The angry yelling turned to screaming and more yelling but it was a different type as the sound of mass footsteps quicken away from them in panic. Car alarms joined in into the dissonance of sound while the bells kept on playing.


"Gaia......oh Gaia..." the boy said in stark fear as he stood there staring at the scene, making no movement to run until she grabbed his arm and dragged him. Stumbling the first few steps he ran with her, glancing back now and then as she followed after her, wondering where she was taking -him-.

"B-Blind?" It made sense now why they were running full tilt toward the broad side of a liquor store.

Speeding up he pulled at her, leading them down a straight way then turning to the right, muttering when to be careful or duck but barely losing speed as he lead her down ally's and straights until finally stopping some blocks off. "Andy?" He said out of breath "that ...that was amazing" he said with a smile that was countered by hint of fear in his eyes. "I'm Cam! So your a meta like us....but ...your so much more powerful " his voice was full of awe and no small amount of envy. "You can help us! Wait no... your blind though. " the disappointment in his voice was obvious.

"Did you get hurt fighting humans? Where they jealous? " he said calming down enough to get a better breath as his disappointment turned to curiosity. In the distance the bells had stop ringing but the sirens had taken over.

"You fought Haven?!" He shouted in disbelief then stared at her and kept staring. "Are ..you one of the Renegades? " smiling because he heard their call before, thought what they were doing was the best thing ever. Ever since one of his friends disappeared...his friends oh right. They were supposed to go after that girl.

"I'm so sorry about your wings and eyes. Haven is mean..they took one of my friend's a long time ago too. I wonder if they did the same.." he sounded forlorn for a moment before looking back up "But Haven isn't here...we're to small for their in- iner....inerdes? No... " he sounded troubled. "Interds? They don't pay attention to us. " he said finally. " Hal said that.. " he nodded as if that was law. "If you fought Haven you can still help us right? Hal says we should ask any meta who could help to come. We found a seeecrrreeeeet" he grinned moving from foot to foot. "Oh right...I'm an elf! " he grin with pride. "A meta Elf....seems that there is a difference but they don't tell me." He sighed "So! Can you come? Hal knows..he always knows " he grinned grabbing at her hand again and waiting even as he tugged it slightly.

In the distance more and more sirens sounded and the air began to smell of smoke.

"What? " he said looking back at her, his eyes alight hope. She was blind but if she was the second in command of the EE then she will definitely be able to do it. "You -can- help us! " he grinned and started pulling her in the direction they needed to go, moving further and further away from where he had originally ran into her. He wasn't going at a run but it was at least a few fast walk as they moved normally along streets before finally stopping at an old but decent brick house and knocked a couple of times.

Another kid opened the door and peered out "Cam!...where are he others? did they find her?" the younger girl said before stopping at Andy. "Whose that?" she asked warily eyeing the pale like human Cam was dragging behind him. She was pretty ... but she wasn't known.

Cam grinned at her "Help! Someone who will finally make it. I know ...come on open the door. Hal is inside right? I don't know where the other two went... but we found her and she ran off."

The girl looked unsure, glaring at Andy as she held the door close. "He said metas... she's a human"

"Nu uh. She's a Fallen.. Haven cut her wings..and blinded her. I can ...be her eyes!" he said as if the thought just suddenly came to mind and he tried to look proud even if he had not asked Andy if he could. She would need eyes and he could see..Hal will agree for sure.

"....Hal isn't going to like this..." she muttered but opened the door staring at Andy warily as Cam said nothing, trying to pull her inside.

The girl stared at the sparks and made a soft distress sound in her throat backing up as they passed before going outside and closing the door behind her.

Cam looked back with a worried look but then spotted Andy and smiled, turning to lead her through the house. Outside of the girl it was pretty empty, the smell of cigarette smoke was thick in the hair enough to cover the slight smell of sour milk coming from the kitchen. They headed to where the cigarette smoke was the thickest as Cam stopped by the door and knocked. "Hal! ...I found someone! She can definitely help!"

The feral meta turned his gaze from the TV with a flicker of surprise as he straightened then frowned as he saw who Cam had brought in. "You....." he cursed and looked toward the TV then back toward them, his eyes traveling up and down Andy with an intent gaze. "I knew today was not going to be my day" he sighed and looked down at Cam's worried face. "Not your fault, you did great. I will need to talk to Andy ..if you can go find Ruth and go get the others..." there was a pause as if he was going to say more then shook his head. "That would be great. "he nearly spat the last words out as Cam looked back at Andy. "....I...I'll be back. Unless you need me...Ruth can do it herself"

Hal flicked its tail as it he put one of the cigarette butts into the ash tray. "She's much younger than you and I need everyone to be back. Your new friend might not be happy if you don't" he warned as Cam nodded with a faint look of concern. "I'll be back!" he shouted putting Andy's hand to the door frame and moving toward the door hesitantly.

