Even though he was mad, they were still "brothers" so to speak. He could only push the envelope more right? "You win this one" he whispered softly before looking towards the end of the Brothel where shows were held. There wasn't a show tonight and the instruments seemed lament without anyone playing them. Well, what better way then to be a perfect wing man. They could only talk about powers for so long. Entering Sebastian, the little mermaid mode . Sobering up, he would look at the owner "Hey Charles. The place seems, quiet today. I shall, get the party going." he stated. Charles would look at Xavier and think for a moment before shrugging. He didn't care. It, usually brought in business and since a lot of hooking up been going on, the business of whoring around has thinned a little. So, it could bring in couples that come, drink, and watch the mini-show in hopes of more. Of course, that was the scam. Xavier sing like 1-2 songs. Leave them in suspense, Charles sucks up all the gold coins.
Sitting on the stage, he would kick it, causing a summoning of about 5 skeleton soldiers who arose from the dead. Commanded to play instruments, a different kind of weapon, He would then stay seated as the band started. A smirk on his face as his tail kept curling and uncurling.

Kami Sylvester  Kami continued to talk to Surtr. He seemed to think other wise of her abilities and what she was capable of. "We do seem to have a lot in common and to think I was turned off because you were trying to hit on me. I misjudged you in doing so." Taking a sip of her drink, she looked over at the stage where Xavier looked to have formed a bone band, she laughed. "I don't have time for college. I have a shop to run on the North side of Karst. My passion is clothing. Making them, creating new designs, and selling them. So yes my abilities are limited to the basics, but I use them little to none." Taking another sip, the music was okay. Not so bad for a bone head. "Dance with me." She gave Surtr a questioning glaze.

 As she mentioned being turned off her chuckled softly. "Asking about a drink is considered hitting on you?" Surtr said glancing to her now a playful look across his lips. A rather playful tease now as the two were speaking. When she spoke about about her passions he nodded. "Really clothes eh? I could use an upgrade""Surtr said with a chuckle being serious in his words. He would likely need new clothes and he might as well support this young mage if it meant she'd get to hone those powers more. As she invited him to dance he let out a rather soft sigh. He stood before extending his hand for her to take. The tables would suddenly move away a bit as the two would be given plenty of room to dance thanks to Surtrs telekinesis. If she took his hand he would spin her so that she would be twirled into his arms coming into his chest before he would dip her. When he hit the chorus, which isn't about to be written out because everyone should know this song. If not, "Set Fire to the Rain" is on youtube. Seriously. He would create space rifts tiny ones that flooded around the room while having moderate size rifts that formed a circular dance floor for Kami and Surtr. When Xavier hit the bridge ( But there's a side to you/That I never knew, never knew.)Moderate size rifts would start pulsating fire into the air. Think of the undertaker's entrance on how the fire isn't constant, but shot up spaced out in a staccato like fashion. Then the pulsating would stop and a moment of pause, would come before Xavier singed the chorus. As he hit the first note, the moderate rifts would shoot out fire in a constant stream, connecting together to make a perfect circle of fire while miniature rifts around the brothel would start to stream fire, making it look like it was raining fire, but in a safely manner. Kami Sylvester Kami thought for a moment. "I'll see what I can do if you drop by the shop one day." Taking Surtr hand, she went to the dance floor with him. He seems to be quiet the dancer. "Well I'll be. He has moves." She teased him. The bone head wasn't a bad wing man. He had them in a flaming circle and it was raining flames. "At least he's good for something." she chuckled.

As she accepted her offer and the two began to dance Surtr smirked. "I'll have to take you up on the offer." Surtr said softly with a smirk deciding he would happily take her up on the offer. His clothes were rather archaic and no longer served their purpose. As their dance continued Surtrs left hand would be holding hers while his right had moved to her lower back. Flirting a bit with his gentle touch allowing it to move with Kami as she moved. Fire began to rain down and it seemed that his wingman had overextended his reach. A splash of fire managed to connect with Surtrs back right shoulder. He immediately twirled Kami out and fluidly slipped his free hand out of his coat before spinning Kami to that hand while he slipped out of his jacket with his other. He promptly threw the coat into a rift as the fire engulfed and incinerated it. A shake of his head as he pulled Kami back in his bare chest now against her after losing his coat. "Seems I'll have to stop by sooner than expected...." He said playfully with a smirk. He was in the thin side in build but there was a layer of muscle that was well defined. Kami Sylvester Kami was having a really fun time dancing with Surtr. The raining flames had caught a fire to Surtr's coat which he took off in a smooth move. Kami was melting each moment that ticked b with his man. He had all the right moves and knew what to say. He held her interest. Being pulled back against his bare chest as his coat burned in the floor, Kami blushed. "It does seem you will be there sooner than expected. It also seems I'm fallin' for you too." Kami wasn't one to just give her heart away, but it was clear she was attracted to Surtr in more way then one now.

As she danced with him it was obvious Surtr was having fun. It was apparent to anyone the man was enjoying himself. He continued the little tango smirking at her as she blushed. As she whispered he was falling for her Surtr would slide his hand up to her cheek his eyes staring deeply into hers. "Careful.... I'm damaged goods. Not the kind to be fallen for." Surtr said with a soft sigh. His free hand had wrapped around her waist, his smile was soft and for once not playful. It was quite clear if she looked into what it meant. He too was developing some semblance of feeling but unfortunately Surtr was like the wind. He could not be trapped or held down. While he enjoyed having fun and he saw a younger version of himself in this one only giving her a better time getting to his heart but Surtr had never been tied down by a woman and he was dubious that any ever would. He had given her warning he had done so intentionally. He held her close now awaiting to see her answer before the dance would continue. Kami Sylvester Kami stared back into his eyes. She was trying to find something anything that could make her believe he was willing to just say I'm damaged and leave it at that. If Kami was being realistic, she was damaged as well. Having to raise her siblings and protect herself and her siblings from their father. "Anything that is damaged can always be repaired. I've never seen anything damaged beyond repair and if it is, there is always a way to fix it even if it has to be reconstructed." Kami was wise far pass her years. She feared nothing and a challenge was a good thing to her. She was willing to take on the challenge that was Surtr.

