"It's always good to feel that way towards one you care about." She offered kind words towards him. Her ears twitched slightly at his words and she gave a nod. "That's the best way to go sometimes. There are times where I do not even know where I might end up but that is where the best stories come from." Plenty of her family didn't do much traveling but she loved it. There was so much to see and experience. "Do you have a travel companion?" She asked him curiously, whether it was another soquili or even a familiar she wanted to know.

Caelius nodded to her question, though his answer probably wasn't quite what she was asking. "I do. My good friend Apollux is rarely from my side." he paused and smiled. "Except of course, for now. Every now and then some personal space is much needed." he said, chuckling softly. The stallion cast his gaze towards the sky, watching the clouds and feeling the soft breeze tickle his muzzle. "He'll be back tonight I imagine however." he mused, tilting his head towards the mare. "Do you travel often?" he asked, curious. She seemed like she had more to bind her to one place than he did, but then one could never judge a book by its cover, or so they say.

"Having a traveling companion is always nice. Daring is somewhere, he's mine. He can't fly though so we travel at different speeds or meet up at different locations." She rambled a bit there and gave a soft, apologetic look. "I do travel quite a bit. I don't see why so many don't."
It truly was remarkable to her that some just stayed in one spot for so long. How boring that must be, you'd never learn about anything outside of that location. "You always meet such interesting folks." That's what she believed anyway, so far she hadn't really come across anyone that she might consider dull or even violent. She could just be getting lucky though. Wondering where Daring might be she gave a glance about to see if perhaps he might have followed her but she didn't think he'd travel this far just to find her. She usually stuck to area's he was familiar with.

Ah so she did travel quite often! Perhaps sometime, he'd have to listen to her tales. "Aah, I guess lucky for Apollux, he can fly. Though sometimes he prefers to hitch a ride." he mused, chuckling. That silly bird never allowed a dull moment to creep in. There was always something he had to tease or nag Caelius about. "Perhaps next time these two shall be present?" he grinned, shaking his head in a playful manner.

As she listened to him talk she smiled, he had said next time, so perhaps they would meet again soon? She hoped they would at any rate, she was quite liking his company even if it was going to be fleeting. Looking towards the sky for a moment she thought of something. "Would you care to join me for the night? Dusk is approaching and I'm not sure how far you have to travel to get to shelter. I know a place not to far from here." She didn't want to push it on him or anything but they could tell tales of their travels to pass the time until dawn came again.

Caelius glanced towards the sky, near pure white gaze watched the clouds sift by slowly, their colors change from bright blues to deep purples. Soon the sky would become dark as black and only the light of the moon and twinkling stars to guide them. He glanced back towards the way he had come before returning his gaze to her thoughtfully. "It is a bit of a distance, though I've traveled much at night I did promise Apollux I'd remain in the area." he said with a smile before gently nodding his head. It wasn't often he got to share stories with another. His brother.... even for all the good times, usually stays with his mate rather than listen to a half brother's stories. Shaking the thoughts from his mind, Caelius smiled yet again. "I would be honored." he nodded, flexing a wing or two as he waited for her to lead on.

Fea Line do you want to do a second rp? We can probably wrap this one up here after your next post? "At least your companion knows where to locate you." She could understand wanting to stay in a certain location if that was what the pair had agreed upon previously. "It's not too far away so you'd be keeping your word and I'm sure he'd be able to track you down easily enough." She offered to him. Seeing as he was agreeing to accompany her she gave him a warm smile and led the way. It wasn't more than a few minutes walk and she flicked her small tail behind her gleefully as the caves entrance came into view. "It's plenty big so we'll have lots of room to move around and it seemed to be someone had been in there not too long ago but have since moved on." She added since there was some bedding location already placed within it that had long since been cold.

Caelius chuckled. He wasn't sure how the bird always managed to find him but sure enough, Apollux usually did. "I'm not sure what 'magic' that bird uses, but its rare he fails to locate me." he mused, placing a silly emphasis on the word magic. Of course his bird companion couldn't use magic but he did have some rather good eye sight and keen senses. "Even so, I'm sure he would understand. He'd probably be delighted to meet you rather..." the stallion mused in thought as he followed after the mare. Soon they came to the cave and he strode forward, glancing around inside. Sure enough it looked previously used, yet abandon. "Well, I hope they don't mind we borrow it for a bit then." he smiled as he flared out a wing to allow her to pass first. It would due to spend the night in, keeping them safe from the weather, at least for one night anyways. In the morning... who knew where his hooves would take him.

Finding a spot to make herself comfortable she laid down and smiled warmly towards him. "If you want we can share a spot so it's warmer. It tends to get cold but not as cold as it would be if we were out there." She said looking towards the entrance. Making herself comfortable she left the option open for him to lay next to her if he wished, she wouldn't press the matter. It was survival skills to huddle next to one another for warmth. Plus she wasn't one to "try" anything. "I hope you rest well." She offered him kindly.
