At the count of three Dior waited and… nothing?? A strange sound and, that’s it? She released the breath she hadn’t realized she had been holding and then looked up at Rowan. The witch on the other hand was smiling even wider. She laughed merrily at the unexpected quack.
“They say life is full of surprises! That’s the third one for today are you trying to dig me in?” she pretended to still her heart. She looked at the picture and sighed contently. “Now Zeke I’ll have you know if this doesn’t make it into my nephew’s email I will be back here for more,” she raised an eyebrow.
Dior looked at the picture and then at the spot she had been. “Magic,” she whispered looking back again. “Another!” she told him and went back to the spot that was good for pictures. She folded her hands neatly in front of her ribbon and smiled this time. Then she changed her pose a bit, bring her fingers up to her lips looking as if she were keeping a secret.
After a few minutes Rowan clapped her hands. "Alright Dior I know you're having fun, but it's rather late and we don't want the snow to prevent us from going home," she made a note to ask her nephew for the old camera he used to have.
Dior hummed, but first she wanted to see what Zeke had conjured up.

"Dig you in? No never!" He put a hand to his heart then raised it with an innocent shake of his head. He laughed again. "If his email is the one listed in your contact information then consider it there as soon as possible! But don't threaten me with a good time now, you hear? I rather enjoy your company!"
The Frei was enthralled with the picture but her declaration of it being magic drew Zeke's gaze. He was about to explain but she was quick to demand another photo and go and pose - complete with a smile this time too!
"Well if the lady insists!" He happily snapped a couple more shots with each pose the Cockroach girl provided, grinning all the while. She was quite the amusing sort so quick off the bat!
"Ah yeah the snow's supposed to get bad later; better to get you both home before that happens!" He put down his makeshift camera but not before pulling up the photos for Dior to view. "I'll make sure you get them so you can keep them forever, how about that, Dior?"
He hoped she wouldn't mind a little wait. By the time they got home each one would be safely tucked into an email for them to print and do with as they liked. He himself would show Anya when he got home - maybe seeing a new Frei before meeting them would spark off an interest purely off her pretty appearance alone!
"Let me just sign my name to this last form here and I'll see you two out." Tucking his phone away, Zeke reopened Dior and Rowan's folder and did just that, giving an affirming "And...done!" just before closing the cover yet again. From there he let them out of the room first, then guided them down the hall and back to the lobby.
"Alright here we are!" He put the folder down on his desk before spinning to face them one last time, hand outstretched to Rowan first then Dior. "Thank you for the lovely time, Rowan. It's been great meeting you and I hope we can get together again, next time with my Raevan in tow! And as for you, Dior, it's been nice meeting you as well. You be a good girl for your Guardian, alright? You're family now!"

Rowan swatted his hand while laughing. “I think by now there’s no doubt about good company! You’ll have to come by for tea one day I’m sure we’ll have many stories to share. I, for one, would love to hear about your own lovely raevan and it would be good to get some friendships rolling.” She nodded and tucked in Dior’s hair insider her sweater. It was a good thing she had one as it was chilly outside.
Dior tugged on the drawstrings on either side and completely sealed her face off. Her bright green eyes peered at Zeke earnestly. “Forever sounds good!” She wanted a phone just like the one Zeke had so she could have more pictures.
Rowan ushered her onwards towards the outside. Behind the glass doors Dior could see the snow everyone had been talking about. The door was rather cold and so she tucked her hands in the pockets of her sweater.
“Thank you so much for everything Zeke. You’ve been a dear and again you’re always welcomed to come visit! Ah there’s the cab, if you’ll excuse me I would hate to keep the driver waiting with the weather and all. Come along Dior the snow will last all night. Say goodbye.”
“Goodbye Zeke,” she replied.
As before Rowan went up to him and placed a kiss on both his cheeks. She would have to teach Dior all this in due time but for now a nice warm cozy fireplace was waiting.
“Enjoy the rest of your evening Zeke, farewell!” Out the door they went with Dior staring at the sky in wonder. She took a last peek over her shoulder to see the green hair man, briefly wondering why he wasn't coming too. “I hope you like your new home Dior, it’s a pleasure and an honor having you in our lives.” She brought her close for a hug and Dior wrapped her arms around her too. This was nice, she could get used to this.
