“I don’t know. Maybe? At least it shows initiative and that’s something I doubt anyone would look down on.” In a militaristic style group it should be commended if anything. “I guess i kind of equate it to something like Running Start or an Internship. Nothing more than getting your foot in the door right now, see if you like it, if not then try something else. As far as i’m aware, nothing is really set in stone; it shouldn’t be too difficult, I’d think, to get reassigned if things don’t work out.“
There was a lot about the Negaverse that Phedre didn’t know about but that was due to willful ignorance and the desire to just flirt with people as she drained them. It was all a game to her which is why she so casually flew under the radar. So long as she was meeting her quota what reason would anyone have to complain?
“Anywho, we could look into asking someone for more information on it later. For now let's just enjoy lunch and talk about something not related to work hmm?” She flashed her companion a smile before taking another bite of her curry.

Nothing was set in stone...that was true. That thought, those words, rung in her mind as she took in the rest of what the other said. They were words she couldn’t shake easily, there was a certain hope to be found in them. Things could turn around...things could get better. “I suppose you are right. We should also seek more information.” About everything, as she really did feel woefully uninformed. Maybe then she would feel like she fit in? Maybe not though...she was still a corrupted senshi. She still was looked down on by some, especially the youma.
The change in topic was good and she silently thanked the other for it, not wanting to voice how depressing it was to think of the Negaverse and where she stood in it. It honestly felt like she was standing in an empty room with darkness around her and nothing else…
“The food is good?” She asked the other, smiling as she watched the other nod her head appreciatively while she ate. The topic to change to, for now, was food. As she took a sip of her mango lassi and dug into her food with the gusto she normally ate with.
