Celestine blinked and glanced at Florizel, "While, I agree with that fact but some don't like the formalities because it makes them sound like they are better than others" she told him. Not that she was interested in what his brother did but, it would be good to know. Not entirely sure when she would need that information. She shrugged it off a little.

She glanced at him thinking about it at least it was good for him to get out every so often in a day, she grinned cheekily at him "Actually, I do think of you as a workaholic" teasing him back. She pondered over what she did for fun "I mostly, take some nice leisure walks and enjoy the outdoor scenery but I also like visiting the crystal trees" she told him.

She blinked and glanced at Rizel "I would love to accompany you on this outing" she told him and then shifted her gaze to llluminata as she spoke up about teaching her about what she did as a day job "I would love to learn how and see your creativity in action." she said. Perhaps, her new found skill could come in handy, she could probably make her own little crafts with the skill Illuminata was going to teach her.

"I never thought of it that way." Florizel admitted and it was true. He always thought folks like being called "Miss" or "Sir" or what have you. To think that he had been offending others every time he had said it was rather horrifying to think about. Florizel hated the idea of causing others discomfort.

When she went on to say that she truly thought of him as a workaholic, he stopped walking and turned to face her.
"Is... Is that really what you think of me? I mean, you've only met me today..." He stared at her for a moment, anxiety prickling in his fur. Had he come across as stuffy? Should he have stayed outside and chatted with her rather than returning to the Amber Distract with his mother? Oh, Grand Weaver... Had he made a bad impression?

It was only when he saw the light in her eyes that he realized she had been teasing him.
"Oh goodness, you had me worried." He sighed, nearly sagging with relief. "I assure you, Celest, I am not the sort to get caught up with my work. I take it seriously and genuinely enjoy doing it, is all." And while he wasn't going to brag about it, for bragging is not a flattering trait, he wanted to add that he took pride in his work. After all, he did a good and sound service to his District and there were others within that looked up to him for it.

Her interests seemed very outdoorsy and nature based and Florizel loved her for it, though he ought not let on about it, just yet. After all, they had only been around one another for maybe an hour. It was surely too soon to tell anything for certain, right?

In regards to the outing, he smiled.
"Excellent." Said he to she and headed out of the studio while Celestine paused to speak with his mother. Shaking himself, he waited until Celestine had joined him and then began to walk again. "So, tell me more about yourself." He suggested as they walked along.

Illuminata smiled at Celestine who spoke to her before she left and when the two were out of earshot, the Nantil finally relaxed. Breathing a sigh, she actually moved over to one of the projects she was working. She often spent time with Florizel, collecting and sorting scales, but he was a trader not an artist. He was unable to perform the tasks that required deft pawstrokes across a smooth surface, or use his claws to weave wool around in a particular pattern. She did that now, focused and hunched over her latest project where she would remain until they returned with the dye that she "needed".

Celestine glances at Florizel trying to figure out what else she could tell him about herself. She was pretty certain his mom sent the two of them out together on purpose..so it was sort of a like 'date'. "Well, lets see. Other then what I have already told you. I don't have any siblings or parents, so i'm kinda out on my own. Which hasn't been completely bad" she told him "its given me a chance to get familiar with the different areas that make up the districts, can't say I've been too all of them but I've been to a few" she answered. "I do like to explore." she told him.

She nodded her head "Trust me, I believe you 'Rizel" she told him happily. She tilted her head to the side "Enough, about me..what else makes Florizel well...Florizel" she asked him.

Florizel listened closely to Celestine, his ears perked and attentive. He found himself hanging on her every word and he smiled sheepishly when she turned her attention on him.
"What makes me, me?" He repeated. "I can't say I've ever thought about it, but let me think..." He trailed off in thought, though his paws kept moving him forward. "I suppose what defines me is the love of my parents and siblings, though before that I've always had strong motivation for something.
I've always wanted to move forward and help b'alam. It was my mother who guided my paws towards the Merchant District. Between my family and my work, which often go paw-in-paw, I don't really spend my time doing much else.
" He smiled and added. "And what with my parents being so lucky with the Weaver and getting so many children each time they try, the family keeps growing. Though, one day, I should like to have my own idols blessed,
if I am able.
" He glanced at Celestine shyly. "That is, if I happen to find my other half." He admitted.

"I know you've been saying that you don't know what you're doing at this point in your life, Celestine, but perhaps I could help you figure out what it is you'd like to do... Or what kind of folk you might be interested in spending your time with." There was a twinkle in his eyes as he proposed the latter.
"I don't know about you, but I know that I would be happy to spend more time with you." He told her, his voice sincere.

Illuminata kept herself busy while her son and his friend were away. Her head was full of prying thoughts, like what this lovely Celestine was like. As far as first impressions go, Illuminata was quite taken with the pretty Nan. She seemed unsure of herself, to be sure, but that came with those who were wove by the Weaver, rather than blessed as an idol,
Illuminata supposed.

