The interior here had so many relics of the past... Ida wasn't sure she got a real good look at even a small percentage of what was there as they passed. It was different than her own planet, with the items left from the people there rotting away over time. She couldn't help wondering what some of them were for.

"I'm glad you did that for your wonder. We're all sort of... custodians of these places, and its good to see someone taking care of their place like you are." Ida smiled as Hype perked up. "I'd be happy to meet him if you'd like to introduce me. I haven't met one before."

Talking to a ghost... what a strange prospect. He'd probably be like any other person, but sometimes the things that came with powered life still managed to astonish her. Magic... it was still amazing that it was real.

"I agree we all need to do everything we can to restore our worlds and wonders back to their former glory. Who knows maybe one day there can be life in these places again." Hyperborea was happy to hear Ida held a similar opinion to her.

"Theseus come out and meet my guest!" Hyperborea called out knowing the ancient ghost tended to linger near by to her just out of view unless directly called on.

Then a giant ghost, easily taller than both girls combined, appeared before them. He wore a starry iridescent chlamys as well as a white kilt and golden greek style armor not dissimilar to his descent's current armor, however he had the addition of a Greek style helmet that obscured his face save for his eyes which were opalescent orbs that matched Hyperborea's in color. His skin was the color and texture of sand stone.

"Greetings Eternal Sailor Ida of Orchids. My name is Theseus former knight of this wonder. It is a pleasure." He introduced him self taking a knee before the two women.

It was odd to think of a ghost of an ancestor being there to come at your call. Perhaps he didn't have anything better to be doing, to appear so readily for her, but he was a ghost on an empty wonder... Everything about him, even the timeliness of his appearance, came a surprise to the senshi of Orchids.

It was very hard for Ida not to jump when the form came into being, large and almost imposing as it towered over the both of them. Wide eyed, she looked up, and up, into the face above them, obscured by a shining helmet.

Was he... not human? She wondered wildly. Or is this some part of being a ghost, that you get to be massive if you want to be.

"Ah, um.... Hello, sir. Its nice to meet you." Ida didn't know if she was supposed to... curtsy or something, if that was protocol for meeting an ancient being or something he would have expected when he had been alive. "I hope we aren't intruding. The wonder is very lovely... I've enjoyed being shown around it."

Theseus offer a kind smile. "I knew of you before Lady Ida, I can still recall your lush world. I hope the great trees still stand after so long." He thought back so long ago to when he had traveled the cosmos, immeasurable life times ago now.

"Thank you, that is kind to say. However this wonder is no longer my charge I have passed on all of my duties and rights to this young knight." He said gesturing to Hyperborea. "I serve only as adviser and guide. Who Kora chooses to bring here is her business. And if I may speak my mind you are a more appropriate guest than some of her others." he said in tone that had just the slightest hint of judgement.

Dark eyes widened, looking up at Theseus.

"You've been to Ida before? Yes! Yes, the trees are still there. They've come back to life since I started visiting, though I'm afraid its as empty as all the other worlds and wonders." The senshi said, her mind whirling excitedly. He'd seen Ida! When it was alive and lush with it. He'd seen the people, the travelers, the technology... she only knew of the bits and pieces that had come back to her. There were questions she wanted to ask, things she wished he could enlighten her about, but they were too many to organize properly. Where would she even start?

It was the tone that caught her attention finally, pulling her out of her thoughts enough to blink at Hyperborea at her side. Inappropriate guests? It would be rude to ask about it... If Hype wanted to tell her, she would. If this was an argument between her and her ancestor, she really shouldn't get in the middle of it... Still, her eyes were full of questions.

"I'm pleased by your welcome, and I think, even if you have passed on the role, you still deserve the honor of being a Knight of Cosmos." She said, sweeping past the odd comment. "I remember some of the things that happened in my past... but only very small moments, and they're very piece meal. I'd very much like to hear about your visit to Ida, someday, and what it was like from your perspective. And about Hyperborea, the way it was during the Silver Millennium."

That's what she had heard that time refered to. The time when all of them had been alive somewhere out in the galaxy and their worlds had thrived. Before whatever cataclysm had taken all of it and left the ruins they had now. Did he know what had happened? It seemed a wild chance.

Hyperborea rolled her eyes, she and Theseus had had this argument before, the old giant didn't like her bringing non knights or senshi to the wonder. She wasn't about re-litigate the argument in front of a guest.

"During my time at the academy I traveled through out much of your solar system, But your world held some of the most amazing plants and trees I had seen. Yours were an intelligent people, maybe not as advanced as Mercurians but still very impressive and well over my head." The giant said with a fond chuckle.

"That is unsurprising though unfortunate, I am glad to hear that at least its plants have returned to life." He said, happy to hear that another world he had known was clawing its way back from oblivion no doubt because the return of its guardian.

"Theseus I was going to show her the code piece." Hyperborea informed her ancestor.

