Kalanc looked hesitant, but he nodded. If no one was in real danger with the guns, then he'd be fine. The hybrid put a hand to his chest and let out a deep breath before grinning and nodding more firmly. "Yes. I think that'd be fine and it sounds... Exciting and nerve wracking."

Nerve wracking like all their eyes on him. He fidgeted a little before going to hide behind his massive curly hair, letting it fall in front of his eyes again. His left hand came up to spin one of the studs in his lips around a bit before he realized what he was doing and snapped his hand down like he'd been popped with a ruler or something similar.

"Do you have a night showing any time soon? Maybe not tonight, but in the next few days?"

Torva nodded his head, "Yeah, it's especially nerve wracking when you're on a stage in front of a lot of people! That is where being born into the group helps a lot." He'd been in front since he was little so it was something that he was used to... though he supposed there were still times it could get a bit nerve wracking, mostly when he was trying out new tricks live.

Giving a nod of his head Torva said, "There should be a show coming up here soon, yes! I might not make a big appearance in it since I am still a prentice but I will have a least a little bit of a role." He looked ofrward to when he was able to do more then just little taste test showings of his skills. That wouldn't happen until his grandfather was sufficiently impressed.

"You can enjoy the rest of the show though! There is lots to see and enjoy after all!" Torva said, clapping his hands together while hopping up and down in place, a bright smile plastered on his face.

"Sounds like a date," the red-head said with a wide grin. He meant it in a teasing way, but would leave it up to Torva to figure out what he meant.

"...While I'm at the show, do you mind if I jot things down that I see and think? I want to try to get an article together to see if I can't start working at the newspaper. I have huge dreams, and I've got to start somewhere. I think a review of the show could help both of us!" The wheels in Kalanc's head were turning. If he did a positive review on the show, they would get a larger audience and he would be a published writer. He would start learning what it took to work at the newspaper; valuable experience he'd need for when he finally owned his own. "I could even maybe get interviews with you and some of the other performers to make something really magical and personal!"

Giving a bit of a laugh Torva said, "Sounds fun." He'd never been on a date himself but hey, it could be fun! Even if it wasn't exactly how a conventional date went... not that he knew exactly what those were. He'd only heard stories from his older brother Tylarl.

"An article? Oh! So you're a journalist, huh? That sounds like fun. What sort of stuff do you write about? Anything exciting?" He heard that journalist sometimes did dangerous work since they had to cover all the different stories, even the ones that might put them at risk. Kalanc must be really tough!

Giving a humming sound Torva said, "There are a few that you could interview. Let me talk to them before the show though to make sure they are alright with it. At least Tylarl and our mother should be willing though! The others it mostly depends how busy they are."

"I'm not a real journalist," he admitted with a flush on his cheeks. "I want to be one... so I want to submit something to the newspaper..." Kalanc toyed with his hair a bit, tugging it in front of his face until it was straight, it went past his chin by at least an inch or two when it was completely straight. Letting go the hair would spring right back to the almost ringlets that was it's natural state. "I'm trying to just write about everything. I don't want to be too narrow in case they need reporters who just have to go write about how much rain we're getting, or need someone on the case of a theft or something. Just want to kind of be a jack-of-all-trades."

When Torva said he'd ask the others, Kalanc's purple eyes shimmered like Torva just made his year. "Yeah! of course. That sounds great! Man.." he laughed to himself, giving himself a little fist pump of excitement.

Torva gave his new friend a clap on the back, "Wanting to become one is the most important thing! I'm sure if you try your hardest that you will be the best journalist!" He threw his hands into the air, waving his hands in excitedly before he said, "You should let me read what you write sometime! Once you're all ready!"

Clapping his hands together in front of him Torva then said, "I'd especially love to read about your experience at our show after you finish with that story!" The stories about rain might also be useful since their group was one that traveled from city to city to entertain. He might also want to know about theft stories as well so they knew what pickpockets to watch out for. All in all it all sounded as though Kalanc's writing would be quite useful to him.

"I can't wait to read it all, Kal!" He said, giving his friend a smile.

"I hope you like it," Kalanc said with a sheepish little look on his face. "I'll let you be the first one to read the first draft, how's that sound?" He asked, eyes bright and shining again. The hybrid licked his lips, tasting the metal from his piercings and then just held out a hand to the other.

"You'll be the star, Torva. I think you're a fascinating guy. I hope you don't mind a lot of questions..."

Torva gave a happy sound, hopping up and down in place, "I look forward to it!" He chirped, sounding as though he was quite excited about the whole idea of getting to read Kalanc's piece. Not only did he get to read it but he got to be the first one to read it. Clapping his hands together he said, "Our group should be around this city for a while putting on shows. You can't miss us, don't worry!" They were a big, flashy group after all.

Blushing ever so slightly as he was told that he'd be a star he smiled, "Heh, yes! I will be a grand, shining star one day." He said, crossing his arms behind his head in a happy manner. He was more then excited to hear such a thing, "I'm all for answering questions once you're ready."

"Ah!" Kalanc looked up at the sky to see the sun and realize he was actually getting late to bring his father some food at the shop. "Oh I have to run!" He rubbed his hands together and offered it out to Torva with a grin. "I need to bring dad some food or he just won't eat! He gets super focused on work.." The red-head sighed helplessly and grinned.

"I'll come to your show soon, I promise! I'll even come seek you out afterwards."

Torva gave a mock pout as his friend said that he had to run, "So soon? That's a shame... though I suppose I should really be getting my sisters back soon as well." While he was all for playing a while longer it was getting late so the twins would be wanting dinner. Not to mention that he didn't want to appear as though he was slacking off or anything. Giving a smile he said, "Have a good night, work hard!"

Lifting his hands up he clapped them together and said in a happy, sing song manner, "We look forward to having you at our show, Kal!" He couldn't wait to tell his family all about it! Having a journalist come to write up an article would be great! It was sure to draw even more attention to their shows!

Torva gave his new friend a wave before turning his attention to his sisters, "Alright you two, let's head back too. Now that Kal has mentioned dinner my stomach is starting to rumble." The two girls set to nodding their heads in agreement, seemingly hungry as well. Giving a nod Torva moved to gather the juggling balls, putting them all away in the bag they were carried in, and put it over his shoulder, "Shall we go?"

The two nodded again before all three turned, waving to Kal, calling out to him, "See you soon!"
