 As she seemed oblivious to her soaking wet appearance Surtr sighed. This one was the definition of innocence oh how he was tempted to try to corrupt this one. As Millenia began to speak about her mom being able to breathe every element Surtr cocked his head looking towards her with a curious look now. "All you say.... she must be quite powerful.... and old." Surtr said with a smirk and another sigh. Was this for real? She couldn't be the.... no there's no way she would get away without being followed if that were the case.... right? As she asked yet another question Surtr raised the scroll up. "The magic that can be learned from this scroll could be very dangerous in the wrong hands. I am what everyone would consider harmless so for me to know it's safer than it being discovered by some one far more unsavory." Surtr said speaking the truth. He was a man of discovery and he had no grand desires or aspirations so he was arguably the safest one to know what lay within. As Millenia gave him space he smirked allowing a soft chuckle to escape his lips. "Always do what your mom says eh? Sounds really boring." Surtr said teasing her playfully pleased she finally gave him some space. The man couldn't breathe with her that close. At least not without smelling her. "Yes I've kissed every race many a time. More than that too. Something I'm sure the future suitor your mom lines up for you will screw up for many years." Surtr said examining the scroll now trying to figure out how to open it. There was no beast yet, so perhaps it was activated upon reading the scroll. This would be tricky if so. Surtr couldn't destroy it without knowing it's secrets! He had to open it but without knowing the consequences he could endanger himself and Milennia which is she was the princess that would spell almost certain death for Surtr. Or at least banishment from the dragon kingdom.

 Millenia nodded "Well...I don't know about old...i don't really know how old we can get fully...but she is one of the older dragons, but she keeps the appearance of someone young" she confessed giving the agreement that she was someone strong and older than herself mainly. Hearing what he had to say about the whole scroll being in the wrong hands, she could understand that to some extent, "I guess your right...but what makes you so sure your future pupils wont have any bad reasoning's to use it..." she stated wondering if he took in account for that, the fact was that she couldn't even tell if someone had any ill intent unless they were open about it, and really no one was open about being evil unless they were already outed as that. The question about her mother returned, and she simply nodded "it's not really that boring, I'm not really the most impressive dragon from the clutch...rather I'm closer to a mistake...so I'm doing whatever i can to make her proud, and that means being a good daughter and listening to her at all times" she told him seeming confident that was exactly why she would always listen to her mother. she was of course the runt of the clutch that much she knew and she was very small for a dragon her age, but that never stopped her. "I don't think the suitor my mother will pick will be someone whom messes up, she will know whom to pick..besides, Dragons are devoted to their mates...they don't go messing around with others" she stated "unless your my brother then...maybe"OOC:

"I know he won't be bad because he'll have been my pupil for many centuries before I teach him what this holds." Surtr said softly while holding the scroll. If he couldn't tell the making of a man by that time then he wasn't worth knowing what this held. He sighed crossing his legs and taking a deep breath. How should he do this, how could he do this? How could he go about doing this without endangering her. As she spoke his concentration broke. "If I was your brother I could kiss you?" Surtr asked turning his head and squinting an eye visibly confused. "I didn't say anything about Mating Millenia just a simple kiss. You'd have to take me out to dinner before you bed me." Surtr said with a playful chuckle. He couldn't help but tease her she walked in to it. He had to do that after she so wonderfully set him up for it. "It's fine I would hate to taint such innocence anyway....." He said preparing to read the scroll but giving Millenia a chance to respond first.

Milleia just listened to what he said about his future pupil she still had doubts about pupils mainly because she was sure that there as bound to be someone that wanted to show off or had ill intentions but she as an optamist would simply agree to what he said and would put her hopes in that positivee ending as she wanted to see all good. "no no no...unlike dragons have one person they wil lbe with...he is different...he has many females...or something like that...i don't understand why but thats what it is" she explained to him rather than have him thinking that she'd alow her brother to kiss herr which was a complete and utter NO. "well...usually the kissing when with people tend to lead to future endeavors together...thats what i think at least" she stated as honestly as she could state this, she believed that everything related could combine and be a path for something else, or so she thought herself unknowing how many other races dealt with this. she would simply stop talking as he was seeming getting ready to look at the scroll, so she sat down staring at him and the scroll, waiting to see what he was going to do, how he was going to do it, perhaps she was even curious as what was in the scroll, what kind of spell was it.OOC:

