Three days have passed since the Cornerstone's awakening.
Though much has changed, much has stayed the same. The worlds have continued in the chaos of current events, dramas and clashes happening across the Convergence. The forces of Darkness have been busy, but offensively silent, causing more concern than relief. What is happening beyond the veil? What new horrors might Xehanort and his fellow vessels unleash in the coming days?
For these reasons the Earthlings have been pushed. Trained and tutored, they no longer resemble the green survivors of chance from over a week prior; they now take the mantles of 'hero' and wear them well, fitting among other warriors from across the worlds that have joined the cause of Light. In some way, this change is as much a loss as it is growth; only by shedding some of the last vestiges of their old home were they finally able to integrate fully into this new cosmos.
But it is still for their people that they have fought, and practiced, and persisted, and for the hope of a shining return that they have passed Yen Sid's final test: saving the citizens of a small, trapped world, and freeing them from a time-locked state. They passed a trial that Yen Sid himself had erred on in decades past, and so their year of compressed mentorship has come to an end.
Now content to let them loose upon the world again, the Masters and Wise Ones have called an end to their training, and allowed them to consider a fortuitous invitation: the Gods of Olympus have come calling, wishing for the heroes of Disney to partake in the various tests of skill in this universe's very first Olympics. Most warriors have had the past few weeks to prepare and test themselves against the various placement trials, but the Disney troupe are given a free pass; their tests of mettle have been seen already in their endeavors this past week.
So those that wish to partake--or at least get out of town for awhile--arise on this eleventh morning. They will leave shortly after breakfast, while any who decide to stay or pursue other ventures will be allowed to do so.
During the midst of their training, the Guardian of Light's essence had slowly restored itself, particularly due to their proximity to the Earthlings. As a result, the protective aura of light that they exuded had spread once more beyond the borders of Disney and into the adjacent worlds. The lock-down of magic barriers had been dropped by the ninth day's noon as a result, though extra protections had been established to prevent unwarranted Geist incursions.

[ Sora ; Donald ; Goofy ; Yen Sid ; Riku ; Kairi ; Mickey : Disney : Castle Hangar ]The past three days--though it had felt more akin to a year--had come and gone. The Keyblade Master felt closer to the others than ever before. They were a chaotic bunch, true, and it had been nearly impossible to really find genuine cohesion with so many people, but the Earthlings had grown to be fast friends to Sora.
So that had made last night's farewells particularly difficult.
After the group's successful graduation exam--the salvation of the time-locked Toon World--Sora had had to break the news: he was heading off on a mission of his own with Donald and Goofy.
It had been bittersweet news for himself, too. After a great swathe of timeless time together, he'd considered them almost like family--not quite like Riku or Kairi, but close. Plus, the Olympics! How much fun would it be, fighting against champions from all over the worlds? To be told that the Keyblade wielders shouldn't participate was a damper, even if it did make sense: if the Keybladers should beat the Earthlings, then that would undermine the group at large, but if the Earthlings should beat the Keybladers, it would instill total doubt in the Keyblade order.
Plus, he'd also missed Donald and Goofy, his first teammates, the ones who'd found him, practically raised him among the worlds, and stood by his side at many of his darkest moments. As such, being told that the three of them would come back together was exciting!
So there, early in the morning after the Earthling's graduation celebration, the old trio met down in the castle hangar with Yen Sid, who had brought along Riku, Kairi, and Mickey for final good luck's.
It was a smart move, Sora thought, smiling at Yen Sid from the hangar window. Make sure Sora knew what was waiting for him back home; make sure the last thing he saw was the two people he wanted most to protect. The old sorcerer was crafty, but the young man took no offense--there had also been compassion in his choice, he knew.
So, with a small wave and reassuring smile, he turned his gaze toward the horizon, with the sun slowly rising in the east.
"Time for another adventure!"
And just like that, the small, refit ship was off.

The young sorcerer walked down the castle halls, exiting the living quarters wing onto the long, open walkway to the throne room's massive doors. As he did, though, he yawned, stopping to look over the balcony at the garden courtyard. Brooms swished this way and that; some various soldiers-on-break lazed about on the lawns, chatting amongst themselves. They noticed him and waved; he waved back, simply taking in the morning air.
He'd never felt as simultaneously prepared and unprepared as he did right now. School graduations were close, true, but nothing quite like the idea of taking on the world at large in a literal sense.
Still, he took a long, slow breath, tasting the magic on the breeze. He was comfortable. Confident, but not arrogant. And today was the day they'd all be testing themselves out in the real world. It was one thing to have some experienced people say they were ready, and another thing to actually discover it. After all, even during their most dangerous of trials, there were always controls, always just-in-case measures--especially during the final exam.
There would be no safety nets out there.
He smiled, chuckling to himself half-heartedly.
"Maybe just focus on breakfast," he muttered, shaking his head and turning finally to walk toward the gargantuan double doors, which were closed save for the small door openings in the middle. He wasn't sure who was already up and eating, and who would be arriving after him. All he knew for sure, as usual, was that Genie would be up serving a storm of breakfast and brunch food.

