Dex chuckled lightly, then winced as his braid was grabbed. "Both are tricky in their own ways," he murmured, bending to pick up the stuffed snaptrotter Kyril had been playing with before. "Here. Chew on this some more."

"I suppose so." Shadiya grinned as she watched their daughter playing with Dexurn's braid. Of course the next second though found the woman's attention fully on her rolling child, "Koril, no - no." She reached out to try and grab him, "Momma needs to clean you or that mess will be all over the floor." Her nose crinkled as she tried to keep her son on the table with one hand and roll up the dirty cloth with another. Now were was that other cloth for wiping?

"Dex...do you see the cleaning cloth? I uh...kinda am keeping rollie over here from trying to decorate our home with his personal paint."

Though it was a little difficult, Dex attempted to tuck his hair behind his ears once he was free. He bent to pick up the bushi next, tapping its head against Kyril's arm playfully.

He looked up at his name, and quickly hurried over. Holding Kyril firmly with one arm, he scrounged under the table with his free hand to seek out the needed cloth. Grabbing it, he dabbed it into the water to dampen it and held it up for Shade. "Here you go. Koril, sit still another minute, would you?"

"Thank you, love." Shadiya beamed at Dexurn before taking the cloth in her hands, "Yes, yes freedom will be soon." She couldn't help laughing at her baby's antics. What a flexible little one! Grinning, Shadiya could only hold her breath for a moment before working on cleaning the little one. When she was done the woman quickly dropped the cleaning cloth in a bucket next to her before getting a clean cloth to wrap around the baby's bottom.

Now how did she twist this thing again?

Pursing her lips in concentration Shadiya began to work on the ties...

Turning his attention back to Kyril, he noticed she was looking about for something else. More toys, perhaps? "What are you looking for?" he asked lightly, walking away from the changing table a little before setting the squirming toddler onto the floor.

"Kori - ri - ri" Sang Shadiya as she struggled with her child, "Just sit still for one moment, mommy promises it's worth it." Creasing her brow the woman reached over and tried to lift him so that she could place him on the wrap. Times like these make me wish I had a second pair of arms.

Noticing that Kyril was down on the floor Shadiya glanced over towards her lover, "I'm sorry...but Koril keeps squirming on me." She pouted towards her husband as she continued to try and work the cloth around her baby's waist, "But I think I may almost have it..." Narrowing her gaze she began to concentrate some more on the wrapping.

Chuckling as Kyril tried crawling around with both toys in hand, Dex looked over at the pleading voice and walked over. "Yup. This is only going to get harder," he mused, reaching to hold his son in place. His eyes kept switching between the two children as he took his post. After all, Kyril was free for the moment. He couldn't leave her completely unattended!
