat and mouse of it, but it was clear what was happening, all the same. Schörl would call Laurelite (maybe not Laurelite, he told himself, but in his mind he pictured her, all the same), and she'd pour Metallia's bile into his chest and he'd be another new puppet to be played with and reshaped. And she'd find some way to get even more out of these fools here, in the bargain. It was Schörl. Schörl could always be counted upon to find some way to turn a win into an absolute rout.
He shivered, trying to clear his head -- wishing for a drink, something very clear and sharp. Vodka, maybe.
The sound of shattering glass nearby caught his attention -- and he paced the rooftop, following its source until he spotted it -- a Mauvian and an eternal, an actual adult and a real threat this time. He wouldn't be allowed to just ignore this one and let it slip through the cracks into Schörl's business.
From this height, most of what was visible looked like the eternal had had a midnight assignation in the temperature-controlled storage room of a florist's shop -- with long, bone-colored hair.
Quartz had a vague recollection of this entry in the Negaverse database.
Thraen. Vine magic. Combat training.
Quartz wanted absolutely no part of Thraen-vine-magic-combat-training.
Unfortunately, Quartz did not live a life where he had the option of failing to do his job.
Accordingly -- in a few ricochet jumps that slowed his descent -- he jumped down to the ground where the eternal and the Mauvian appeared to be collecting themselves to move on, putting himself in their path.
He swung his spear wide before bringing it forward -- the best way he could think of to broadcast an obviously telegraphed, slow and avoidable strike that might still look, from a distance, like he was putting some effort in.
"I don't want to do this," he said in a low voice that felt like gravel in his throat. "None of them should have to see this -- " Quartz nodded in the direction where the nearby chibi senshi were fighting, a block or two away. He held his spear in a defensive ward, two-handed. "Please go. Get them out of here."

Tyrus, Chaos Guardian Cat
There were screams, crying, and now the sound of shattering glass basically everywhere so Tyrus was running. And running is really, really not something the Guardian Cat did, ever in the history of ever. But alas- duty called so there he was. Running into battle to be the hero!
Cyllene would be proud of him -- wherever she was.
Figuring that the best way to see what exactly was going on and where at his size was by going up. Super duper really high up. Which, as a cat, wasn't particularly easy.... Sigh. Why was everything such hard work?! When he finally managed to scramble to the roof of the Law Offices, he let out a loud, exaggerated huff.
BUT THEN!! His eyes completely lit up when he saw a corrupt Senshi and, not understanding boundaries what-so-ever, he super casually strolled over to her and not-so-gracefully clambered onto her shoulder. All 20+ pounds of him. He peered down to see what she was looking at, his whiskers brushing against her cheek.
"Whatchya lookin' at?," he whispered, asking very seriously before being interrupted by a Dark Mirror Senshi.
TWO SENSHI IN ONE NIGHT?! Tyrus was having a great day.

Sinope; DMS of Slyness
Well, his magic didn't seem like it took, but that might have been because he'd forgotten to meet the girl's eyes when he tried to use it. She had been busy looking at the commotion across the street, after all. Sinope was just about to try again when yet another newcomer arrived on the roof in the form of a feline. What in the world...? What was it doing up here?
Hazel eyes following the creature, he raised his brows as the cat ambled over to the teal-haired corrupt senshi and tried to climb, with noted difficulty, onto her shoulder.
"What? There are chaos cats, too?" Sinope asked, surprised by the revelation. "How come no one ever told me that? I want a cat!"
