Noir was still shaking the hand of Crim, but noticed she is a little surprised from his answer. She started to look at him like she found some oddity as she kept a friendly face and friendly shake, he answered very honestly to her, "Nope, I lived without television. I just got my scroll from my dad just recently and came from the forest just to come here to show what I can do for everyone." He was starting to sweat out of nerves due to the fact Crim was looking at him like a criminal and he isn't a bad guy right? He knew for certain that his dad is no bad guy and he did nothing wrong Oz told him so he has no idea what's going on here from this serious girl.

spaceOpal nodded at the girl's skeptics. Carmine would be a fine team leader. It was true that determination and know-how were only a part of being a good fighter, but applying all of that was another thing. Carmine certainly seemed capable from what Opal could tell. The girl had a level head and that was key on the battlefield, "I would gladly follow you into battle." She smiled sincerely at her pale-haired companion. At Carmine's affirmation that Opal would be a good leader, Opal merely chuckled, "Well, I guess we'll cross that bridge once we get there. I look forward to it." Even though Opal agreed with Carmine's sentiment, she wouldn't say that out loud. Her high expectations of herself wouldn't let her disagree.
spaceThe redhead thought back to her time training at home with her mother and father. Never good enough. She never felt good enough. She was hoping attending Beacon might aid that feeling, maybe it would fill that void. When Carmine questioned "Noir?", Opal nodded and smiled, looking over at the pair again. The longer she looked at them, the more familiar the armor-wearing girl was. Opal tried not to stare but her identity was on the tip of her tongue, "Wait..." she spoke to herself, looking away and back at Carmine, a small look of shock on her face, "I thought she looked familiar. I think that's Crimson Armato. I've heard stories about her family legacy, both good and bad. I wonder what a prodigy is doing here of all places." Opal spoke just above a whisper, not exactly hiding what she was saying, but only truly speaking to Carmine. Truth be told, Opal had only heard really magnificent stories of the Armato's or very ridiculing ones. Still, it was odd having a person of a legendary legacy in her class at Beacon Academy. She was quite excited to see the other girl's abilities so she could form her own opinion. Opal didn't like to rely on word-of-mouth accounts of things. They were good for awareness or general knowledge, but could only really be taken with a grain of salt.
spaceOpal turned to her side so she was only leaning on one elbow, facing Carmine, "You're right, we should rest. Even if its just keeping our eyes closed until morning." Opal joined Carmine in looking around the room at their peers. Looking behind her, Elliot came into view. Was he tinkering with his gauntlets? Well, she couldn't exactly blame him. If she didn't put her javelin in her assigned locker already, Opal would probably be doing the same thing. The redhead chuckled alongside her friend, "I know, with all the energy floating around in here, its a wonder anyone is even trying to sleep. But, the sooner we do, the sooner tomorrow will come." Opal rested her head in her hand, elbow still propping her up. She slid her eyes shut and a dreamy smile graced her face, "I can't wait to be tested tomorrow."

CRIMSON ARMATO -Student- --Beacon Academy-- ~The Heiress to Nihility and Hyperbole~
"Without television?... a forest? Like, a faunus or something in some cabin? You certainly don't look like you came from humble beginnings, but then again... ya look much more fit than most I've seen here so far... I didn't have some of the niceties either, but it's cause my parents didn't believe in polluting our minds." Crimson kept shaking his hand rhythmically not letting go looking at him squarely still and leaning forward just an inch looking upwards slightly to him. "It's good ya feel that way, hopefully ya can do a lot, espesially if we end up on a team, can't have any extra weight dragging good fighters like us down." She said although still looking and shaking. Not letting go at all.
