It was a bit of a pain working with everyone like this. "Kain is right. And we have warning this time... which we didn't last time. DMA 'students' are different from DWMA ones, anyway. We have some high ranked kishin and demons among the DMA that can easily create barriers to guard the city,"[/b] Charlotte explained. Death crossed his arms as he glanced over towards Naomi "Regardless, we have to try... The other issue with this event is the possibility that Saint Clara will be making an appearance as it is clear that she is alive and active. Though this is classified information and only those of us in the room and a few students know about this. If she decides to do anything, she may go for the remaining Machinists and try to use them. It would be better and safer if we got to them before she did." Death looked over at Scarlet "Scarlet, you have some ties with the Arenas. If you may, I would like to request a temporary alliance with them as well."Death forward then "Any questions before I move on?" Ellise glanced at Naomi and seemed to know what her look was for. She severely disagreed with Queen being there though she had yet to say anything.
_________________________________________ Queenlooked at Kain and Charlotte "Im not under estimating them, Unlike you guys im not overestimating them...Im a strategist and anytime I overestimate things they go wrong so forgive me if my demeanor speaks of underestimating" she told them in a nuetral expression. she returned to Noira as she spoke with a smirk "perhaps you would have preferred i put a leash on him, maybe one of those spare leashes that inhibit his abilities that's always lieing around?" she asked smirking back, before her glance went to death when he asked about questions "Yea, I do, if your in need of assistance why didn't you go to the netherworld and get some help from them, Since you got demons and witches here, it wouldn't have even been an issue to recruit some more powerful beings rather than just those whom stay in the city" she stated sighing as she leaned back in her chair.

Kain looked towards Queen as she mentioned the Netherworld and bringing in others. "The demon and witches that are here, calls this place their home. They essentially have no ties to the Netherworld. Besides, those who dwell in the Netherworld, aren't interested in the affairs of the human world. As long as the Netherworld itself isn't in any danger, I doubt anyone would willingly come to our aid and fight someone like Atlas." Kain shifted his attention to Charlotte then. "Since you are a member of the Tribunal, I assume that this issue is of little importance to the others?" he asked.
"Oh ho? We're that desperate, are we?" Scarlet asked with a small smile as she heard Death request she use her Arena connections. "I dunno. I mean it's not like the Arena Master likes you or anything. What makes you think I can just stroll right up to him and say "Hey Mr. Arena Man, we've got like, a major problem so could you let us borrow some of your crazy powerful fighters to take care of it?" I mean, do you have any idea how stingy that man is?"
Naomi frowned and clenched her fists when she heard that Saint Clara was still alive. This was her first time hearing the news, but somehow she had known deep down. Even the destruction of her Headquarters wouldn't kill Saint Clara. She could start from scratch again. She didn't mind. In fact, that was probably half the fun for her. Not for the first time, Naomi cursed herself for not acknowledging what kind of person Saint Clara was and putting a stop to her when she had the chance. She had been willfully blind. And because of it Becky... she was snapped out of her thoughts as Death addressed her again. "Y-yes, you're right. Of course. I know some are gathering in and around the ruins, I can check there. Also, I will search for other survivors from the Inner Circle. They're all resourceful and I've no doubt others among them made it out of the Headquarters alive."
"Yeah, keep thinking you are strong enough to 'leash' a kishin like that," Noira told Queen with a more serious expression that time. "Speaking of leash, you have the first artifact right? You could probably call that thing here now. Whose to say Miss Queen here doesn't decide to royally screw us all and help Atlas and his group? You are putting quite a bit of trust on us, Death." Ellise sunk back slightly as Noira seemed to sum up her concerns for the time being. Meanwhile, Charlotte looked at Kain "The Tribunal and a majority of the Netherworld itself want nothing to do with this Atlas battle. According to them, if it doesn't affect them directly, they feel no need to assist... even though once Atlas takes out the human world, I am sure he will aim for the Netherworld next. With that, I am limited on what I can currently do and can only rely on those that act through the DMA which is a separate group than the Netherworld that I created for events like this." Death looked at Charlotte then the others "That is why we need whatever assistance we can get since the Netherworld doesn't seem to be interested in assisting." He looked over at Scarlet then "If Atlas truly does awaken, this world is pretty much finished. The intel that we received about the future we are facing says that. If that Arena Master wishes to sit back as that happens, so be it. Though in the process, people are going to die and therefore the Arenas are going to lose viewers and income... not only that but I am sure Atlas would come and try and start a revolt to gather more members with his group. You have many fighters that I am sure would love to cause trouble if given the opportunity. Atlas gaining power means the end to the Arenas, since that seems to be the most important thing for him,"he told her. Death looked at Naomi then and nodded "Thank you. I'll rely on you for that then."
