"Well, the thing is, I can run really fast, so I might be able to run away before you drag me there."
He stayed laying on the ground for a moment and then groaned as he pushed himself up because, no matter how much he enjoyed her stroking his hair, it was cold and unpleasant on the ground.
"My brother will find out, though. He's a police officer. I'm pretty sure he's handed out my picture to all the hospitals and demanded that if they see me, they call him immediately." Once more, he made it difficult to tell if he was exaggerating or really believed such a thing.
"Daisy," he said after a moment, seeming now like he was coming back to himself; he rubbed at his back and continued, "I am a terrible sparring partner. I am incredibly lucky the Negaverse leaves me alone most of the time. I think the trees and trash cans you were fighting were better opponents."

"A little hard to run away if your tailbone is busted, sweetie."
Once he sat up, Daisy sat a little behind him, allowing Myles something solid to lean against. Grimacing a little since she couldn't really tell him that no, his brother wouldn't really do that, she thought a moment.
"Well, what if we tell them that you tried to save me from slipping and ended up taking the fall yourself. We wouldn't be lying. Also, I am pretty sure that you can tell the hospital that you don't want anyone contacted. Unless you're super underage or obviously mental, they have to respect your privacy. Doesn't matter if your brother is a cop of not. Your wishes would supercede his."
She was fairly sure that was how it worked anyway. Still, she couldn't force him. Much as she wished otherwise.
Smiling a little at him, she sighed.
"Myles, you had an accident, that's all. You just need practice and self confidence. And yes, you are lucky they've let you be. But trust me, I've seen some of the senshi on their side. I don't want you to end up there. So, how about this. We'll train," she held up a hand to keep him from interuppting. "Together and we'll take it slow. No sparring, but just helping you get rid of some of that clumsiness. If you agree to training and to keep me updated on how you're doing, I will not force you to see a doctor. But you have to be honest with me. What do you say?"

"It's not busted," he insisted, carefully pushing himself up. He ran his hands down his back a few times for good measure. He was still half-heartedly protesting, but truthfully just wanted to reassure her that he was fine.
He might have been clumsy, but he prided himself on his durability.
...He'd be sore, and probably bruise, though, but he wasn't going to worry her about that.
"If you think you can help me get better on my feet, I'm willing to try just about anything. As long as it doesn't involve doctors," he added hastily. "I don't have any plans to join the Negaverse or anything like that, I won't let anyone do that to me. I'm used to getting into situations--I'm usually pretty good with getting out of them! But, uhm. I would like to train with you. Do you want to trade contact info?" he asked, fumbling for his cell phone. "We can hang out, and I can try to get better. But I hit my head a lot as a kid, so my balance is a little wonky sometimes. Only sometimes, though! I'm not a complete mess!"

Getting to her own feet and offering Myles a hand, Daisy nodded. At least she had some sort of promise to look after himself out of him.
"We can absolutely trade contact info," she said, reaching for her own phone. "And I promise, no doctors. As long as you're square with me. Just... be super careful the next few days? And don't try to go out as Caia right away."
She said nothing in response to him hitting his head a lot of a kid. It just seemed mean, honestly. Instead, she smiled and just glossed over it.
"Well, we can't completely train away balance issues, but we can look for ways to minimize them when you're out and about patrolling. Now. Can you make it home okay or do you want me to walk with you?"

Myles took her hand and heaved himself up; he was quick to swap information with her and then pocket his phone.
"I would appreciate all of that. Uhm--I can make it home," he assured, taking a few tentative steps before deciding that he probably wouldn't have any issue with it. "I don't live too far away, anyway. I'll be good and not power up for a little while, I'll take it easy. Just in case I hurt myself a little bit."
He rubbed his tailbone for good measure and offered one last smile. "I'll text when I get home, just so you don't have to worry about me. And we can figure out what we're doing afterwards. Maybe after a nap, because, I think, a warm bath and a nap sound really good."
His mind wandered for a second and he had to shake his head and reel himself back in. He waved to Daisy and turned quickly, before she could see him making faces of pain. He took quick, deliberate, careful steps, scrutinizing every patch of ground he stepped on before applying weight.
Home sounded really nice--and so did making a new friend, even if he'd made a fool of himself in the process.