The new was set to soft:

The fire raging in downtown Nalsen, multiple people dead, others injured after an electricity based meta sent an attack into the crowded streets in front of Nalsen Mall. The attack electrocuted 3 people and set fire to a nearby building. Currently fire fighters are trying to evacute and retrain the fire from spreading but residents in the area are being told to evacuate. The meta who started the attack is described as a 5'10 female with pale skin and short black hair, within her 20's, human. Witnesses said she might be visually disabled but unable to confirm after a child lead her away right after the attack. The child is described to be 5'0 with brown hair and green eyes, between 10-13 years old, elven, Meta unknown. Last seen in an argument with a couple of metas. Police are currently on the look out for either suspect and advise the public to be careful and call 911 if they are seen.

"You could say that. I help them,keep them from being picked up by Haven isn't that what being in the Renegades means? " he said with an unamused look toward the TV. "If I knew you were going to be in town I would have had someone pick you up. Leaving you MO is just going to bring us trouble. " he said as he kept staring at her, focused on her eyes. "You look worse for wear since I last saw you... " he shook his head. "So what are you doing here...Zaku sent you? or one of the other camp leaders?" //to make you feel useful...// he sneered in his mind.

Hal just raised a brow at her statement about Haven, the only thing they didn't take away was her loud mouth. He heard rumors, when not fighting for the cause just getting into random havoc that was not something he particularly cared for, especially not now that one of the kids he was taking care of was being hunted too.

He nearly tore it into her when she asked if they were in danger, now they were due to her. Still she was his superior, and he couldn't do that like he could one of the kids he watched.

" I see.. my condolences" he said with an air that was more lip service than not. " Aside from today... not really. " there was a pause and he shook his head, wondering why she wasn't able to get her eyes healed..there had to be someone in the Renegades who could do it right?. "Actually... not exactly true. There has been quite a few disappearances recently. Mostly adult metas but some true races and even human. " he said the last with a shrug. "Everyone we sent to investigate kept going missing, we even pinpoint the general area before that informant disappeared as well" he sighed. "We don't even know what is taking them...or how they know who is a meta or not. As always humans seem to be the least affected and least caring ".

Reaching down he picked up the cigarette butt he had smashed and puffed a few more rounds, sending a fresh scent of cigarette smoke into the air. "The kids seem to be the only ones immune, for now. Had them trying to round up any wild orphan and even do a little recruiting if they could get any adult or teen metas to help. " he said with a sharp look toward her but held his tongue.

Hal frowned at her and took a deeper breath from the cigarette. "I don't think you understand. All adult renegade members in this town have gone missing except for a handful." he said sounding irritated. "Also excuse me for saying but that will be pretty hard with you blind and the police looking for you. Still if you want to go I can send someone with you. At least give you a better target than a building to set ablaze" there was a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"Well it's ignoring them for now, not sure why which made me think it wasn't Haven. Still I don' allow them to go there but I'm sure they do anyways" he let out a tired sigh. "Last informant was taken in the south west part of town near Tiller park. It's just at the edge of the city so multiple places to attack and flee from. No bodies, no ransoms, not even a slave trader from Criel has come here in the past few months. Originally it wasn't limited there it was all over town until our numbers went down rapidly 2-3 a night then it started to operate mostly from there. Again what ever it is ...we have no idea. " he sounded frustrated.

"Every target was taken outside, never inside. If you're still interested I can send Cam with you ...get you to the park at least, he has the power for it. Then have Flores, my -last- willing volunteer join you and take his place. She lost her sister to them .... she is -very- motivated to get her back. She aims you shoot?"

"I don't doubt you can do damage, but have you accepted your new limitations? ....Never mind." He narrowed his eyes slightly. " I need an hour to get Flores where ever she is. Make yourself at home" he said with a slight wave to the side as he kept staring her up and down then clench his teeth as he turned his head away andwent to the desk. Ruffling things around until he found the cell.

"You can chill in the living room until Cam is back or get something from the kitchen. " he offered as he scrolled through the numbers.