[Joseph: Disney: Joseph's Room -> Castle Halls]
The white mage lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling. His hair was loose, all over the place on the bed around his head, and because of that, he was somewhat dreading trying to get up. He didn't want to get up and be on his hair, causing that painful jerk....
But, with a resigned sigh from someone who wished they could've slept longer but knew they were up for the day, he got up. Thankfully he wasn't on his hair, but the motion was slow and careful, just in case.
Honestly he was somewhat...he wasn't sure. Worried? Tense? Anticipatory? They completed their training, and they were going out, back to help and save. And this time, Joseph was going to be more of a healer than an attacker.
He flicked his finger and a small, pitiful orb of light sprinkled out, going out and then down as it faded into nothingness. Healing was normally plant based, here...but he was Light based. Which meant he could dish out the hurt if it came to it. But...healer and offense that's strong against the Darkness...? He was going to be a target. Hence why he prepared. Maybe too well or too much, he knew a lot more than one might think. Or expect.
With another resigned sigh, the male stretched. He combed his fingers through his hair, then his water magic to straighten it out, followed by a ring of water to tighten it into a ponytail before the dress sphere added the leather band to hold it in place. His clothes appeared, his robe over them flowing about as he moved with the armor for battle he usually wore not restricting it. And, after deciding to keep his hood down, he left his room.
Breakfast was calling. And he was in the mood for some eggs.

{Bobbi .:. Disney Castle .:. Throne/Dining Hall}
As per usual when she was excited or nervous about something, Bobbi was up at least three hours before she truly wanted to be. It had been an annoying habit back home, and it had apparently carried over to this new world. Before heading down to breakfast, she had spent at least two hours tossing and turning in an attempt to get back to sleep; she figured she'd probably need as much of it as she could get today. But it eluded her, so she gave up.
Now, she sat at a table nursing a hot cup of tea, a half-eaten plate of bacon, sunny-side-up eggs, and cinnamon pancakes in front of her. She'd been steadily picking at it over the last half hour as her metabolism started to catch up with the rest of her body. Even after all of that training, even with her body in the best physical condition it had ever been in for the entirety of her life, she still couldn't eat within the first couple hours of waking up. Not without feeling sick all day. A steady, gentle stream of her magic kept both her food and her tea nice and warm as she took her dear sweet time eating. When Kyle walked in, she raised her cup to him, waving with the fingers not necessary to holding it, and smiled.
"Mornin', Kyle," she said with sleepy cheer. "Sleep alright?"

[Feather: Disney: Feather's Room]
Feather's still asleep. Why? Because there is one thing Feather knew they forgot and it was an alarm clock. So Feather slept on dead to the world with their half light and half heavy sleep style. They will probably get up when their internal clock wakes them up....which is probably gonna not happen.
Oh well, they will catch up to everyone soon...right?

Sayrike hated being nervous. Sleep was restless, and she was sure this morning's breakfast was going to be tasteless. Even so, she knew she should try and get something in her stomach. The kitchens had grown accustomed to the odd request here and there from the Earthlings, so when Sayrike asked for and described a fruit smoothie, the cooks didn't bat an eye and quickly complied. She didn't think she could handle solid foods this early in the morning.
She brought her drink and walked to the tables. Bobbi was already sitting down, picking at her food, when Kyle walked in. Even though she wasn't feeling as bright as the smile she put on, Sayrike piped up, "Good morning you guys!" (Fake it 'til you make it she thought to herself.) Some conversation might do better than breakfast at this point, just so she could take her mind off of participating in the Olympics. "You guys excited about today?"

Kyle gave those already in the hall a light wave and half-smile.
"Well as ever, really," he replied to Bobbi as he took his usual seat along the benches. "That is, waking fairly regularly, but only for a few minutes at a time, and still coming to rested enough."
"And if by excited you mean shades of terror, anxiety, giddiness, and stress, then yes," he replied to Sayrike, sheepishly chuckling. "I suppose 'excited' generally applies to all of those, after all. You guys?"

[Noelle ~ Disney ~ Throne Room] The patter of footsteps sounded from down the hall outside the throne room, and from the sound of it the person creating the patter was booking it. It was Noelle. Noelle was booking it. She slid into the throne room, almost sliding right past the large double doors, and dove underneath the table where some where already sitting. If anyone were paying any attention, they would have noticed her grab a piece of toast mid dive.
"I'm not here I'm not here I'm not here munch munch crunch I'm not here."

Moments after Noelle's panicked run into the throne room and attempt at hiding, loud rapid stomps came following behind as a rather irate Nicholas dashed into the hall. His face was locked into a state of rage, the source quite apparent. Smeared atop his forehead was the mostly still intact remnants of a drawing of DickButt, and in Nicholas' left hand, held a crumpled note with the only thing visible was a drawing of a small bird.
"Where. Is. She!?" He hissed through gritted teeth, making his way to the large dining table and glancing around. He would get revenge if it was the last thing he did.

