As the arrow went flying passed him, far enough to the side that he didn't even flinch, Jolanta charged forward once more. She seemed to be staggering from the wounds that she'd taken from his sword meaning that she had been weakened! It was his chance to get in there and try to finish this battle up once and for all. If he was able to do so then he wouldn't have to worry about her again, would he? If he won she'd retreat and he would have protected his people in the way that he so desperately wanted to. He'd failed as far as protecting Priestess Fallon was concerned but he could at least drive her off before she could hurt anyone else!
This thought in mind he gave a battle cry as he took another swing at the pink skinned woman, eager to drive her off for good.

The pain from the last attack inflicted on her by the glowy eyed weirdo seemed to be the final straw for Ceylinae who was already made dizzy by the previous attacks. As much as she hated the idea to her very core she knew that she was going to have to retreat. The only solace that she took in the fact was that the one before her didn't look all that great himself. He was injured all over from her arrows, with one of them still buried in his arm. He wouldn't be recovering in short order so maybe she'd be able to retreat, recover, and take another shot at him?
A hopeful thought that filled her as she took aim at the Yaelian before her and started to back up slowly, never taking her eyes off of him. It was only after she'd put significant distance between the two of them that she released the arrow, giving herself covering fire as she retreated from the site of her first real battle. Once she put a lot of distance between herself and the swordsman she meant to sit down and tend to her wounds... but for the time being the thing that mattered most to her was that very important distance. She wouldn't be able to really relax until she knew she was far enough off that the glowy eyed weirdo couldn't follow.

Jolanta lifted his sword up as the woman before him notched an arrow, ready for her next attack... which seemed to be slow in coming as she was backing away from him now. He watched, a part of him wanting to following while the rest said to stay put. She was getting further and further away from him now, the distance between growing to the point that he wouldn't be able to catch up easily to take another shot at her now... and then an arrow was coming at him.
Taking a swing with his sword he was able to cut the arrow out of the air, taking no damage from it. Instantly though he realized that harming him wasn't the point of the shot as he looked up and then from side to side, realizing that the woman was no longer in sight. Instead she seemed to have disappeared into the forests of Yael. He could hear her retreating steps to a degree but soon enough the other sounds of the forest swallowed up those steps leaving him standing there along on the battlefield. It was there that he waited for some time, certain that she meant to circle around to take more shots at him... but much to his surprise that didn't happen.
Giving a little grown the Paladin turned on his heel and started back toward Pajore. He was going to need to see about getting himself patched up given his wounds. Despite how much they hurt though he had to admit his mood was actually a good one. He'd driven off the invader, protecting others from her dangerous arrows, and he'd done so all by himself. Now that he was alone and safe he found himself kind of wishing he had a healer for back up... but that aside he was still pleased with the results.
