Ashanite felt a rising storm of guilt, twisting in his chest and spreading. He felt like he was going to drown under it, but he kept his face impassive and his body language as neutral as possible, because he couldn’t crack. He couldn’t break down. He couldn’t let all of this go to waste.
Another performance of a lifetime.
“Goodbye, Whisler,” he said the name with a note of mockery, as if it were functioning as a reminder that the Knight was not who he wanted.
That was, of course, another lie.
He probably could have done it - could have reached out and grabbed Whisler’s sleeve and begged him for forgiveness, tried to make him understand that there was a reason Ashanite had tried to end things, but...no. No, he couldn’t do that. He wouldn’t be that weak, that desperate for approval, that...foolish and childish.
Instead, he gave a sweeping bow, and vanished.
They were done.

They weren’t done. Whisler was not going to let this end. Not like this. He would get his way in the end. He would get Ashanite back. Not today, maybe…but he would have him back.
No. Not Ashanite. He didn’t want Ashanite. He wanted Ploutonian. He wanted the nice little Saturn Knight.
Whisler turned his head, hoping to have been wrong when he felt the Generals aura vanish, but when he wasn’t there, the knight scoffed and began the walk back to his apartment.
He had planning to do. He had a lot to think about.
But the one thing that he knew without having to think about it was simple.
This wasn’t over.
