 [Sparrow] "Oh! That's nice!" Sparrow was suddenly envious. "Well it's nice to meet you, Jaser, and..." she smiled sweetly at his sister, "Scarlet?" she guessed. "Why go, when you can stay here?" she offered pleasantly to the girl, "It won't be long before this table is more or less bare, so we should eat while we can!"  [Sally] Aww, that was cute. The kid had waved back! But he seemed so busy - everything was so lively around that part of the table, and she was looking for... Sally didn't know who she was looking for. Someone to talk to, maybe? Someone her age? She didn't know.

[Vale] Quickly grabbing at the plate as she was set down in Leukos' lap to eat, Vale shoved one of the larger items into her mouth, trying to eat it even though she was having some difficulty with it. After a couple seconds, she figured out how to break it into messy pieces and began eating handfuls of it while making quite the thorough mess. Not caring if she was making a mess of the costume, she moved her small feet from side to side as she ate, clearly pleased by the food.----------- [Anastasia] Taking in a breath as she continued to watch Melody, she closed her eyes for a moment, trying her best to connect to the local net wirelessly. Sliding to sit on the floor, the cyborg ghost seemed to be rather focused as she sent a quick message to Melody's phone, hoping that she would have it on her. 'uhmmm random question, are..you at the halloween ball in sanctuary?' she sent it quickly and opened her eyes, looking towards Melody then looking away again.----------- [Paige] Finding the food to not be quite up to par with what her aunt could make at the base, Paige stopped eating and looked around at the variety of people around the table. Spotting one woman with white skin, she was reminded of her big sister. Moving to get closer to her, she waved up at the white-skinned woman before taking out a small notebook and writing in it carefully, then handing the small note to the woman. "Hi! You're really pretty!"

 Estrian adjusted the mask he was given and chuckled looking at the rose at the end of the wand in faint confusion. "It is fine" he said trying to reassure the other meta as he looked around the party. Children costumes and children, likely a lot of orphans, it wasn't out of the question that the headmaster of Sanctuary would know something about kids shows especially if he had to calm any new child that was left here.
A group of children caught his eye as he was about to look past them when he spotted a star on one of their foreheads and he gave them a closer look. Shadow coloring...a Star.... Looking back he looked a little surprised. "Is that child...from the mutual friend?" he said glancing toward Jaser who was dealing with another girl similar to him and a muse who was talking to them. ------------------------- Mara looked over at Kae and shook her head, it was almost a waste for the elf to not dress up especially since she had those nifty illusion powers. True that no one would see them but it didn't stop her from dressing up as a dragon. "No...I thought we could set up some tea and crumpets.. of course Kae....really!" she laughed and hopped back by her. "Next person that walks past" she said as she summoned her shadow claws and extended it to the dressed up drone that she started to take out of the bag.

[Sparrow] Sparrow hoped that the 'other' children would stay with her. She didn't usually have popularity problems, and she was... technically... older than she appeared, but it was nice to hang out with metas 'her own age'. It would be nice, she felt, to have some friends. Friends were very useful, and it would be a way to help Shiro, when it came to that. "Huh?" she looked down at the note she was handed, then at the young meta that had handed it to her. Surprised, she opened the note and read it, her face coloring slightly. "Oh!" She folded it again, rubbing her cheek with her hand, "T-thank you!" Well, she was pretty, wasn't she? Obviously she'd be prettier when she got older, but still - she was pretty now. Her foster parents said as much and, now, so did this kid. She preened slightly. "Do you want to join us?" she asked, gesturing to encompass Jaser and Scarlet, who she hoped would stay. "My name's Sparrow, by the way! What's yours?"

