"Don't give them time to recover!" The lieutenant didn't seem to have any good weapons on them so either they'd given up on their joke or they were just keeping it hidden. Either way if Caliban's attack required being close he needed to stay that way. Keeping an enemy off balance was for the best. The distance did give him an opportunity though. Knowing he could hit his companions meant that he prefered to only attack someone when that was less likely. Taking the moment he pulled out a flint stick and lit it from the lantern in his hand. If Caliban was smart he would keep out of the way of the fireballs and wait for the Nega agent to be distracted to attack again. Quote: Dancing Lights! Reveal! Unfortunately Caliban had just heard his mentors words before he managed to trip himself over a box that had been lying in the alleyway and fell backwards. Luckily he managed to land on his behind and didn't hurt his arms or his legs. While that meant the lieutenant could get to him easier, it also meant that he had managed to dodge his mentor's attack, and so wasn't hurt by 'friendly fire' so to say. He watched as the fireballs flew through the air, but managed to catch himself in time and quickly got up from his position, waiting for another chance to attack. He was slightly jealous that Arisnoe got a ranged magic attack.

He cursed quietly when Caliban tripped but there was a silver lining. One of his orbs had collided with the Lieutenant leaving them flailing as they tried to pat the fire out of their coat. Darting over to where the other senshi was he held out a hand to help haul him up. "Gotta watch your footing and I can't do that again for a bit so rest might be up to you." He had to let his lantern recharge and no matter how much he tried he was still pretty useless in a fist fight. He was too breakable and he'd never quite gotten over the broken ribs from years ago.

Caliban was appreciative of the help, but was a bit worried since the other senshi had said he couldn't help for a while. Caliban could use a bow and arrow well enough, but actually fighting someone else? He had never done anything like that before. But he did have magic on his side... "All right then." Well, what else could he do at this point? He readied himself, trying to get in position to fight the agent. The agent seemed to be a bit distracted still, and Caliban used this opportunity. Running up to the agent he held his fist out. "Seal Away!"He hoped that he would land a hit. Just because he swung his fist out didn't mean he would make his target. Quote: When Caliban hits an opponent with one of his fists, it causes the opponent to be temporarily paralyzed, where the opponent was hit (either the whole arm, whole leg, or torso+head), for 15 seconds. Can be used twice in battle period.

Caliban's hit landed, striking the lieutenant in the arm, and Arsinoe grinned as he saw the agent's limb go slack. He was running into a lot of Senshi who seemed to be able to do things like that and he was wondering if more 'defense' ones were being awakened than offense. The agent screamed out a few curse words as they scrambled back, tripping on their feet and ending up on their backside on the ground. He caught up with Caliban again, looking down at the agent who was still trying to pull themselves back up to their feet. "You know they should die right? Chaos can't be allowed to get a foot-hold." He doubted the newer senshi would be ready to jump into that deep end but ... one never knew.

Caliban's eyes widened at what Arsinoe had said. Killing someone? He hadn't signed up for that! Well, he didn't sign up at all really, but he decided to continue to be a senshi so that he could help people. It was one thing to kill a monster but another person. He couldn't do it. "I... I can't do that. But, if you feel that you have to... you can do it. I just won't watch." Did that make him a bit of a coward? Maybe. But he was brand-new to all of this and killing someone just wasn't something that he wanted to do. Sure, he had heard that the Negaverse was bad, but worth killing over?

"You'll have to get over that eventually." He set a hand on Caliban's shoulder as he watched the negaverse agent scramble away from them. He could at least save traumatizing the newbies for another time. "Most of them will not hesitate to kill you if they get the chance, especially the stronger ones." He didn't really want to run newbies off but it was a fact of this life. The Negaverse wanted them dead. "After a while they're not people anymore. They're just monsters."

"R-Right..." Caliban was still unsure, but he would defend himself if he had to. But he wasn't about to go and kill someone who hadn't shown any signs of wanting to kill him, the agent had only just attacked them. "I'll keep that in mind." He replied, nodding towards the other. He didn't doubt Arsinoe he just hadn't seen a serial killer in the lieutenant that they had just fought. He sighed though, feeling drained after the fight. "Well, that was interesting at least. First time fighting an agent though." He had only fought youma before all of this. Grymoire One last post from both of us?

"It's hard at first to think of it that way, I didn't see it at first either." He hooked his lantern back on his belt and grinned slightly. "Until the first few tried to kill me. Kinda glad I haven't seen any of them around lately but ..." He knew the Negaverse wouldn't be completely free of those people now. "Lesson for later though, hm? You did good for your first fight against an agent. Youma can be tougher sometimes so if you've been fighting them I'm sure that helped." He remembered what it was like being new. "If you need help or want help practicing more you can always call me. Should get home though, it's getting late and the area feels clear." He was tired enough and knew he should get inside before he spent all night out. "I'll see you another time."

It was nice that Arsinoe had decided not to kill the agent in front of Caliban. He didn't need that imagery. He nodded and grinned back, glad that he was able to do something to help and that he had actually done a good job. "I'll keep that in mind." The agent didn't seem to want to kill them though, and he wasn't sure he could do kill one until he knew his life was in danger. "Thanks though." He really did like the praise. He had never really been one for fighting before. "I'll keep your contact info then, and thanks for the offer. I'll probably need some more practice later." And he couldn't feel any other auras in the area either, so they were probably good to go at this point. Caliban waved back to the other senshi. "I'll see you again then." He replied, before darting off in the direction of his apartment, but not before making a quick stop to power down. Grymoire And that's it from me, thanks so much for the rp!
