Her eyes were still wide with wonder as he nudged her forward, head tilting up where she had directed. She smiled when she spotted her constellation on the ceiling, closing her eyes to try and imagine what the dome had looked like newly completed. The excitement in her cousin's voice helped-- Knowing that he had a memory of some sort and had wanted her to see this for a reason did as well. "I bet it was incredible when it was new-- Not that it isn't incredible now." Her eyes opened as she looked to her cousin again. "This is amazing."

"The glass was perfectly clean and clear and all the paint was gold so it shimmered. And once a year at the new year festival everything would line up with the sky." Which if that wasn't his favorite part in the past it certainly was now. Knowing they'd been able to do that and that some of it still existed was more than he could have hoped for. He wished Cordy could see it but he didn't know if she could even have memories here or how she'd react to them. "The storage underground is better but I have my camp over here so you can put your bag down before I show you more." He headed over toward one of the old side rooms where he'd set up his little base.

"And you know all of this just from visiting this place?" Her brows lofted, finding it both hard to believe and entirely believable all at once. It wasn't as though they hadn't been given opportunities to recall things before... At the Surrounding there had been an entire room filled with momentos of things from Senshis past. "You actually went out and bought camping gear to leave behind here?" She couldn't help but grin as he lead her to his based of operations, setting the bag she'd brought down near one of the camp chairs before turning to look to him once more. "This is still absolutely incredible."

"Being here makes me have, i guess their visions. I see things from the past sometimes. Usually it's just little flashes and nothing's very detailed but the more I'm up here the more I see. It's like the place is trying to tell me something about who I was." He nodded as he picked up a couple of the heavy duty flashlights so they could head underground. He nodded at her other question. ".... i actually went on a couple dates with the guy who helped me buy the first chunk of stuff. This has all been amassed over the last five years so, yea." It had been harder getting some of it up but he'd made himself a nice little home away from home. "This is why you need to go to Corvus. Could be something just as incredible there."

"Dates with the guy from the camping supply store and you didn't tell me about it?" It was only too easy to tease Lucien about things like that, soft smirk on her lips as she leaned against a stone pillar. It was good seeing him so alive about something. "Senshi of Vengeance. I'm assuming there's nothing good there-- Destruction, ruin, remnants of violence from years past. Can anything good really come from that?"

"It was only a couple. He was a little to ...outgoing for me." He had been nice but the things they were into were far different since he wasn't -really- into the outdoors like it seemed. "Here, take this and we can do down into the archives." He motioned for her to follow him. One of the staircases down wasn't too far from his camp. "There might be something there." The woman from his memories that he knew was Cordelia had always seemed happy enough.

"I'll keep that in mind. I know I can't just... Avoid it forever while I'm encouraging Celsus to continue visiting his Wonder and supporting you and all of your endeavors here." Her fingers wrapped around the LED lantern he'd held out to her, testing it to make sure that the batteries worked before following him. "I trust you've been up and down these stairs multiple times?"

"Five years Cordy. I found this place at the beginning of year two so yes. I've been up and down them a lot. I'll show you the maps later." With the flashlight on he headed around the room he'd made his camp in to another door which hid the stairs. It was still a bit musty, no amount of airing out the place had helped really, but it was a lot nicer than he'd expected. Rotting books could be horrible but most of the books down underground were still in good condition. They were a little yellowed and some had started to disintegrate but most were still proper old books.

"They must have sealed this area off if the books are still in a better condition than 'crumbles the moment you touch them'. Have you brought a scanner up to start cataloguing anything?" Could you even do that with magic? "You would have to leave the drive here-- Wouldn't do to let any of it leak out, but... What if you did show a page to someone? See if they'd have any luck at a translation..." She knew that was a terrible idea and had no idea why she was suggesting it. Certainly Luc had thought of it himself and decided against it... The latter part, at least.

"I've thought about it but I haven't started doing it yet. You can use a phone camera as a scanner now but I don't want this kind of information laying around on my phone and it's not like you can download apps on our senshi phones." He snorted slightly as he brushed his fingers along some of the books. That was his plan though. He just had to figure how to do it. "If anyone can read it it would be a cat I would think. No one else would have been around long enough or have access to that sort of thing." Somehow he doubted that the Mauvians were going to be able to translate things either though. "If we can't translate it though we can start over again. I've been making maps of the city here and we could start compiling the knowledge we have and," He waved an arm around, "Somewhere to store it that no one else can get to and kept books safe for who knows how long."

"So what you're telling me is that for Christmas I should look into helping you make an investment in a portable scanner and a drive you can connect to your laptop and leave here between trips." She had enough money in savings that she could put some towards that for her cousin, especially since he'd gotten his own place and she didn't have to worry about moving somewhere larger to accommodate a roommate herself. "I'm afraid that I'm fresh out of any information on cats or where to find them. The last ones that I saw weren't exactly useful anyways." She snorted softly, shaking her head slowly.

"That would be really useful and maybe someone, somewhere, can translate something. If we could just get a bit of this knowledge back .... can you imagine how much it would help us?" All the history and teachings that he knew was locked away in the archives. "I haven't seen any of them since I came back so hoping they can help is probably a pipe dream."

"While that would be wonderful I think there's a higher probability of all of us on the side of Order holding hands and making vows of peace than to suddenly regain all that we had before." Her hand came up, tucking a strand of hair that had fallen free from her ponytail. "They've never stayed around for long-- Only long enough to power you up in an emergency, and not like anyone ever holds them accountable." He snorted softly, shaking his head slowly.

"I still think we can regain some of it and the rest we can rebuild. Somehow." He didn't know -how- but there had to be a way. "Getting rid of the Negaverse is more important. But once that's done." Who was to say they couldn't rebuild lives out here. Everyone would benefit if they could get even a little bit of the old kingdoms back. He led her down into the archives, glad that the large flashlights he'd gotten illuminated a good bit of space around them.

She hadn't brought anything down with her to keep track of time while Lucien showed her around the lower levels of the library, taking a delight in it that she hadn't felt anything similar to since they were children exploring the woods near a cabin on family vacations. It was only when her stomach growled that she paused, giving her cousin a gentle nudge. "I'm sure you could stay down here forever, Luc... But what do you say we get something to eat? Recharge our batteries a little?"
