Kinak was taken aback by the goat. He tossed his head and took a few steps back, almost pitching Tove forward. A low growl bubbled up from him.
"Nishka is Nishka. And you..." He was cut short by Tove pulling his beard with her teeth. "I'm sorry Ace. I have only heard about Nash from Kinak and I...did not know," she softly said bowing her head. Her wings drooped limply to her sides. She could feel her brother's anger begin to fade as fast as it bubbled up. She followed Ace with Kinak trailing behind. Her brother was on high alert, wither he was looking for Nash or something to toss at Ace she did not know. All she knew is that she felt she betrayed her lovemate scaring her so badly. And she felt horrible torn between her recently found family and her heart.

"I-what?" Savannah halted where she was walking and looked around, mystified. "O-Oh, so I am...Huh." Turning to the skinwalker, who was very odd indeed and not quite like the other, save for demonic appearances and the crudely maneuvered pelt that rested like a morbid trophy upon his back, she peered at him before nodding in an opposite direction. "There?" She glanced back at Nash and then sighed. "Alright then, you lead the way."
She turned to the other, watching him carefully and then noticed something curious. "What's that glittery thing? There on your paw?" She inquired, taking a cautious step forward to look down upon it more closely.Ace turned an irritated eye on the giant stallion, not put off by his size or for any other reason. "Now see here," She said, totally ready to go off on him again. "You are asking me for a favor. Maybe you're used to getting your way because you're such a big brute, but I will not have anyone sass-mouthing me or bullying me because they think they can push me around! Now, if you want me to take you anywhere, you're going to have to act a little more humble, Mr. Mountain Sir, or else I'm taking her," She inclined her head towards Tove. "And you can stay here and wait for us all to return." She snorted and waited. "Tell me that you're sorry and agree to apologize to Savannah when we see her and then you may come with us."

A huge smirk crossed Kinak's features. He lowered his muzzle and took a deep breath scenting Nash. He began to walk following Nash's trail.
"I can track my Nishka," he smugly replied looking back to shoot the goat a rude expression. Tove held him back with the most disappointed expression the stallion had seen.
"Sister? What is wrong?" he muttered. "Rockhead!" Tove shouted, "If you were clear on what Nash was then Savannah would not have run! And you are still being such a..a..jackass!" She shoulder checked Kinak as she stomped past him, the stallion slack jawed with shock.
"Come on Ace. My brother needs some time to himself it looks like," she snipped with her deer tail high in the air mirroring the goat's. Behind her kinak awkwardly sat, his head tilted to the side in confusion. His sister suddenly was angry with him. And he watched her leave. He would follow, but in a moment. Where Tove had run into Kinak, a small dusky bruise began to form.

Nash nodded at her instruction for him to lead, quickly heading off in the right direction this time. He was glad that she seemed to be ... somewhat trusting him now? Obviously, he was going to have to prove to her somehow that he wasn't some kind of evil killer. But that shouldn't be too hard, right? Since he really ... wasn't.
He paused at her question and stared down at his paws before realizing what she was talking about. "Oh. This thing?" he asked, poking the jewel with his other front paw. "Not sure! It's been there as long as I can remember, and it doesn't come off." He demonstrated by trying to hook claws under the gem and pulling with absolutely no result.
Then he turned his head suddenly, ears pricking up. "I think the others are coming this way. Or at least two of them... I don't hear Kinak," he muttered, frowning slightly in confusion. Why wouldn't his mate be with them? He highly doubted that the goat could have done anything to hurt the giant stallion. And he didn't think that Kinak's own sister would or could do anything serious to him either. So...?