[Headmaster Rhun] Rhun was keeping an eye on the party as he spoke with Estrian, enjoying his time talking with him. As Estrian asked about a child, he looked over to where he was looking. A small white skinned child with black and blue eyes and a gray star on their forehead. He frowned and nodded. "Yeah, he and the girl with black girl hugging him are her kids.They don't even know she exists I don't think." he sighed and looked to Estrian. "She left the next day after you did. I don't know where she went and Mirabelle hasn't heard from her. I'd call a contact but they were not happy with me the last time we talked and told me to never talk to them again." he explained and had a hit of pain in his eyes. "I wish I could have given her a reason to stay... And even then, she didn't believe me... and she didn't believe you'd come back. I just hope she's okay."-------------- [Leukos] Leukos finally broke his stern look to chuckle at Vale's eager attempts at eat it all. He moved to grab her a napkin and wiped up what he could for now and then began to break up the bigger items into smaller pieces for her to eat. "Is it good?" he asked with a faint smile.------------------- [Jaser] Jaser blinked up at Sparrow and then looked to Paige who had approached and handed the other girl a note. He looked away a bit embarassed. "I meant to let go of me... I can stay." he spoke quietly, avoiding eye contact as there were now more people than he had expected to deal with. He came to a stand, trying to shake off his sister with a slight annoyed glare. "Hello..." he greeted the colorful girl that hadn't spoken, staring at her galaxy hair moving and changing.------------------- [Melody] Melody was regretting being here, contemplating just leaving now even as she sighed. She could just pretend she was here and sneak back home to SIU and hide out in her room until the morning, no one would ever know. She pushed herself from the wall to leave, but then her phone vibrated and she blinked, unlocking it to check the message she was sent. Melody paused, looking up and around for a moment before looking back down to her phone. "I am.. I came here with Leukos and Vale... but I'm not really having fun. Probably going to go home at this rate." she wrote with a slight frown. "...why?"--------------------- [Kioko] Kioko frowned, looking over the refreshments table and not finding anything that she could have wanted. Sighing, she looked over to Paige and the other kids. She wanted to walk over to make more friends, but was finding a difficult time bringing herself to do it. Benoni encouraging her not to, she sighed, but then turned and smiled. That was okay, she'd find something to do, moving toward the kid's haunted house.--------------------- [Kae] Kae rolled her eyes at Mara's comment then gave a slight grin as she laughed. Nodding in confirmation as she kept her eyes scanned the road, able to see the fairly well in the dark. "Someone is coming." she announced quietly as a teenage angel was walking to the sanctuary alone. Kae snickered and started at the controls to make the drone fly. "This is going to be great.."

Estrian sighed at his words, looking toward toward the two kids (jasper and scarlet) with a sigh. He could see characteristics of both parents in the children after finally having met them. "We tried...but she was focused on leaving even when she had an egg " frowning faintly at a memory then sighing. "Why does that almost never work?" He muttered to himself.
"Well, I'm going to look around do..." he glanced around as if searching for something then looking back once he found it. "Want something to drink or eat as you watch for bad guys?" He laughed as he looked toward the wand then back. " I can grab it for you " he offered.---------- Mara snickered and leaned back as Kae expertly got the drone off the ground. Exactly, this was going to be great Andy to make it better than great she had already moved her Claws skill ability to the reaper carried by the drone. Ready to reach out and grab you muhahahahaha.
Mara held back a laugh grinning evily instead as she spotted the teenage angel making her way up the hill. "I hope she flies " she muttered gold eyes alight with mischief.

[Vale] Vale nodded and looked up at him, moving her legs a bit more, "Is very good!" she said happily, looking more excited to be having food that wasn't the usual fare at SIU.----------- [Anastasia] Slowly pushing herself up off the floor when she got the answer, Anastasia took in a deep breath and put her hands on her face, slapping her cheeks gently a little bit, telling herself that she can do this. Letting out the breath slowly, she closed her eyes, 'I'm here too..' she sent it before heading over to Melody, her hands at her side as she tried to not look nervous.
"U-uhm, Hi......I...uh.." she looked down and put her hands together, looking so incredibly nervous, "I-I'm Anastasia.."----------- [Paige] Paige nodded wide, soon scribbling down in her notebook again, moving a little bit as she wrote. "My name is Paige! I'm here with my sister and my Teacher" she happily handed the new note off, figuring that most of the people she had seen here couldn't read sign language. Though she was oblivious to the one staring at her hair, until she looked around to the others that Sparrow had gestured to. Looking to the twins, she smiled brightly and waved at them.