_________________________________________ Queen sighed as noira kept going "look you made it quite clear, I can screw you all over of i so choose." she told Noira "But heres the deal...and im sure the devil's child understands, I am the only one here with Leverage on this situation...because i have the artifact" she stated smirking as she looked over to Ellise as she seemed to still glare but seemed to be quite, Queen was sure she already knew it was because she didn' want her here "So think of this...meeting, as a means to convince me to actually help, like trying to coax someone with the power to kill everyone to not kill everyone" she told her "and before any of you rebut that last statement, it was simply an example" she told them figuring either noira or ellise would come back with 'like you can kill everyone' in a sarcastic tone. "you don't have to like the situation, and i don't care if you don't, hell i don't care what happens to either of you, just don't bother me during any of this chaos...and you won't have me helping you fail on purpose"

Hearing Charlotte, Kain nodded, "I see. So, unless the Netherworld is actually under attack or threatened, we cannot rely on them at this time. I figured as much." he stated before sitting back in his chair and listening to the others. As more and more of the people there began to argue back in forth on the situation at hand, Kain and the other death scythes remained calm and quiet. Of course there was the occasional laugh or frown as Queen spoke, her words and attitude had a way of infuriating them. However, Kain eventually spoke up, "If you need convincing, then why are you even here? You, yourself, knows what will happen should Atlas obtain his powers. You've been connected to him from the very beginning, you know the destruction he will bring, not only to us, but to you as well. If you still need convincing, then I think you're not as wise as you claim to be. Either that, or your ego is just that massive." Kain stated before looking around. "Look, if you guys are only focusing on your petty fights or past grudges, instead of seeing the bigger picture and coming together for this very real threat, then I fear that this meeting was all for nothing. I'm not saying to forget and forgive, hell, even I can't do that, but what I am saying is that we need to put our differences aside just for this one moment and actually do something about this threat, before we let it get too far." With that said, Kain would sit back once more.
Scarlet shrugged, unperturbed by Death's warning. "I'll see what I can do," she replied. "Though The Arena Master isn't exactly hurting for money." She didn't seem to mind Kain's, Queen's and Noira's argument. It was interesting but she wasn't about to hop in. She didn't really have any grudges so none of this was a big deal to her. She was also confident she could avoid the worst of the damage if she needed to. She had her own realm and was perfectly happy to stay there if Atlas decided to wreck the world. Still, it would be inconvenient for her for so many potential customers to her casino to die and she knew her movement would be much restricted if Atlas ruled the world. She would rather fight now and test out a few of her abilities and plans against worthy opponents.
Naomi was listening to the fight as well but she was much more concerned about it. Unlike many of the people here she had nowhere to run if they lost control of the world to Atlas. It was one of the disadvantages of being a regular human. In fact, what would the humans do if they lost? They stood to suffer the brunt of the damage. Even though The Machinist Order was destroyed and even though its true purpose was clear to her now, she still believed in defending humans who were mostly powerless to protect themselves against beings such as Atlas. She hated to admit it, but deep down she knew that Saint Clara would be a major help in this situation. In fact, Saint Clara would love the opportunity to fight and kill someone like Atlas and she was almost literally built for it. Her charisma, cunning and strength would be a major help. Still, Naomi wasn't going to look for her. She didn't want to see her ever again. Though she accepted that one day it might come to that. But as for this world, it was completely foreign to her. She didn't know anything about how the inner politics of nonhumans worked. She would let Ellise handle this.