"Oh, he is just... just... INTOLERABLE!" Ace huffed and puffed through the forest. Surprisingly, she actually had a good idea where she was walking. "I can understand perfectly well why you chose to spend your time around anyone but him, Tove, dear." Ace added to Tove as they walked. "For he is a right proper bully who cares for none except his own and I WILL get my apologies, or so help me I'll headbutt him straight into a river!" She paused, perked her ears and then said in a more cheerful tone. "Oh, good! We've arrived!""Huh, okay." Was all Savannah said on the topic of the strange charm on the stallion's leg. With a shrug, she continued to follow him, stopping only when he did. Shortly after, she heard voices and leaped forward to greet them.
"Tove!" She cried when she saw her lovemate. "You're not dead! He didn't kill you!" She nuzzled her mate all over, simultaneously expressing her joy while also checking that she hadn't been injured in any way shape or form. When she pulled back, satisfied and looked the mare in the eye, she fell apart again, looking and sounding much like a guilty foal might. "I'm sowwy!" She balled. "I-I-I tried to be br-brave, but I didn't know there was gonna be a skinwalker involved and he looked so scary and skinwalkers are b-b-baaaaad and I didn't know what to do and I just got so scared and...Waaaaaaaah!" She draped her neck across her mate's and sniffled. "I won't run away again, I'll try my best to give him the benefit of the doubt, but, but..." She moved her head closer to Tove's ear and took on a conspirator's look. "But if that darn cat makes any move of aggression towards us, we're gone, o-okay?" She added, trying not to tremble too much at the thought."Well, gee, nice to see you too Savvy." Ace snorted as Savannah rushed by her. While her bonded was too preoccupied with her mate, Ace marched right up to the skinwalker in question.
"YOU!" She huffed. "Like, it or not, you're the cause for all of this! However, it seems, Savannah isn't running from you anymore, so I'll assume you've already apologized. Thank you for your decency." She bowed her head slightly and then raised it immediately, launching into a huffing puffing rant. "But your mate still needs to apologize for nearly pulverizing me and my bonded! Since he refuses to give me any heed, I need to ask this of you. He must learn that he can't bully others into getting his way all the time, just because he's a big larger than the rest of us!" Ace sighed. "I'm a reasonable goat, really. I can tolerate his choice in a mate. I can ignore the fact that every time Savannah so much as hears the word 'walker' she gets flighty. What I can't ignore is your mate being a bully! Maybe you tolerate it, my good sir, but I will not! You can't just let him kick around us little folk!" She said with a snort and went to stand behind him. "He is staying behind briefly to think about the rude things he said to me. I will either go fetch him, or assuming he can find us, he ought to apologize to me when he arrives." She turned to stare at the skinwalker. "If he doesn't apologize upon his arrival, I will give you a meaningful look and a nudge so you know to prompt him. This will be the thing that binds our two families together, I'm sure. So, are you in? Or do you want to cause more fuss than we've had today too?"

Kinak took a moment to stand, his acing joints creaking under his bulk. He glanced up at the clouds with a deep sigh. Scraping an unseen hoof against the ground he cursed colorfully in a tongue not known to these lands. Chuckling deeply he began to slowly follow the prints of the goat and his sister. "No matter what he is still my brother. We were separated as foals and he finally found me again. So there is no telling what he learned on his own all these years. I hope he does apologize, Ace. I am sorry for my part I have played in this mess as well," Tove muttered glancing back towards the way they came. But how did he find a skinwalker? It bothered Tove until a familiar dun female came into view.
Tove rushed to her side and snuggled her back careful that she did not scratch her with her antlers. When Savannah began to sob, she nervously pranced in place with her wings fluttering.
"You are brave," she muttered, "I did not know what Nash was. I have not seen my brother in years and this is partly my fault. Seems my family is all a bit strange." She glanced at Nash, her ears back. If Savannah deemed him unsafe she would go with her mate.

The cat stood back a bit from the emotional reunion going on between the two mares, a slight insulted/confused look crossing his face at the whole 'he didn't kill you' thing. He'd said he didn't kill people. Sheesh. Letting out a sigh to try and get rid of his frustration that she didn't believe him, Nash flicked his wings out and resettled them folded on his back - only to be assaulted by the goat. In this form, said familiar was actually just a bit bigger than him, and Nash backed up a little, eyes slightly wide.
He listened all the way through the other's tirade, blinking slightly at the torrent of words. So Kinak was a bully huh..? Yea okay. He'd known that already. He wasn't completely sure of his ability to get the other stallion to apologize for such behavior but he nodded anyway, sensing that any other response simply would not do for this goat.
"Okay okay, calm down. I'll try to get him to apologize," he finally said, sitting back on his haunches and holding his front paws up toward the other in a kind of 'please stop talking' motion. "And uh. For whatever it's worth, I'm sorry for scaring everyone too. But I honestly... have never heard of the term 'skinwalker' before. As far as I remember, I was never some evil creature, and ever since I ran into Kinak when I was really little, we ... haven't had much interaction with others."
He noticed Savannah and Tove looking at him and laid his ears back a little uncertainly, hoping that they didn't hate him now or something.

Kinak soon reappeared, plodding along at his slow pace. His eyes crinkled with a smile as he noticed Nash with the females and nobody was trying to kill each other. He glanced at the goat, trying his best not to make a rude face at her.
"Nishka you had me worried," the giant rumbled moving slowly past the girls to nuzzle the cat. He looked back, nodding towards Tove and Savannah.
"It is...true I did not warn about Nishka. But I did not know being what he is others see as bad. So I do apologize for what I feel I can. That includes...Ace? I did not mean to insult goat Ace." He was as sincere as he could be despite still reeling from all the information overload he was dealing with. "Thank you...brother," Tove breathed not leaving Savannah's side. She pressed against the other mare, her cold relishing in the mare's warmth.
belloblossom "Common" is not Kinak's first language so he seems choppy.