Continuing to work, she wondered if this Celestine could be her little Zel's other half. Her fur fluffed out in excitement. She would have to tell Ecthelion as soon as she returned home from her workshop at the end of the day. Their little Zel may be advancing through another stage in his life: what fun!

Celestine nodded her head and listened intently to what Florizel was saying about himself. "You are lucky you had parents and siblings to guide you in the right direction. I've been trying to self-discover myself since I was awakened. I hope that If I do have idols in the future, that I can be a good parent to them." she told him thinking about it. "It would help to find your other half first wouldn't it" she said letting out a small laugh at the silliness.

Florizel listened closely as ever to Celestine. She hadn't accepted his proposal, but maybe he hadn't been clear enough with it. He nodded along with what she had to say about how he was lucky to have his parents and siblings.

"I am lucky, I'm aware." He said with a smile. "Without the aid of my family, I doubt I would have found my path so quickly. I owe a lot to my parents, though my siblings never quite influenced my path so much as they helped me once I had found it. Or, Lucent did, at the very least. I like to think that now that I'm an older brother, what with Inlustris and Astere, that I've helped them find their footing too, though neither of them have shown the knack for trade or art that myself or my mother are really known for. Sometimes I wonder if Inlustris is meant to be a wanderer, since he never seems able to settle in one place anyway." He shook himself and looked back to Celestine with a smile, gazing into her pale gaze with one of warmth.

"I'm not sure if you're interested, but... I would love to help you, if I can. I know the whole implication of self-discovery is to do it by yourself, but that doesn't mean you can't have a helping paw along the way, right? I had my family to help guide me and, if you're up to it, I could be that for you." At her next remark, he perked his ears and smiled. "Do you think you'd want them? Idols, I mean."

Illuminata had re-organized her workshop, crafted an anklet and was working hard at a matching necklace. She thought about the pendant that had been her dream and looking around, she now wondered if it would be better as some form of hanging. It would be flat, but also three dimensional. It would be spectactular and it would be large. Something that could be placed behind a Magi, she thought, when others came to see them from other tribes, but it would symbolize unity.

"The enter would be whatever tribe was the home tribe, with us it would be of the Light tribe, with the dark the center would be dark and so on." Her fur ruffled and she put down the necklace to work on sketching out a notion of what the wall hanging in question might look like.

Celestine nodded her head at his remarks showing that she was listening to him intently. She thought about it, she felt like she had repeated herself since she did remember mentioning that to him earlier on in their conversation. "There are some who choose the lifestyle of a wanderer, going to so many different places in their lifetime but I can't say I've met anyone like that yet" she said to him thinking about it.

She nodded her once again "That would be very much appreciated" she answered back to him happily. Before she thought about the idea of having her own idols one day "I actually would not mind having my own idols and having the ability to nurture them and guide them. I suppose it would be an adventure if I did have any, a good one at that and one that probably has its rewards at the end of it" she told him

Florizel liked the attention that Celestine was giving him. He wasn't used to being given such focus, especially in the company of any customers, who often had other things on their minds. Then, naturally, he would only get a bit of attention from his mother. He had realized that at a young age, that while she would always ask him direct questions and look him in the eye, that until she finished her Unity piece, she would never really have her attention on one b'alam, even if they were family, at a single moment.

This change, with Celestine actually paying attention to him, was refreshing. It made him feel warm. He liked it. He listened to her statement about one who might choose the life of a wanderer and shrugged. He couldn't imagine such a lifestyle himself, but he supposed that he was woven that way.

When Celestine then accepted his offer, he gave her a broad smile. He perked his ears when she told him she fancied the idea of having cubs one day too.
"Well, if you're ever interested in hearing what it's like to be a mother, I'm sure my own would love to tell you all about her experiences." He said with a chuckle, before looking to her with a smile. "I think, if I were ever to find my other half, I would like to be blessed in such a way, too."

Illuminata took her work very seriously, so much so that she often got absorbed into it. She kept trying to recall important trades that she and Florizel had discussed. What was the signature exports that came from other Tribes, she always wanted to know. She spent a lot of time thinking over how she was going to design her wall hanging. Originally, it was supposed to be a necklace, but then she wasn't sure if it would be better as a wall hanging. She supposed she could make both, or at least, the design for both. For the time being, she wouldn't let herself get distracted. She was making the design for the wall hanging and that's what she would keep to! But... she was starting to wonder where her son had gone.

While it was true that she had sent him on a task that she didn't particularly need to get done in any hurry, she did wonder what was taking him so long. She flicked her tail and moved out of her workshop, soaking up the light and giving a sigh of relief. The light of her forest always made her happy. While other b'alam chose cloth workshops or tents, the underside of this crystal tree always gave Illuminata all she'd ever needed in a workshop and her small frame complimented it.

But she did enjoy getting out and about, too. Maybe she should take a break, she wondered and go find her little Zel. Yet... no, she couldn't. It was very likely that the Weaver meant for him and this lovely Celestine to be together. If this were the case, she ought not mess it up for them.

So, she ducked back into her workshop and set back to work. She would let this, if it was meant to be, grow without her interference. Or at the very least, she would try to.