Noira was about to say something else to Queen though her gaze shifted to Kain as he spoke. Her expression turned serious once more. He was right, in the end. There was something way more important on the line. "Fine..." Ellise finally spoke then "I can be in charge of one of the units going to retrieve the artifacts," she offered. Death nodded "I was going to have Kain be in charge of the second then. We just need to decide who will be on those teams. I would like you both to choose your teams and report back to me once you have decided," he told them both. Charlotte leaned back in her seat "We also need to pick someone to lead the DMA team in my place..." she told Death who looked back at her "Once all of that is decided, we will begin putting everything into play immediately after."

After that she remained quiet, seeming everyone was asking to participate in getting the other artifacts. since she was the most un liked person there, she doubted she'd be going on any adventure with anyone, not that she really wanted to in the first place.

Hearing Queen, Kain would do nothing but sigh. To her, it seemed like this matter didn't even involve her. For someone who was the main cause of the predicament, she bore part of the blame and yet, to her, it wasn't her problem. As she pointed out that she could just as easily flee from the problem and be relatively safe, Kain had truly lost any and all hopes for trusting her. She was someone that he truly hated. Though for the sake of the mission, he would force himself to put up with her. As Lord Death then spoke about retrieving the other two artifacts, naming Kain, himself as the leader of one of the teams, Kain simply nodded. However, as Charlotte mentioned someone leading the DMA team, Kain would smirk, "Might I suggest Despair?" he asked, amusingly.
Scarlet continued to listen to Noira and Queen go back and forth. It was true that Queen had a way out if she so desired, but she didn't much seem like the running type to Scarlet. Not to mention, if Scarlet thought Queen was going to run, she could blow up the portal and leave her no other choice. Or more helpfully, perhaps find a way to turn it on and off at will. Actually, she'd probably have to look into that later. But right now they had more important things to worry about. As Death mentioned deciding who would search for the last artifacts, Scarlet raised her hand. 'Oh! Me! I love treasure hunts!" She replied with a grin.
Naomi would have offered to help look for the last treasure as well, but she had to find more Machinists to help out. She figured that would take up most of her time. She didn't know who Despair was but he didn't sound particularly friendly. Still, if he was an ally then he was an ally.
Charlotte didn't even look at Kain "That isn't even a funny joke much less an actual good idea," she told him, showing that she wasn't planning on making Despair the lead for the DMA. From her tone, she didn't seem to plan on changing her mind. Death glanced over at Scarlet "Kain and Ellise are now in charge of who goes on these missions. If you want to go, ask either of them," he stated. "While we are on a roll here, shouldn't we destroy the one artifact that is actually in one of our grasps?" Noira asked, gaze shifting to Queen then to Death. "Or, you know, confiscate it?" "Actually I have another question as well,"Ellise said. Though she didn't like Queen, she currently wasn't set on trying to make her the odd one out."Naomi and I have three visitors from the future that we are trying to prevent. They requested I bring this up to you. They may actually have some insight on how to get ahead of Atlas and beat him and his followers before they gain the upper hand. Though they may want to talk with you and Lady Charlotte later," Ellise said.
_________________________________________ Queen just looked at Noira "Yes let me just hand over my leverage right away, your mind works in brilliance" she stated in sarcasm. her eyes went to Ellise, she finally spoke up, though three visitors, whom from the future came back, it coldn't possibly be their older elves, they would have straight forward and showed up...the only other option was possibly those whom didn't have the biggest grasp on the situation to not come up first, that meant either they were children, or they were lying about helping, both didn't seem like the best choice for her. "why only them two...wouldn't it be beneficial to the entire endeavor if they talked to everyone involved with this 'defense' I understand if I'm not involved with that...since most think im jut trying to sabotage...but wouldn't it be wiser and safer to just have them speak in front of everyone" she told her "Expessially those whom have seen the horrors of the future, for all we know they may not be who they say"