"Very well shall we 'walk and talk' as it were. I would be happy to tell you what I remember but I doubt I will ever be able to truly do it justice." The giant said as Hyperborea lead the way further into the maze.

Bubbling excitement came at the opportunity to talk with someone who knew of Ida, the Ida that had existed once in it's full splendor. It's senshi asked questions as they walked, dredging up what she could of the memories that had been returned to her to see how much of it aligned with what Theseus knew.

The wishing trees, the hospital, her brother dactyl and his moonbase, the plants that grew prolific and in wild colors. The people, from all over the galaxy, who came for the healing Ida offered and the family of allied asteroids that stood apart from the Kingdom the Moon ruled over. She told him, as well, of more recent events... the slow blush of life returning to the asteroid, the rush of power that had come when she'd transcended, and the Blight that had threatened it before the effort of many had driven it off.

His visits to Ida were even more interesting than just the confirmation of what she remembered. Seeing it through his eyes, eyes that had seen a thousand years pass... it humbled and awed her. It caught her up, enough that it startled her when she remembered she wasn't on Ida, that she was here for the current knight of Hyberborea, not her ancestor, and her face colored.

"Ah, I'm sorry. You should be telling me more about this wonder... not listening to me go on about my own world."

The old giant was happy to answer the questions asked of him and to hear the excited stories of this young senshi. Although he got plenty of stories from his descendant there was only so much she could tell him so he was happy to hear from another of the goings on of worlds outside his own.

He wished now more than ever he had made a written record of all the worlds he visited, something he could pass onto the current Hyperborea. Something she could share with this new generation of senshi and knights. He wondered if any of his contemporaries had had more foresight than him. Still he could at least tell tales of his adventures to Hyperborea and her guests.

"I'm happy to hear your enthusiasm for your world, it warms my old heart. Would that every world had caring and attentive guardians like you and Kora. This galaxy would be a much better place" He assured.

"We're here." Hyperborea announced as she stepped through an archway that led into a bright chamber. In each corner of the chamber there stood a statue of a Hyperborean knight. Along the walls and floor were veins that had an iridescent glow to them. The veins met at the center of the room where a large floating resided. The crystal had a small light inside of it, about the size of a base ball, it occasionally cast rainbow light across the room.

"Ida this is the code piece of Hyperborea." Hyperborea stated motioning to the crystal which seemed radiated power and warmth.

It was something to think about. She and Hyperborea had transcendence in common, both glowing with marks on their skin as proof of deep connections with something outside of Earth. It would be amazing to see every senshi with connections as deep as Ida felt, but she wondered how possible it was. She had met people with little to no interest in the place their power came from. She'd known others who found the way she had bonded with her planet... well. An abomination, Lenka had said. It still hurt, but she pushed it firmly down.

This bond was not for everyone, even if they could hope to share what they had found with everyone.

The sight of the crystal came as a surprise, though Ida realized she didn't know what she had expected a 'code piece' to look like. For some reason, she'd thought it would look like a book, or something. She only barely understood what 'The Code' was, save that it bound Knights together, created Wonders, and gave them the power they had. It was important to keep safe, and could be corrupted, though she wondered if it could be lost the way the ascended's planet had been. The thought made her shiver.

"Its... amazing." She said as she stepped closer, standing a few steps from it to watch the crystal hover in place. The lights it threw out were lovely, and there seemed a likeness in the power it radiated with the sense she had of Hyperborea herself. It might have been wishful thinking, but she thought it anyway.

"This is the first Code piece I've seen... No one else has ever offered to show me before. I don't know if its because of the difference between senshi and Knights, but I don't blame them either, not with something so precious... Does it talk to you? I may have heard Hver say she had talked to hers before, and the one they rescued from Negaspace could talk... I think." It had been a few years since then... and the battle had been chaotic to say the least.

"My planet doesn't speak to me... not in words, really, but sometimes... I feel like I can understand emotions coming from it. A sense that its happy when I'm there, and happier when I bring people with me. I know that's probably silly... but I always sort of thought of it as some living thing that was just so... big, and so old, and slow in its thoughts that I was just too small and lived too fast to hear them properly." She smiled shyly at the admission, fiddling with the bracelets around her wrists.

"Well I'm honored to be your introduction to the Code then." Hyperborea said as she watched Ida look around the room.

"I've only spoken to this piece once and I spoke to the core piece that was rescued from the Negaverse as well, its up on the moon now." She explained choosing to leave out how the Code had been corrupted at that time. That was something she didn't think an outsider, or even the newer knights, really needed to know about the Code.

"More often its like your planet, I can feel emotions and intentions from it. I almost feel like it is encouraging me, pushing me to get stronger. Offering me guidance and peace." She said as she laid her hand on the warm crystal looking at the ball of light. "I like it here I feel energized and calm."

"I transcended here when I connected my consciousness to the code to use its power to burn away a miasma that had been polluting my wonder." She explained remembering the experience. It had almost killed her but she would do it again if it meant protecting her wonder.