Ace was satisfied. She had been wary when the hulking mass of a stallion came bumbling through the bushes, but he apologized to the best of his ability and so she found it in her heart to forgive him. Though, she had the nagging suspicion that this was not the last time she would ask this brute to apologize to her.
"I accept your apology. Thank you." She replied with a sniff and then back up to look at the motley crew. "Well then, formal introductions, since that's what we came here to do in the first place." Clearing her throat, she began. "I am Ace, familiar of Savannah. I am a goat." As though that wasn't plain and obvious, but she thought to add it anyway, for one reason or another. The goat then went on to look at Savannah, prompting her to speak.Savannah would have been content to ignore the others and just stand and cuddle with her beloved, when she was addressed suddenly by very many and felt rather put on the spot. She tried to answer them in order. "Oh, yes, um. Thanks." She looked to Nash, still rather wary of him, but at least she wasn't running in blind terror anymore, right? At Ace's prompting, she went on. "So yeah... I'm Savannah. Ace is mine and, well, Tove is too." She said, pressing her nose against her mate's. "I belong to Tove, too. And I'm, well, I'm just a Soquili. Nothing really special about me. No wings or split hooves or what have you." She said with a one shouldered shrug, before looking to the others to see who would pick up the introduction next.

Kinak bowed his head slightly, his eyes lidded. As he looked back at the mares, ignoring the goat in a childish manner, he rumbled out, "I am Kinak. Tove is my sister. We were separated as children and I have been trying to track family down for a while with Nishka's help.I found what I looked for and I am happy she is happy." He looked very sincere by the way his face softened and his eyes warmed. At the same time he looked tired...very tired as if the weight of the trees were making him exhausted. He used his tiny antlers to relieve and itch on his shoulder, the hunting horn moving a bit with the motion. "I am happy you found me brother," Tove sighed, "And Nash it is nice that Kinak found someone to keep him....distracted." She watched him scratch himself with an equally tired expression. He was hiding the fact that he fought with a giant named Savva....that Savva relit his need to rid the lands of the soquili that dared claim themselves of giant blood. That, more than likely, Kinak had more blood on his hooves that Nash did with claws.

Figuring that he should continue with the formal introductions, Nash pawed at the ground a little. "And I'm Nash. Though I'm sure my name has been said enough that you probably know it by now..." His tail tip flicked back and forth a bit in a sort of amusement. He paused, glancing over at Kinak. "Nobody freak out," he muttered, and then shifted into his large horse-like form.
"Are you okay?" he asked his mate softly, moving closer to nuzzle at his neck with a quiet purr.

"Okay..." Savannah said after they had all introduced themselves. Now, what? She looked away when Nash and Kinak started nuzzling, somewhat nauseous by Nash's equine form. Averting her eyes, she stared into her own mate's eyes and smiled a little.
"So... Now what?" She asked. "I mean, we've all introduced ourselves, but, like, now what do we do?" She looked from her lovemate to Kinak, very briefly to Nash and then finally let her eyes rest upon her familiar Ace who had cleared her throat."Well, my nose has been quivering for a while now, and you know what that means, Savannah." Savannah indeed knew what that meant and smiled at her familiar. Ace went on. "Who would care for some truffles?"

Distracted from his mate by the 'now what' question, Nash looked back over toward Savannah and Ace. He thought about the question for a moment, but found himself coming up blank, and shrugged slightly. Then Ace made some kind of suggestion and Nash blinked a bit. "What... is a truffle?" he asked, sounding confused. The ares he and Kinak normally wandered apparently didn't have such things, or they didn't know what they looked like. "Is that food?"

Kinak's nose wrinkled as he draped his head across Nash's neck. He rumbled unsure of what was going on. With a heavy, cold snort, Kinak bumped Nash with his muzzle.
"What are truffle anyway?" the giant asked quietly. He pawed the ground nervously unsure of these...truffles. A small laugh escaped Tove. She pranced up behind Ace in a deerlike fashion. With a shake of her aura colored hide, she expelled nervousness from herself.
"They are an acquired taste brother. I have grown fond of them," Tove affectionately chuckled. Her little deer tail wagged in happiness that everyone was seeming to get along.

Ace sniffed haughtily. These poor, underprivileged Soquili didn't even know what a truffle was! Was it food, indeed. Scrunching up her nose and pressing it to the ground, she began to snuffle around for the delectable treats, while Savannah explained what they were to the group."Yes, they're food. They're mushrooms, actually. They're known for their earthy taste and unusual look, but they really are quite good. And they aren't like typical mushrooms either! They have a different texture and almost look like they're actually made out of charcoal, but I promise, they're really good." She turned her head to Tove and smiled at her dearest, remembering the first time that her mate had tried truffles. At first Savannah had been worried that they wouldn't be able to share that between the two of them, but soon enough, Tove began to request that Ace go search for them. This was something that Ace was more than happy to oblige her in, of course."I found them!" Ace announced from a few yards away. "Come and see!" Sure enough, when they others found her, they would find the amber goat looking quite proud at having dug up the roots of a tree and the truffles with them. There must've been nearly fifteen in total!
