Kimberly had to think a moment before she could actually answer the question. If phrased wrong it would give away that they were not from Halloween. "Um, it is a .. human song I heard once, something from a show from the past called.. Annie." Would that make sense?
She shrugged a bit and then laughed softly. "It is weird, I mean, I feel like I have known you longer than just this bit of time." She waved one hand. "I spent a lot of time on the streets though, never really staying anywhere."
She flipped a plate in her hands before tossing it to the side to be dried. "If it is any easier you can dry and stack. I am far too used to doing this." She grinned a bit and flicked out the extending sink hose. "This place is set up to do a lot of dishes fast." With a wink she turned the water up and started to nearly power spray the dishes down.
"It's a hard-knock life for us!
It's a hard-knock life for us!
'Stead of treated,
We get tricked!
'Stead of kisses,
We get kicked!
It's a hard-knock life!
Got no folks to speak of, so,
It's the hard-knock row we hoe
Cotton blankets
'Steada wool
Empty Bellies
'Steada full!
It's a hard-knock life!"