Surtr sighed softly as she responded. "Many have tried...." He said softly before leaning in close. "Non have succeeded..." He whispered before dipping her looking into her eyes seeing the confidence in her eyes. She seemed to ignore these warnings. Intelligent and strong willed a rather dangerous conversation. He was damaged it was true. Severely so and some broken things remain broken. He couldn't argue her logic but it would be unlikely she'd would be the one. As he lifted her back up from the dip he stood with her in her arms. "What do you propose we do next? I imagine you will grow tired of this dance..." Surtr said rather playfully wondering what she would say in return. Surtr was very easy going and so far the evening had gone well, no sense in souring it. Even if Surtr was being a bit of a stick in the mud. Though Kami seemed determined so perhaps she would persevere through the melancholy. Kami Sylvester As much as Kami was enjoying their time on the dance floor, it was becoming late. She needed to return to the North side to be able to open her shop in the morning. "Well let's just say I am not one to give so easily." Surtr didn't know this was her new hang out spot, She'd be here almost ever night. He was going to have to get used to her presence. Being dipped, Kami giggled. He asked what was their next move. Coming back up, she raised an eyebrow. "Unlike the rest of the women in here, I come here to unwind from my day not sleep around. If you wanted a woman to take home and have a one night stand with, I believe you picked the wrong gal. Now if you so chose to be a gentleman, you can walk with me back to the North side so we can spend more time together."

Surtr chuckled as she seemed to accept his challenge. "I wish you the best of luck." He said dipping his head softly as if to show a sign of respect. She had just stepped to the base of a mountain that so far had been proved insurmountable. He would happily wish her well on this endeavor, though the last thing he wanted to do was to see another person fail. As she raised her eyebrow and spoke rather bluntly he chuckled softly. "I come here because it is my home." He said before lifting his elbow for her to take before extending his other arm. "I believe I picked the right girl." Surtr said with a smile as he began to walk with her. "So do you always trick a guy into walking you back? Or am I truly an exception?" He teased softly as the two began their walk back to the north side. Despite the n** of the night air and the lack of a shirt Surtr did not seem cold. If she bothered to look at his back she would see a monstrous tattoo of a three eyed raven that went from shoulder to shoulder. Kami Sylvester Taking Surtr's arm, Kami would take the journey with him to the North side. She had her jacket so she was protected from the chill of the night. "Funny thing about that is, they never make it this far. Either they are blunt about what they want, or as the night goes on it becomes clear what they true intentions are. No one has ever got the privilege of walking me home. So you are the exception and the first." she explained. "What got me the most is that you are right. You did not hit on me. I made a bad assumption that you were doing so." she admitted.

Surtr chuckled at her words as she took his arm. "Truly an honor to fill that role. Though for the likes of me to be the first it would appear you are around the wrong kind of men." He said as his eyes would look upward into the stars. It was a wonderful thing, the way the constantly danced and sparkles. Surtr wished he could go to one some day, but the heavens were reserved for the dead. "I come for fun, a good chase is the most fun one can have" Surtr said with a playful smirk as his eyes went over to Kami. He admitted that sex wasn't the thing he enjoyed most. What? Was Surtr crazy all of a sudden? "But keep that to yourself... a man has appearances to uphold." Surtr said with a chuckle insulting himself. He preferred to be thought of as a helpless man, being underestimated is what allowed Surtr to get so strong and to live for so long. Why would he wish it to change? Though it seemed Kami was able to see through all that somehow, perhaps that was why he took such a shining to her. As she admitted her mixup her chuckled softly. "I'd be a liar if I said it didn't want to.... I find it fun" Surtr said with a smirk his warmth seeming to grow now so that the n** of the cold air wouldn't even be noticed. "It's like a game of chess, I get to slowly make moves while understanding my opponent. Even if I don't win, I still learn a great deal." He spoke as his eyes looked to the front now. It was apparent he enjoyed learning the most. It seemed the reason behind every move was to learn something. Except perhaps tonight. Why would he dance with her? Kami Sylvester Kami just shook her head. "I suppose I have been around the wrong type of men because they have all been curved, but you seemed to have peaked my interest without so much as a corny line."
She smiled at the thought of the little fire man that lend on her glass. Looking over at Surtr, he seemed to be caught up in the sky. Once he made eye contact with her,his next statement shocked her. "So you enjoy the chase? I thought you'd want someone that was easy going. You just keep surprising me Surtr." Again Kami found herself just tickled at Surtr. "An appearance to keep up? I believe I already see throw the facade."
Continuing to walk with Surtr, they'd made it a good distance from the brothel, bu still had a way to go before they reached the north side of Karst. Listening to Surtr chuckle behind her confession, she looked away from him. "I find nothing cute about being hit on by a man. I find it quiet sad actually, but to each his own. It just will not get a roar out of me." Kami was enjoying being with him, he held a good conversation. There was just no way she was going to give up on him. He possessed so many things she'd been looking for in a decent man. "I think I'm going to have to play my own game of chess expect I hope I have enough moves to win while learning a great deal." Looking over at Surtr, Kami had to think of a starting place to win him over.
