Returning to the rolling rock booth, Beauty took a look at the larger, odder shaped rock she had to move this time around. Pushing it with her head would cause it to tilt and she might end up waking in circles, so she instead held a hoof out and pushed at it with her front leg, adjusting as she moved. However as she neared the end she, once more, hit a root and it instead spun, causing her to trip over it, though this time not falling as spectacularly as she had the day before.

6. A rather unwieldy long stone, roughly the size of your back leg. 4. So close! You were just about to succeed!

Obscure Truth wandered up to a long dirt track which was decorated with different objects. She thought it was very pretty, though she wasn't all that sure what it was for.
Upon further looking she noticed that there were stones of all sizes everywhere. The buck had said all she needed to do was pick a stone and roll it down the track.

Unfortunately for Obscure Truth she somehow managed to pick a boulder the size of herself. She looked around and wondered how she would do this. Slowly she reached out and pushed with all her might. It was like magic watching this giant boulder move so effortlessly. Somehow she had given it enough of a push to make it to the end.

"Well that was surprising.." she said calmly.

Sugar Star had gotten half of the pile across the line before a butterfly decided to flutter across her line of sight and distracted her. She pranced off after it, only coming back for her token when it circled back to the game again.

Morning Thaw enjoyed the energy of the booths, but this one seemed particularly lively. Apparently you just had to move rocks down a track. The owner gave her a stone - about the size of a hare. "All right! Shouldn't be hard."

The only issue was, Morning Thaw wasn't entirely sure how to move stones. Living in the desert meant that rocks, of any size, were rather scarce. It was difficult to get the little rock down the lane, but her struggles were completed at the end. "T-thank you for the game." She took the token happily, "I'll be back tomorrow!"

Roll: 4, 6 - A stone about the size of your chest. That'll take some shoving... && Hey, a good success! It wasn't as hard as it looked.

"Hello there cutie. I thought I'd come give your rocks another try." Sorrel says, waggling her eyebrows at the orange buck.

She grins as he points out her rock, another large one. Not so big as yesterday's, this should be easy. Leaning her shoulder into it, Sorrel rolls the stone along the course, stopping now and then to reposition and keep it on track.

Finished she trots back to Brother, not needing to hide her panting today, as she's hardly breathing heavy this time. "Not my favorite way to work up a sweat, but still a good bit of exercise, thank you." she says with a wink.

Smash and Mash reared up on her hind legs and bellowed. Now THIS was a booth for her! Physical strength was her greatest attribute! Well, that and her ability to yell VERY LOUD! She shoved the sandstone, rolling it along. Faster and faster she went, but her enthusiasm got the better of her. One super-strong headbutt and the sandstone crumbled. Still, she understood the point. She would come back tomorrow. She would!

Little pebbles was definitely better than rocks full of icky holes! She eyeballs it, not quite sure if she can manage to shove them all across, but she does! That was easier than she thought, and still much more preferrable to holes. She shivers at the thought of her last attempt and eyeballs the holey rocks from far away, glad they aren't anywhere near her. Yay for success this time!

After some time of checking out more booths, Kiss noticed a strange event. Rocks. Rocks of all shapes and sizes. What is this buck thinking? But alas, she also joined the other kin in a tiny challenge. He told her to move the pile of pebbles across the line. She looked to her left and noticed a massive boulder twice her size... Like who would have the strength to move THAT thing?

Focusing on her task again, the doe did what she thought felt right, with a bit of common sense seeping out of her body. Opening her mouth, she started to suck in all the tiny little pebbles into her mouth! One by one sometimes two or three at a time, they all rolled into the space her mouth could provide.

Quickly afterwards, she closed her mouth as much as she could, stopping the pebbles from falling out. The more she moved the more painful it got as both her cheeks swelled up like chipmunks with nuts in their mouths. It hurts. but she wanted to finish her task fast.

Kiss decided to run. She had to run. The pain was starting to make her mouth numb as she felt saliva slowly trickle between the tiny pebbles and down her chin. Running as fast as she could, she ran and ran until she was done. The pain was still there. Pebbles fell to the ground and the remainder was spat out along with big pools of saliva. Hopefully these pebbles won't get reused, she thought. Else that would be sort of gross...

When she walked back to the buck to tell him that she finished, she noticed something off about him. He seemed super excited. But what for? For her success? She was certain anyone would have done what she did... Right....? D:

Try had so much fun with the rock the day before, he decided he wanted to try again, except the rock given today seemed almost insulting! He sniffed it a moment and of all things he picked it up in his mouth and sucked on it a moment.

Well it had an interesting taste and texture. Satisfied he knew enough about his rock, he let it roll off his tongue to the ground and he nosed it carefully into position. Like the day before he circled it a few times before he was finally satisfied and gave it a kick.

Only to watch it clatter to a stop right beside Brother's hooves. "What!?" he stared in dismay at his pathetic attempt today. With a deep sigh he took the token with a thank you, and slunk away.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. "Hello again!" It was time to push a rock! Morning Thaw was determined to do better than she did before. The stone she was asked to push though was... Long. Long and thin and about the size of her back haunch. After a few struggling attempts, Morning Thaw gave up with a sad head shake, "I'm afraid I can't get it to budge at all..."

Thankfully, the owner didn't seem to mind and gave her a token regardless. Effort seem to always be rewarded at the booth! "Thank you."

looking at the collection of Pebbles set before her, Gentle Beauty frowned slightly in thought. She kept getting the larger rocks caught on a root near the end of the game, but these would just scatter and spill with a nudge of her nose or a push of her hooves She looked around and soon found a curved stick, which she used to help push the stones along, keeping them gathered around the middle of the curve as they rolled. Gentle moving it around the little hidden root, now gouged to the point from her previous attempts that it was a bit less hidden, she got the collection of pebbles across the line for her token

Roll: 5, 8 - A weird rock that's about the size of your full torso, but super dark and full of holes. && Amazing! Spectacular! You take your token, wondering if Brother is always so enthusiastic.

"Hello there, missed me?" Sorrel greets Brother, while waiting for her stone assignment of the day. Seeing the stone she grins, giving the buck's rump a playful thwap with her tail. "Are all your stones big?" she goes off chuckling.

This one isn't so large, but it is oddly shaped, due to the holes bored in it. She stops a moment to ponder what caused the holes, then proceeded to roll it across the track. She even rolls it right back, hardly breaking a sweat today. "Another rock lovingly tended for you. Hope you enjoyed it too." she smiles and winks at him, blowing a kiss his way before walking off to visit other booths.

Ah yes. "Hullo Brother." Blue Blood said, actually recalling this booth from last year. Rolling Stones had been a favorite.

Looking to the rock given to him, the buck began to roll- managing to keep the sandstone in one piece.

He was really the king at this.

Smash-and-Mash was almost insulted by the second stone. It was tiny! She heaved it easily down the field, but towards the end, her beloved frog Bash leaped from her head. "BASH!" she shouted, barreling after him. "Come back this instant! It is not safe! Get back on my head right now!" She left the booth, the rock abandoned. Her frog was more important.