"So males get to have many females but females only get to have one? That's extremely confusing." Surtr said softly before giving an even more confused look. This was extremely confusing. Soo confusing in fact. How weird was this hierarchical structure? "This is very odd." Surtr said lowering the scroll for a moment to speak to her. "So you're saying you don't want to kiss me because you believe you won't be able to control yourself? My my what a lusty little dragon you are." Surtr teased softly chuckling to himself as he broke the seal of the scroll reading it before nodding and rolling it up. Within a few moments the scroll burnt up and disappeared in ash before being blown away with the wind. "Learned..." Surtr said softly with a smirk as he looked to Millenia. "So I take you don't want that kiss then. Pity I'd like to know what it's like to kiss a princess...." Surtr said with a playful smirk glancing to her wondering what she would say. He was guessing of course but he had learned enough of her that he doubted she'd be able to hide it if it was true.

Millenia shook her head "no no no...its usually for both genders...each male dragon should be devoted to one female and vise versa" she stated trying to clear that up, because if it was that way, it was indeed unfair and to her wrong and a weird change from what she knew. she would puff out her cheeks abit upon his next comment "No...thats not what i said, I said kissing usually leads to more things, And i have no interest in kisssing a stranger" she stated still having her cheeks puffed out though she seemed quite interested in how fast the interaction between the scroll and the mage was, almost instantly it went into flames and he claimed her learned it "its...that easy, would it have been as fast as that if someone like me read it?" she asked tipping her head. she was curious about how that worked, but that would need to wait for a later cnversation as she just gave him a unsatisfied look "No, you wont get a kiss, Only the person my mama choses will get a kiss" she stated rather bluntly before she would stand back up stretching her arms upwards again. Surtr sighed softly as she rebuffed his affections it was rather cute but naive. Not much of a surprise with her current age and etcetera. "I'm not stranger. You know pretty much all about me there is to no. Surtr a mage who loves magic and pursues it to no end." Surtr said with a playful smile while standing. "No it likely would take you far longer, though I can demonstrate exactly what I learned." Surtr said with a playful smirk as he stood walking closer to her. "Trust me..." He whispered before lifting her left hand and gently kissing the top only choosing to do this as to make the girl puff those cheeks again. As his lips broke from the top of her hand a mark would be left on it. Surtr stepped backwards before jumping into the river being swept away. After a few seconds Surtr reappeared instantly holding the hand he had just kissed with his left hand. "That tattoo is temporary I promise." Surtr said waving his other hand over it and when it left the mark was gone with it. In addition Surtr let go a rather cheerful smile across his lips. "What fun magic is...." He said with a lively smirk although soaking wet he was obviously in the best mood she would have seen since they met. "So since you no longer want that kiss and I have what I came for would you care to return to you kingdom? We can begin the walk back." Surtr offered awaiting the younglings response before beginning. He got what he came for and met an interesting character in the mean time.

Millenia just looked at him "but thats all i know...Theres alot more that can make a strager...not a stranger" she stated she was going to go and list them all but she stopped herself because it would probably take a long time and she figured no one wanted to have a small mini lecture. she was abit sad that it wouldn't be as fast as he learned it, soon he would kiss her hand which she pulled away seeing a mark she puffed her cheeks out trying to wipe the mark off of her hand "what is this..."[/color] she stated still trying to figure out how to wipe if off, but couldn't figure a way. when she went to look back at him again, he was being drifted off by the current "wh...what...where are you going...why are you leaving this on me" she yelled out only to deel him holding her hand again. This caused her to jump in surprise, almost giving a small squeal "What the heck...thats not funny, that scared me" she stated puffing her cheeks out once again, she was about to ask him to remove the mark but it seemed to disappear after he removed his hand, this made her look closely at her hand wondering how it came off. "um...yea lets just walk then" she stated still looking at her hand but would put it down after he would begin moving in the direction, since she was following him she didn't move unless he moved as well.

