Oh spirits he was serious! "I really don't think this is such a big thing!" Talisia protested, "Look I'm even moving alright, I can see clearly now, and my stomach is much more settled." She sighed as he continued being dramatic, "I would prefer if you didn't die trying - really there is no need for all this."

As he pushed her aside Talisia was in shock - was this really a thing? She hated the idea of going to a healer. To the point that it spurred the woman to rush forward and pull Eresin back into the doorway, "Hold on! You're going waaay too fast. Let's take a moment and think on this, okay? Not rush into the blizzard for a healer." Which admittedly there was only a light snow, as usual, going on outside but still!

Talisia's cheeks flushed, "Oh you are the last person allowed to say such a thing! I thought separation was your thing!" She protested, "But once again I am not dying, dammit!" The next thing she knew the slippery sage had brushed past. Oh, that guy! Fuming now, Talisia began to run down the hallway after him.

What did she have to do? Knock him out and tie him down? At this rate it seemed that whoever passed out first was going to have to agree with the other person. Ugh, why couldn't he just listen to her? !

"Don't you dare open that door!" She protested as she finally caught up to him. But of course as soon as the words left her mouth the man had those stupid doors wide open. Furious, Talisia stormed forward as if to yank Eresin back from those doors, "Don't you take one step outside, mister!" But then she paused as she realized something or rather someone was watching.

What neither expected was the petite figure of an iceling woman who was staring at the display of fighting with wide eyes, "Umm...do I need to come back at a later time?" She questioned as she fidgeted on the steps.

"No-no." Talisia flushed lightly, "Airywn, I forgot that you were coming to check in on your familiar today. He's doing alright."

"I'm glad he is doing alright."

"Well, yes." Talisia smiled with a flush, "Sorry about this. We uh got carried away while playing around."

"He's just being silly." Talisia protested as she bumped Eresin with her hip, "I hate wasting a healer's time while he thinks the slightest stomach pain is cause to create havoc in search of one." Talisia paused as she noticed the iceling girl's mood shifting from curious to more amused. Airywn was smiling rather than getting upset at the display. Such an act made Talisia raise a brow, "Is there something that you're thinking, Airywn?"

"Just thinking about how nice it must be." The woman grinned, "But then again I hear most husband's do freak out when their lover is expecting."

Talisia slowly nodded her head before the news sank in, "Wait - what did you say?"

"Expecting?" The hybrid blinked, "Expecting what?"

"Babies of course." The iceling laughed, "Obviously you have the glow of pregnancy and it sounds like your first round of morning sickness just hit." Though she did trail off with a flush, "I mean if you two are together - I would assume that's the case. My mother's a midwife so I've helped her take care of a lot of expecting mothers. You seem to be a lot like them, Talisia."

The news made Talisia glanced down at her stomach. She was carrying babies? Gaze widening she looked over towards Eresin, "You...me....babies?" She glanced back over to Airwyn, "Really?"

"Yes, really." The girl laughed, "If you want I can send my mother over tomorrow to begin check ups with you. She's not a scary healer, Miss Talisia, I promise."

"I suppose we will do that then." Talisia reached out for Eresin in support, "Thank you Airywn."

The girl nodded, "And don't worry mister. Miss Talisia should be fine - she's not dying anytime soon. I'll go check on Bybi myself while you two talk about things." With a small bow and giggle the young ice woman strode away from the steps and towards the path that led to the animal shelter.

Leaving of course the two lovers alone. At which point Talisia was just staring at Eresin in shock. Babies - her? They were going to be parents? Really? Oh the world definitely was turning upside down now!

"Apparently." Talisia shook her head. She was happy, but at the same time was still in shock. She was going to be a mother? It was just an amazing thought to behold for the hybrid. After all these harsh years here she was with the love of her life, living in their own place, running her animal sanctuary, and now having babies? It was like a dream - any moment she was afraid she would wake up and be back to that cold reality of her younger years.

Still, she couldn't help laughing at Eresin's responses. "Just breathe, Eresin." She looped an arm through his lovingly, "Don't bed rest me just yet - I have a few more months of mobility." She teased lightly, "Though at this rate I may have to bed rest you before you pass out."

"But don't worry, I will make certain to take care of myself." Talisia leaned up against him, "We will start with cuddling the mother to be in bed and then you can make us a lovely dinner after I take a nice long nap to settle my stomach."

Leaning against him the woman closed her eyes in bliss. This truly was wonderful news. It would just take a bit of adjusting to, but she was certain that the two of them could make it through. This after all was just a new chapter in their journey and she was confident that they could handle it.
