Wild Green Stones plopped two sparkling polished stones in front of the pair - they shone almost like glass.

"This is to remember me by," he said, satisfied. "Wild Green Stones - like me."

Only mildly discouraged by his attempts thus far, Steam made his way to the next booth. This one he found to be accepting gifts as well - but he had only brought one with him! So it was off to scurry about and find something good to offer - or, at the very least, something moderately acceptable. No one said everything had to be great, right?

As long as it was okay?

After such a long, long time looking (probably ten minutes or more!), Steam finally found something he thought could be considered an acceptable gift. It was a pair of bright green feathers, tipped with crimson red. They were slightly ragged, but only near the ends - they'd still go great behind an ear or in a tail!

"Here you go!" he chirped, proudly, as he handed the gift over.

Optimist had found a lovely pastel crane feather, in a teal and red-orange, that she thought might be appreciated.

"Token please!" she chirped, holding it out. They'd better take this!

While wandering in the children's run, Sweet found a number of pretty feathers from some rather disgruntled crane who'd been startled by a set of naughty young foals. While he felt a bit bad that the kids had scared the bird - hey, free decorations, right? So he stuck a few of the pretty long things into the tip of his tail, tangling them in the strands until they held.

Later on his trek through the market, the buck saw a pair looking for ... gift trading? Well that was convenient, wasn't it? He just so happened to have a perfect gift - well, maybe not perfect, but at the very least mildly acceptable, right? He trotted up, pulling one of the long, pristine feathers from his tail and offering it with a broad grin.

"I'll share my find with you~"

Crushed wandered upon the market quite by accident; living alone and often having little contact with outsiders, she had no real way of knowing terribly much about a gathering of kin, large as it was. However, even if she was somewhat timid of the idea - what would she do around so many others?! - she found herself drawn to it nonetheless. She padded around for a time, simply examining booths and games, finding herself filled with wonder at each new thing.

When she learned of gifts, she felt her heart grow warm; what a lovely idea! Of course, she had not far to go - her own burrow of sorts wasn't too far from the market grounds, and it was a trivial task to trot back and acquire something to give. Her choice for this one was a bowl - specifically, a chunk of wood that she'd slowly, painstakingly hollowed and smoothed out with her hooves. She had several - though they took quite a bit of time to work down, it did give her something to keep them from getting overgrown, and it also gave her something ... almost meditative to do. It did require finding a hunk of wood in a decent shape to begin with - somewhat of an annoying task - but that made it a great gift, right?

It was wobbly and not terribly great for holding water, but it would hold food, at least. She was proud enough of it as she offered it, regardless!

Forced Awake had brought a leaf darkened to a pretty russet brown by autumn, but still strangely supple. "Here," he said.

It was glittering with frost, at the moment - although that was sure to melt away eventually.

We Break looked at the wares. He looked at the ground. He turned away...to go looking, because he didn't really have anything to offer. As anyone who knew him well might have expected, his choice was flowers - not because he was a wimp (he was not a wimp), but because they were easy to gather on short notice...and, all things aside, he did genuinely like snapdragons.

They were difficult to find blooming at this time of year, though - he settled for a leaf full of partially dried snapdragon seeds. "They have little strange faces," he said, offering the leaf to the buck. "I've always found them aesthetically appealing, and they resemble my own coat, so I consider them something of a trademark." The seeds cracked together almost ominously. We Break looked up, staring at the buck's head until he relented and gave the zikwa a token.

"Thanks," he said. "Let me know if you want more seeds. I know the best places to find them."

Water-in-the-Fire had remembered the trading booth on his way to the market for his second trip, surprisingly enough, and he made sure to spend a bit of time looking for something interesting to give. Unfortunately, he didn't really know the lay of the land well enough to find anything great, but that didn't mean he couldn't find something to offer, right? After all, he'd even found a lost millipede today - maybe he was pretty good at finding things, after all!

