Li gave a nod of his head, "Yeah, nothing like snuggling up to someone else to keep warm when it's cold." He said as he hopped up onto the practice stage, twirling around once he was up there to get himself back into a state for dancing. As he did so he turned to look at Uli who was telling hm to 'go with his gut' which had him chuckling, "You've been around the inn so long and still have no favorite dances? I guess I will just have to practice harder so that I can actually impress you with my dancing one day."

There always were those that were harder to impress, but that was a good thing. It meant that he would use Uli when it came to a practice run for any new dances he came up with. As he started to dance he started of slowly, but went about trying to speed up in a gradual manner until it was another rapid sort of dance. If he could do something perfectly and at a high rate of speed then surely he'd be able to impress any audience. There was a lot about who and what Li was that would make things more difficult after all. There wouldn't be as many who would want to see him dance in place of his mother since Li was male. He knew this, meaning that he'd need to have immense skill to make up for his gender.

After a while dancing the really fast dance Li started to slow down, dancing while he did so, before sinking down to one knee in a fancy bow. After that he shifted himself so that he was sitting cross legged on the miny stage, lifting his hands to push his hair back, "Ahh... the down side to this sort of dance is me getting so sweaty. It's definitely something I will have to save for the end of an act only so as not to look unattractive." He said, not wanting for even a moment to look unseemly in front of the guests.

Lifting a hand he used it to fan himself as he looked over at Uli and said, "I do apologize for allowing you to see me in such a state. Friend or not I feel I should do my best to look good at all times as my mother does." What she was able to do, how she was able to appear, it was something that he needed to strive to emulate. Sliding off the stage he said, "I need to rinse off and change into something nicer. Want to tag along or should you return to your family?"

Li starred at his friend for a long moment before he reached a hand out, ruffling Uli's hair, before he said, "I suppose I understand, you do have a baby to take care of now." He wasn't sure if he should be jealous at the moment given the fact that his good friend had chosen a cat over him but he'd let it go for now. If he allowed himself to be jealous of a beast he wouldn't be able to face his mother who was envious of nothing. He had to be as strong and confident as her, especially in a moment like this.

Taking a step back from Uli he started toward where his room was located, "I will catch up with you later then, Uli. Good luck with your baby." He said, waving over his shoulder to his friend before disappearing into his room.
