She looked at him suspiciously. Very suspiciously. "Gifts don't come without price tags," she muttered. But still, she did not shove the bag back at him. Rummaging in her pocket, Preacher pulled out a scrap of paper. After a moment's scribbling, she shoved it at Zac.

"Text me about weird s**t n' stuff. Don't call," she said emphatically. "I don't got minutes." She wasn't so sure she would count him as a friend, but Zac wasn't all bad, she guessed.

“I’d worry more about questions.” He replied with a darkly serious tone in his voice.

He took the number, glancing at it and then replied. “I will make sure you hear about it.” He promised.
