Delia was glad that the tea Raevan had found humor in her little faux pas, but the snake was a little embarrassed. She became even more embarrassed when her playful banter was turned onto herself. "Uh well, I dunno, I guess, sort of?" she fumbled with her words. Though avoiding eye contact with Ethiriel was probably a silly notion, Cordelia did it anyway and muttered, "He probably doesn't feel the same way anyway..."
Determined to possibly move to a topic that was less burdensome on her cheeks, the smoke Frei decided to ask about Henry since she'd assumed Leo was her guardian up until a few moments ago. "So, what's Henry like?"

Sympathy washing over, the tea Raevan reached out and softly rested a hand on Cordelia's shoulder. While it was impossible to make direct eye contact, Ethiriel did her best to convey the thought. "You never know. He may be harboring secret feelings, himself." She then thought of Cesc, and the crease in her brow grew. "However, if he does not... then he is making a mistake passing up someone such as yourself."
In the end, she offered a mischievous grin -- or at least, as much of one as she could muster.
"Henry..." Ethiriel hummed, removing her hand from Cordelia's shoulder to idly rest a finger below her bottom lip. "Henry is quite nice. He works as a nurse at the hospital and he does take good care of me. I am quite lucky to have come into his care." While she did have some paranoia and hangups over the man, she did quite like him. "Perhaps you could meet him sometime. I know he would be excited to become acquainted with another Raevan."

A warm smile came over Cordelia's scaled features as she gave Ethiriel's hand a quick squeeze in gratitude. Even though it had been years since they'd last spoken to one another and a lot had certainly changed for the silver Sigel, it was good to know that some things hadn't and Ethiriel was still the kind Raevan she'd remembered. Returning the other's mischievous grin with a cocky one of her own, the Basilisk puffed her chest out a bit in pride. "I know right? I am pretty awesome."
"I couldn't imagine a nurse not taking good care of the people in his life, most especially his family." Of course Delia had no idea that Ethiriel was having issues with what it meant to have or be part of a family, but it didn't make her statement any less true. "I'd love to meet Henry. And you both can meet my grandfather Adrian as well. Here..." Juggling around her violin case, the snake pulled out her phone, "Can I get your phone number or email? That way we can set up a day and time to meet up."
It wasn't long after they'd exchanged contacts that Sammie had returned with Ethiriel's instrument. "All right miss, here you go. Good as new. Will there be anything else?"

With Delia's change in demeanor, Ethiriel smiled a little easier.
"But of course!" she said pleasantly, pulling out her phone to offer to the Basilisk. "I am sure that Henry would love to meet you, and I would love to meet your... grandfather."
As Sammie returned, Ethiriel glanced his way and nodded happily. "Thank you. I do believe that this is everything I had needed. I shall return another day." Delicately taking her own case, she offered a toothy smile to the man to return her attention to Cordelia, who she offered a smile to as well.
"If Henry were not waiting so patiently already, I would request a meeting now. However, I do believe we have somewhere to be, so sadly I must depart. It was certainly a pleasure meeting with you again, Delia; we shall have to do it again soon!"
Despite how strong the scent of smoke radiated from the Frei, Ethiriel offered a gentle hug before floating toward the door. Again, she smiled with a wave.

"Ditto. Thanks again Sammie." Giving the clerk a two fingered salute as a goodbye, Cordelia saw Ethiriel to the entrance.
Once there, the snake was surprised by the hug the other Raevan gave her, but quickly acclimated and returned the sentiment. As they drew apart, Delia grinned broadly and exclaimed, "Yeah, it was great seeing you again too Eth! And yes, we will definitely have to get together again soon."
After seeing Ethiriel off, Cordelia turned about and headed in the opposite direction with an air about her that said nothing could get her down at that moment.