"Well Millenia what must you know in order for me to no longer to be a stranger? I feel as if I know you. A dragon who has ice and mineral breathe around 1500 years of age and a princess." Surtr said with a smirk looking back to her as the two began to walk. He wondered just what she wanted to know. She had put up with his antics so he supposed he'd give her a few answers if she so desired. As she puffed her cheeks and was all cute and grumpy towards him Surtr chuckled shaking his head. "I wouldn't leave you all alone. I gave you my word Millenia, I am unable to break it now. Silly." He said teasing the girl some more. As she rushing sound of the river died down the crow came carrying Surtrs cloak. It squawked a bit as it dropped in his hands obviously incredibly tired from having to carry the dang thing so far. Surtr chuckled as he slipped it on and allowed the crow to perch itself atop his left shoulder resuming its normal place. "As for that mark that was what was in the scroll. I figured since you were so curious I might as well tell you..." He said stopping his walk and turning back to her. "You're not tired are you? I mean after all I'd imagine blacking out and turning into a dragon that would take a lot out of you..." Surtr said dashing backwards and in a swift but smooth motion scooping Millenia up on his back now giving her a piggy back ride. His arms wrapped around her lower thigh holding her in a very pg way as he resumed his walking. "There, now perhaps when I return that mother of yours will give me a reward." He said with a playful chuckle joking to be sure, but he'd take a reward nonetheless. His grip was pretty loose she could wriggle free if she'd like but for once in Surtrs life he wasn't trying to court the woman he was with he was just doing something nice, so why negatively reinforce a good behavior?

Millenia looked at him "Well...for one, I only know you, what about parents, siblings, things like that For them to not be a stranger they have to know a lot of things not just basics and such" she stated thinking about some of the point. she wasn't going to go over everyting as it would take forever to list everything she felt was important to know. "good...because if you did i wouldn't find my way home...I dont know anything about this place other than the river" she stated as she sighed, it was still terrifying for her though being left alone because she didn't know as much as she should of and it was her fault for being there, but even if he was someone she just met he did give his word he would help, so seeing him float away did shock her. Though as he explained the mark she would look at her hand "thats a weird way to use magic...kissing someone on the body in order to teleport like that...its just a weird way" she stated in her own opinion. "um...no im not really that Tir...aaahhh" s he couldnt finish her sentence before she would be picked up unto Surtr's back, her face held a hint of red in her cheeks as she puffed them out "I...wasn't that tired" she stated mumbling more as that sentence came out. she simply just accepted what he did and just remained sitting on his back, though she figured being a dragon he would need some sort of magic or training to keep her up so that hinted how old he probably was, he wasn't as young as he looked clearly. of course she already figured this, mainly because of what he knew and such but this was just another view point. "I wouldn't know, im never awake when she talks to the knights who bring me home" OOC:

"Parents are dead. Mother died giving birth to me and my father was killed by a Vampire." Surtr said softly not minding to divulge his information. "I never really knew my father. He left not long after I was born and returned me not long before he died." Surtr said as the two continued to walk. She was light for a dragon but magic was still necessary for him to carry her. "Ask away Millenia, I am not one to keep secrets.... Unless of course it's magic that could hurt others then I tend to ensure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands." He stated as the would begin to enter a large open field with the grass caressing the bottom of her feet due to it being so tall. As she mentioned his magic Surtr chuckled. "No I don't have to kiss someone to activate it I only did that to embarrass you." Surtr said giving Millenia a playful glance backwards. "It's quite simple really. I place that mark on something and then by focusing upon it I can pull myself through space to it. It's a very useful ability. Though very dangerous if abused." Surtr was of course trivializing the spell but he figured his explanation would suffice for now. Millenia would notice that Surtr was very warm for a human, it would be inviting and a friendly aura comforting like a soft flame. It was a side effect of his proficiency in pyromancy and Surtr was told many woman enjoyed it but he himself could never feel such a thing.

An ear splitting roar thundered from the clouds above. King Indred Cordenth had been searching for hours for his daughter Millenia, spotting her from 20,000 feet in the air with his extraordinary vision. The king dove from the sky with purpose and anger. Indred was seething at the moment, that Millennia had snuck off and even neglected to bring guards with her. The livid king touched down as a lightning bolt striking the ground about 30 feet in front of Surtr and Millennia. Indred drew his long sword, Clare Rijo, and pointed it at the man as he continued forward. "Millennia!" Indred roared, lightning arcing off of his body. "Get over here, right this instant!" He spat to the side as he came to a stop. Indred was ready to strike this man down at a moment's notice...

