Knowing that he only had water on the rag made her relax a little. Though she still didn't want to look at him.
She was set on giving him the silent treatment as well, until he spoke again. Then she had to let him know just what he had done to make her so mad.
"You stole from me." Her voice was cracking as she whispered.
"You took away my right as her sister." The young priestess still didn't look at Tacrith.
"Hers is the only face I remember from when I was little and I can't even give her her last rites." The hushed tones she ended on were still filled with agony. Only her pain wasn't physical. Sure, her shoulder ached but this was something deeper.
"One day I will but not today." And likely not the next either. It was petty of her to want to be so angry but she couldn't help it. After that she went quiet again still pouring tears.
