Lavender raised her hoof to her mouth and gave a little laugh, before ever so modestly brushing off the little filly's questions with a shake of her head. "Just a bit of conditioner, moisturizing formula. And here, this should assist in any more snafus"
From her stash of hair supplies, she produced a simple little barrette with a star glued to the end, something that seemed appropriate for a young phony of OoO's disposition, and used it to fasten up a bit of hair out of hoof snagging range.
"Remember, a dry mane tangles!"

Alas, the Pegasus was not a wizard, but she did know what she was talking about. "Moys...chur...eyes...ing?" That was a mouthful to say, but she was sure that Mommy could find something like that for little Out of Orbit!
Yet Lavender Lace continued to supply even more goodies! The little filly couldn't help but bounce a bit in place as the mare put the little ornament in Out of Orbit's hair. "Oh my stars, I LOVE IT!" she squealed (as best she could with her quiet voice). The little filly couldn't express her gratitude enough, as she soon enough began to chitter many a "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Lavender couldn't help but crack a little bit of a genuine smile at the filly's enthusiasm for a 20 cent plastic barrette clip.
"You are very welcome," She said, gathering up her things and preparing to make her departure. "I will see you around, Miss Orbit. And please, watch your step."
And with a playful wink for the filly, she was off.

Out of Orbit eventually broke out of her broken-record repetition of gratitude when Lavender Lace offered her departing words. It mostly had to do with the fact the mare called her a Miss Orbit. Only adults got such formal titles!
In a bit of momentary confidence and (assumed) maturity, the filly went off on her way, minding her step with a sort of confident canter. Her steps were slightly higher, as if she was truly taking her new friend's words to heart!