That in mind, he'd gone rooting with a new zeal. His find wasn't particularly... super interesting, though he liked it. It was an old bird's nest, long since forgotten - even most of the downy feathers inside of it having blown out or crumpled away. However, across the top of the nest was an old spider's web as well, making an interesting little art piece.

Or so he claimed as he offered it up!

We Break had stolen someone's paint - probably that trio of antlered does, come to speak of it. It wasn't like they were watching very closely, after all. With any luck, either the buck didn't care that skulls didn't really come in navy and red, or the buck thought it looked nice. It was...kind of nice. We Break was not the best artist, but he'd foraged a bird skull just for this, and had painted most of it navy blue, and dripped and splattered red paint over that to look like bloodstains. He used mud and honey to fasten a few extra feathers (cardinal red) onto the back of the skull, too - like a fascinator for the dead bird. "Look," he said, offering the buck - Seashell? - the bird skull. "I definitely found it like this."

He wasn't a try hard! But he kind of...liked...okay, he really did like this booth. It was interesting seeing what was going on here, and the acha doe was kind of pretty, to boot. "Do you ever trade anything other than tokens?" he asked, looking up at the kimeti. "We could talk. I like skulls. And snapdragons."

Playing at War brought the pelt in her mouth. It wasn't especially well-maintained - it was several months old, but it was a boar pelt, and it was clean enough that it could be displayed well. "I got this on a hunt," she said, neglecting to mention what she'd done with the rest of the boar - which is to say, she'd made a very inedible dish from it to present to that one kimeti tribe. It was a russet color and, okay, a little bit blood-stained. But boars were hard foes to fight - they just kept charging everywhere, and the tusks were huge.

"If you like it, I do have tusks where that came from," she grinned. "Or - hooves are a little weird, right?" Her laugh was ugly and loud. "But let me know. I usually keep these as trophies, not as trading fodder. But these tokens are surprisingly tempting." She shrugged. "Well, see you around!"

"Here," Low Tide said, with a broad grin on her face. "I brought you the tiniest icicles I've ever seen! They won't last, b-but they're pretty now, right?"

Okay is Wonderful had genuinely found this turtleshell like this. Well - there were plenty of colorful turtles in the swamp. But she'd never expected one to just abandon its shell.

"Will you take it?" she asked.

Mouse Hunter comes up to the pair at this booth, carrying a small turtle shell, it's making a soft rattle with each step. Carefully she sets it in front of the buck, giving him a wide grin as she looks from the contents of the shell to the buck's face, and back. "It's a collection of skulls and bones. Mostly from mice and rats, but there's a few other critters in there too. There's even a boar tusk in there. But I didn't hunt the boar, I just found the tusk. The rest, I hunted myself." she explains, all in one excited breath. He doesn't seem fully pleased though, so she continues. "I made sure they're all clean, I left them where wild beetles would strip any bits off I couldn't get. And then let them dry in the sun. There's a nearly full rat skeleton in there. The rest are just partials, but they're all clean. You can keep the shell too." she watches the buck examine it, wondering if she'd wasted her time bringing it here. But finally he grunts, passes the shell to the acha doe with him, and hands her over a token. Grinning, Mouse Hunter goes off to see the rest of the market.

Hit the Ground Running trots up to Seashell, a Shard of rock in his mouth. Dropping it, he looks at the buck and explains what it is. "I ran into a kiokote who wasn't all there, if you know what I mean. He gave me this, said I should keep it safe. He was babbling about monsters eating stars and he caught one. Broke the rock up so it couldn't escape. You can have it. I doubt it's got a monster in it, but it's pretty."

Roll: 100, 33 - Mudslide is shooed away

Skystain and her mother, Mudslide, approach the booth. Skystain shows the buck a stone she'd found ages ago. While she's doing that, Mudslide tries to get the Acha doe to trade. Seashell sees her, though, and shoos her away, absently giving Skystain a couple of tokens for her stone.
