"Mmhmm." Kyril sneaked in behind the other youngling, "They had some colorful ones upstairs by the windows...and - and I think I saw a hidin' spot that had more things inside. A lady went in there before she came to clean our room." She whispered quietly.
Reaching out Kyril grabbed the other girl's hand, "This way..."

"Oooh, Oooh, yeah, we should go there." As excited as she was, Adenah made sure to keep her voice down and as quiet as possible. She took the other girl's hand and followed behind her, keeping a look out as best she could for anyone who would stop them.
Since her own room was on the first floor she didn't know what kind of room the other was talking about, but she could keep cover. So, when they got to the second floor, and the coast was clear, Adenah ushered her onward. "Go go, I'll keep watch."

Kyril crept around the corners with her little heart racing. It seemed to be clear so hopefully the lady was done for the day. Biting her bottom lip with nervousness, Kyril nodded as she was sent forward. "Okay."
Ever so carefully the little hybrid raced down the hallway before pushing herself against the wall. Still no one? Blinking, she gazed about before waving her friend down. Because right next to her was the knob - the knob to the room with all of the glorious cape like things.

Adenah looked down the hall, underneath doors, out windows and most importantly; down the stairs. So far so good. Everyone seemed more concerned with the good weather outside, which was good news for them!
She scampered after the other, pressing herself against the wall, just like the little finned girl was doing. Once more she looked around, even crouching to see into cracks she might not have been able to see before - before sitting up with a satisfied nod. They were in the clear!
So, when she couldn't stand the suspense anymore, Adenah opened the door they were next to and gasped. "There's so many!" She whispered. Some were brighter than others, and those were the ones she gravitated to. "Which would be best?"

Kyril grinned, "I knoooow!" The little girl reached up to grab a random curtain, "What about this one? It's all red to match you. Or, or this red one or ooooh this black one or this gold one." She held up as many as her little arms could hold, "I guess we'll have to try them all on quickly so we can see what fits you best!"

"Take them all! We'll make a bunch of capes!" Adenah punctuated her statement by digging her arms in as deep into the cloth pile as she could before bringing out a big wad of them. "They won't miss a few; they've got bunches."
Besides, they were going to a better home, which is what her momma always said was a good thing. She would make sure they were used every day, instead of stuffed up inside a little room like this. "Now come on, 'efore we get caught! Which ways your room? We'll go there first!"

"Yo-you sure?" Kyril's gaze widened in surprise. Wouldn't they miss them? Pursing her lips out thoughtfully the girl placed a couple back down before sneaking back out of the closet, "It's this way towards the right. Come on..."
That stated the little hybrid began to trail down the hallway with a flurry of cloth behind her.