Millenia would just listen to what he was saying "Aw...Sorry for your losses, It must have been hard to live for long time without anyone raising you as a child" she told him as he was explaining where his father was, clearly he didnt have the best childhood, as none of his family was there when he probably most needed them. "Well...just make sure it doesnt fall in the wrong hands...because it will be weird seeing people teleporting everywhere and confusing people" she told him. she ddin't really have many questions for him, rather she did have one which was similar to his father " So...um, if you didnt have parents around how did you grow up...how did you survive so well?" she asked him before he explained the teleportation which made her puff her cheeks again, he did it to mess with her, that wasn't nice and it was mean, didn't even consider her feelings in the matter As they kept walking they would enter a field of grass tall enough to reach her feet. For a human he was surprisingly warm, not as warm as when she basks in the sun. Though this thought died down as she heard a loud roar "was that my dads roar?" she muttered, she could tell the roars apart from her family at least so hearing it made her look around. only to see the lightning bolt hit the ground, this caused her to jump in a startle falling off of the back of Surtr. she would sit up soon hearing her father speak telling her to come over to him "oh Papa....you came to come get me" she said jumping up and running to her dad, not from fear rather, because she thought he was the one looking for her after her blackout, she never knew who found her during her blackouts so she thought he was there for that "why do you have a sword pointed at him papa?" she asked him as she would stand in front of him giving a smile.

As Millenia apologize Surtr shrugged softly it mattered not to him. It was hard to feel pain towards the loss of something he never had. As she mentioned ensuring his magic didn't fall into the wrong hands Surtr chuckled softly. "Don't worry little one. If there is one responsibility I am good at that is it..." Surtr said his tone shifting to a more serious one if only for a moment. He doubted the young draconian would pick up on such subtle shifts but if she could she would likely be able to insinuate something happened in his past to make him like this. As thunder roared Surtr sighed softly. It was about time the cavalry arrived. So flamboyant the dragons were. Lightning struck the ground and Millenia fell off Surtr back but Surtr himself did not cower or even flinch as a bolt struck the ground turning grass and dirt into glass. "Scarring the earth so soon?" Surtr teased the new comer chuckling softly at such unnecessary displays of power. As lightning arched off the mans body Surtr nodded his face displaying a rather impressed look. "Wish I could study that...." Surtr said being serious but knowing someone so emotional as this was unlikely to accept such a request. As he pointed the sword to Surtr a rather bored huff escaped his lips and an eye roll to accompany it. "There is no need for that. I was walking towards you kingdom.... Actually hoping for some compensation for the baby sitting to be honest." Surtr said softly half heartedly serious though for now he was just attempting to feel out this newcomer. It was apparent this was Millenias father someone who Millenia barely spoke about though if she was the princess then this must be the king. A slight smirk crossed his lips. He was in the presence of someone quite powerful it would certainly be a treat to get some information on such a magnificent creature.

Indred's rage induced expression never shifted even while his daughter exclaimed her happiness at him finding her. While she ran up to him, Indred instinctively lowered Clare Rijo, but still was just as ready to strike Surtr down as he was when he first arrived. "Get behind me. NOW!" The king barked at Millenia, while he looked down at her with a scornful expression. His daughter was so naive, even more so than he was when he was her age. Indred surely didn't want her making the same stupid mistakes as him. "When we return, you are to be confined to your quarters indefinitely. Sneaking off to meet with a man. Unbelievable!"
The King of Dragons finally turned his attention to Surtr after he had ignored his attempts at diffusing the situation with flattery. Indred scoffed at his comment about walking towards the kingdom and hoping for compensation for baby sitting Millennia. Though he hadn't acknowledged the operative word 'your', to avoid revealing that he was the king. "Who said that you were permitted to enter our sacred land?" Indred shook his head and a rather terrifying expression, one of anger and happiness, replaced the one he had prior. "What say you, Warlock? Care to test your mettle against one such as myself?" Clouds over head began to form over head in preparation of an impending scuffle.
