Was that a threat? And why was he touching her hair? Intimidation? The a**-hat! His intimidation was both working and making Sherry angrier than she had been.

Armagnac wasn't even using words, she was just radiating rage and an desire to harm from her corner of Sherry's mind. Jason was in her space, because he was in Sherry's.

Sherry did her best to block out her weapon. Reaching up she moved to brush Jason's hand away. "Don't touch me. And I have no intention of dying anytime soon, but certainly not for your sake. I don't even care if you make fun of me."

Sherry was doing her best to act like he wasn't getting to her.

Yes, yes he had hit a nerve. Sherry wasn't even what sure what nerve he had hit. Was it calling her a b***h for no reason? Was it making fun of her? Intimidating her? Just not liking her for some reason she didn't understand. She'd done nothing to him, and here he was, being a complete jerk-face in her space.

Sherry leaned back as far as she could, trying to squirm away from him. "No, you shouldn't. Not unless you're trying to pick a fight." Sherry really didn't want a fight. She didn't want to run, but she didn't want to fight, either.

Sherry watched him a bit too intently. He'd pushed her buttons, and she really didn't want them pushed any further. Armagnac was screaming for a fight. Sherry almost wanted a fight, just to prove that he couldn't intimidate her - and she hated that she felt that way even the tiniest little bit. She didn't want to hurt anyone, no matter how rude they were being.

As it was, Sherry let out a sigh of relief when he stepped back. She was still angry and highly irritated, but he was right- No fighting in the cafeteria.

"Good thing it's not. Bullies like you might bite off more than you can chew. Not everyone is as weak as they seem." Sherry tried to sit up straight again, trying to say that he hadn't made her uncomfortable.

Armagnac was sure she had the best answers to life.

"Yes, I am right. You didn't look like an a*****e at first glance." Sherry was doing her very best to look assured and not too flustered. It was really hard when she was looking up at him like she was.

Getting to her feet with more force than necessary she said, "How fragile do you consider me?"

"Below average is better than whatever you are." Sherry would be angry with herself later for both trying to insult him and failing to have any good insults. She didn't like being rude and mean, but if she was going to she'd like to do it well. Seriously, though. What the hell? She'd never, ever had guessed he was this much of an asshat.

"Why did you even help us? So you could be a hypocrite about it? Lord it over people about being so cool and better than them?"

That wasn't what she meant and he was just twisting her words. Ugh. It was so frustrating. "No," she said, unclenching her fist just so she could point at him. "I'm beginning to doubt that you are any of those things. You probably didn't need assistance because bullies are cowards."

Sherry expelled a breath. "I can't believe I thought you were a good Moon. You must be a pretty crappy one, in reality."

He was right, again, and that was so incredibly irritating. He had gone down to help her and Joy save Kai, and Sherry didn't know if they'd have been able to do it without him. He'd been so nice about it at the time, so helpful. She should be telling him thanks, but she wasn't about to. Not right now. Not ever, maybe.

"No you're not. I think you're a pompous a** bully, and I am pretty sure I'm right." It was all she had.

Sherry scoffed at his agreement. Of course he'd like being an a*****e. It was like arguing with a brick wall.

She frowned up at him. "I can back up my statements." Calling her a weakling, talking about not being just hot air, did he want a fight? Fine. Sherry was angry enough to go down that road. "Do you want to fight? I'll fight you. Let's go."
