Jolanta gave a nod of his head, "Yeah, though I don't stay here. I come and go depending on who needs what of me." He explained to her, feeling that if she wasn't sure that he should let her know. That way she would know that he was there if she wanted him to do anything for her. He didn't lift his gaze, not daring to do so, as he continued, "If you ever need anything of me, Priestess, just call for me. My name is Jolanta and I am a paladin of the Sanctum, meant to serve those who live within its walls."

He didn't quite feel right at the moment given that it was the exact opposite with the Priestess tending to his wounds like this. It was his task to serve her but not the other way around. This felt really strange to him... but here was to hoping that she wouldn't think less of him because he was allowing her to aid him in this manner. Hopefully, when the time came, she would believe that he was someone worth confiding in and trusting in.

"How's it looking?" He asked as he didn't dare to look up at her, not wanting to risk looking at the wrong parts of a Priestess of all people.

For a moment she was jealous of him, as a priestess in training she wasn't allowed to leave the sanctum and she wondered what the outside world was like. How it had changed. Her village did it get any bigger? Would she recognize anyone there? She then realized that..even if she had stayed on the outside her life most likely would of been wrought with hardships and her family likely banished from the village. No..it was a good thing Carlden had come and taken her away.

As he gave her his name she felt a faint smile cross her face, all her years living here and she had little in the way of friends or acquaintances for that matter. She was often the subject of gossip and people avoided her gaze, well the acolytes her age anyway and younger.

"Ah..." She paused at his question her hand hovering as she realized she had been cleaning the same spot a few times. Though the wounds were still red at least they were clean now.

"I am finished and...thank you Jolanta..I don't have many people I can call on due to..my circumstances." She managed with sadness in her voice. Getting up she went to wring the towel out before going to poor the water from the bowl outside the window. It seemed as if dawn would be approaching soon, if they lingered too long together alone..someone may catch them and the last thing she wanted to do was cause Jolanta trouble.

Turning to face him she gave a sad smile, "I am sorry we have met like this..I wish it had been better circumstances...but its probably best if we...left separately. I don't want people to think poorly of you due to the company you keep."

Jolanta gave a nod of his head, lifting a hand to adjust his glasses as he said, "We can't always pick our moments, Priestess. No matter how we met though it won't change my opinion on you, nor will I refuse to serve you. My life belongs to the Sanctum and to those within, you included. If you need me you need only send word." He told her in what he hoped was a reassuring manner as he pushed up to his feet. While he didn't really think that he required the healing given to him he still appreciated the thought.

As she mentioned leaving on their own so that people wouldn't think poorly of the company he kept. It was something that he couldn't help but to feel a little confused over. Wasn't she a Priestess? Why would anyone think less of Jolanta for serving her as he would any other? It was a strange thought but regardless he said, "It's alright. I see no reason for you to worry over my reputation. I am more worried over your own, Priestess. If you wish to leave first I will wait here to give you adequate time to return to your quarters safely and find yourself back in bed."

That way she wouldn't have to worry about any strange rumors starting to swirl about the pair of them. He was just a servant of the Sanctum while she was a Priestess, not a pair of people that should be cavorting about if you asked him.

Saedah quietly observed Jolanta trying to figure out why he was being so kind to her. Most people treated her like she was fragile and at arms length. She gave him a warm smile, she was finally starting to feel warm inside though perhaps it was from this young man's consideration.

"You...are very kind Jolanta...but even my own attendants do not stick around me for long...I don't expect you too feel obligated to 'serve me' just because I am training to become a priestess." Saedah replied her tone sounding sad even if it was true.

She had lost her other attendant not too long ago, she had been young though and her nightly terrors and sleep walking had been too much for the girl to bare. "Still...if I am of need of anything... I will be sure to keep your name in mind." Though she wondered too how exactly she was going to sneak back into her room without her attendant noticing.

Perhaps if she was lucky they were still asleep.

Moving towards the door she took a quick peek outside to see if the corridor was empty. Looking as if it was safe she turned back to Jolanta before offering a quick gesture of good fortune.

"Thank you again." She murmured before she stepped out of the room and quickly padded back to her room.

Jolanta gave a polite bow of his head as she agreed to at least keeping his name in mind were she to find that she had need of him. He could only hope that it was something she would continue to do given that he had no plans to abandon her even if he did end up meeting her time and again in her 'possessed priestess' form.

"You're welcome, Priestess." He said, bowing his head to the woman once more before he followed her to the doorway. He leaned against the wall inside the room near to the door, arms crossing over his chest, while he waited for her to make her escape. He would give her time to make it back to her room before he headed off on his own. Allowing his eyes to close, one ear giving a twitch, he waited, counting the time. Once he felt enough had passed Jolanta too was on his way back home.