Dawn entered the Throne Room shortly after Nicholas. As she had been leaving her room, the girl heard the noise coming from Nick's room. So Dawn had been expecting to see him raging sooner or later about whatever got his panties in a bunch. This kind of behavior, totally normal.
"What did you do this time Nich?" Dawn said directly from behind him with her arms crossed, "Isn't a little early in the morning for this?"

Kyle grinned as he felt Noelle's essence approaching, and turned to smile toward her--only to look befuddled as she swiftly dove under the table to hide.
Then he felt Nicholas approaching almost as quickly, and sighed... until he saw the other man's face. Then he snorted, his face twisting to hide his grin and instead becoming some weird, constipated expression which he only managed to hide after a few seconds.
"Okay okay, pause," he said, lifting a hand and waving it slightly to calm the man down. "If you hold still, I'll get it for you."
The other man gave him a suspicious glare, to which Kyle's expression deadpanned.
"It's going to be our first day back out in the public eye besides our nightly visits into town," he said, pursing his lips, "I'm not letting you out and about like that, funny or not."
Nicholas finally acquiesced, and Kyle reached out somewhat, his eyes glinting a slight green. Focusing on the ink, he curled his fingers slightly as if to grab something in the air and began to twist his hand counterclockwise at a snail's pace. The smeared ink began to revert back to its fresh appearance, and then began to un-trace itself, the actual liquid pooling up into the shape it might have taken inside a marker. When it was all finally off the other's head, he let Nicholas know to back up before closing his fist, burning the ink in a small spark of magic.
"There. Now, breakfast without the faux-rage at a fun prank, yes?" he mused, turning back to his plate while keeping a slight smirk as he side-eyed the man.

Sayrike gave a weak smile in response to Kyle's description of "excited." "Yeah, that sounds about right," she nodded. "The perfect cocktail for an upset stomach and shaky hands."
A second later, Noelle came sprinting in and dove beneath their table, not giving enough time for Sayrike to say hello. The source of Noelle's flight stormed into the room soon after, trailed by Dawn. "A good morning to the both of you," Sayrike said between sips of her smoothie as Kyle removed the drawing from Nicholas' face. She tried to catch Nicholas' eyes, and subtly pointed down with a single finger that wouldn't be caught by the others. "I don't know how you kids have this much energy in the morning..." she laughed.

...Pass molinello outside, pass molinello inside, pass molinello inside...
Pommel strike, cut, back to position, rise...
"...done." he whispered, dismissing his weapons. Over the course their training, Joe had taken to getting up earlier then the other to practice his forms. It was a little ritual that he developed to help clear his mind and focus on the day ahead. Some people could meditate by sitting still and thinking about trees, but he preferred methods that were a bit more kinetic. Plus, on a day like today it was a good idea to keep his form in top shape. He hadn't been in a tournament in ages and he wanted to make a respectable appearance, both for his own sake and for the others. Speaking of the others, Joe turned his eyes downward and noticed that they were finally beginning to make their way into the hall. There was Kyle, Joseph, Bobbi, Sayrike, Noelle, Nick angry at Noelle for something... Yeah, that was enough. It was time for him to enjoy a meal with his friends. Besides, while he could technically drink a cup of coffee while upside down, the focus required killed his ability to enjoy it. With that thought behind him, Joe unmoored his legs from the ceiling and fell down towards the table. Halfway through the drop, he flipped into a siting position and reached out bellow him for an empty chair. chair secure, he lifted it up and rested comfortably in it before lightly lowering himself down onto the ground at the table next to the others. Just like normal people were supposed to eat.
"Morning everyone." he said, floating some steak, eggs, and coffee onto his plate. "Took me a while to find a place to do my forms this morning, but I managed. Ceiling up there is quite peaceful once you get used to the perspective change. You all should try it when you get the chance."

[Dani :~: Disney :~: Dani’s Room -> Castle Halls]
Due to the commotion going on outside, Dani woke up with a loud groan on her part in her room. She slowly turned from being on her side to her back as she sat up a little bit. She took stock of her room for a couple minutes before she felt her stomach rumble. “Guess that is my queue to get up,” Dani said to herself as she climbed out of the bed.
She went over to the mirror in her room looking at herself before using the dress sphere to cloth herself in her normal wear that she had gotten during the fight during the last major fight. After making sure she looked alright she opened the door and peered out slowly, noticing Joseph down the hall.
“Well… seems like this morning is loud,“ Dani spoke loud enough for Joseph to hear as she moved towards him. She then suddenly paused, smirking at him as she concentrated on him. Within a flash, Dani used Aetherial Manipulation to travel to Joseph.
Dani immediately afterwards held out her hand to Joseph. “I am not sure about you but,” Dani spoke a bit more quietly. “I am a little bit hungry. Shall we go join the chaos that is breakfast?”
