"How do you carry a tune? It's music, silly, not a toy or a can of food!" That particularly brilliant statement made, he moved on to her proposal and laughed. "Oooh, I like that idea! I want to make the eggnog!" NovaCracker ((Nobody minds a little cat hair in the eggnog, right? 8D))

"Bean dip? That sounds gross," Brody complained, shaking his head. "Salsa! Salsa is spicy so it would warm you up in the cold, which people really need during the holidays! Oh, oh and uhm...... maybe celery sticks? Oh! And finger sandwiches! And candy - like fudge and chocolate-covered strawberries!"

"But it's made from beans!" Brody countered, making a face. "No, no, we need more sweets than anything, it's a holiday party and everyone should have something sweet on the holidays. Except I guess people who are watching their weight.... uhm, should we have a veggie tray too? And where will the party be? My human's home probably isn't big enough - what about yours? Is yours the best place? And can I see it? We need to know how many people can fit inside, after all! Oh oh- and a song list for what we'll be singing. I like God Rest ye meowy gentlemews!" C'mon I can bring you over, though the other cats might get a bit grumpy." A shrug, and she rose, beckoning with her tail. "Follow mr."

"A café?" Brody's mouth opened into a surprised, not-quite 'o' (after all, a cat's mouth just couldn't form the shape quite the same as a human's would!) "Oh, I want to see! I want to see! Are there any - any watermelon treats there?" If so, he might just have found his new home - sorry, Mama Alex. Watermelon trumped all, even during the holidays! "Let's go, friend! TO THE WATERMELONS .... erm. I mean TO YOUR PEOPLE'S HOME."