Scarlet clung tighter to her brothers arm at his protest, giggling. She followed up with teasing him,"You're so popular, brother, surrounded by so many pretty girls. You can't hide now." Waving at the other girls with her free hand she spoke excitedly, "Hi, hi, I'm Scarlet and this is my brother Jaser."

[Headmaster Rhun] Rhun frowned. "Maybe life sometimes throws you a curve ball like that. You expect one result and you get something else." he commented softly with a hint of pain in his voice. "She never wanted kids of her own... She was always content raising her sister and cousins when she grew up. But I at least would have thought she'd have stayed.... Knowing how her mother had abandoned her and her sister as a child." he looked down, regretting not staying there with her to make sure she stayed. He blinked as Estrian offered him a drink or to eat. "Oh, sure. I could use something to drink."-------------- [Leukos] "That's good. I'm glad you're liking it. Nothing like what Mara makes, right? he gave a light snort with a faint smile. "Maybe after this, we can dance a little?" he offered.------------------- [Jaser] Jaser blinked and blushed as Scarlet mentioned pretty girls. "Shut up, Scarlet!" he raised his voice slightly, getting frustrated. "Don't think I didn't notice you included yourself! Why are you always doing this!!" he yelled, shoving her off and stormed off as quickly as he could to go hide in the haunted house, hopefully she would be too scared to follow him in.------------------- [Melody] Melody stared at then next message, almost in disbelief. No way, she was there. She was actually there. Okay, Melody.. act cool. She was running her fingers through her hair nervously, as if about to meet a celebrity. She looked around before she finally saw a girl walk up to her and introduced herself. Melody began to smile brightly. "You're so pretty!..... I'm so excited to finally meet you in person instead just in the phone." she commented with a jovial tone. Truly having looked forward to this and the dread of being there was slowly fading. --------------------- [Kioko] Kioko was heading back out of the haunted house disappointed when she slammed into Jaser. "Oh, sorry!"--------------------- [Kae] Kae grinned and maneuvered the drive to fly at the Angel as she screamed and flew off crying. Mar was trying so hard not to laugh, covering her mouth, ready to fall over into her side in a fit of maniacal giggling. "That was great..." she commented, wiping a tear from her eye.

Estrian listened quietly just as he was posed to go, his brow furrowing a little as he shook his head. "Maybe she just didn't want to take care of them because of how they were called. She would be reminded of the person who erased her memories everytime she saw them. Not staying when they hatched would prevent her from being attached....I guess" he shook his head.
"Heavy stuff, I'm going to go get that drink " he said moving off to do so then coming back with two cookies, a cup of alcoholic beverage and a cup of soda. Saying nothing he held out the soda and one of the cookies out to Rhun with only a flicker of a smile under the mask.
-------- Mara was laughing as silently as she could but it was hard, sputtering into a fit of belly laughter then giggling as she felt she couldn't breath. So it was more luck than not that she spotted their next victim trudging up the hill. She couldn't tell what species it was but it was dressed up as Godzilla and she lightly kicked Kae. "Incoming..." she barely managed to breathed out as she moved to her feet gasping as she send her Claws to adorn the floating reaper, having them move and rub together as if in anticipation.

[Headmaster Rhun] "Maybe... " he muttered, not wanting to think too deeply on it, else he get angry or upset about it. He watched him shuffle off to get drinks and scanned eyes over the area to make sure everything was still safe. Looking back, he noticed Jaser was gone now but his sister remained. Peculiar. Once Estrian returned with drink, he took the soda and sipped at it. Curiously, he took up the cookie and began to eat at it. "So how do you like it here, so far?"------------------------------ [Kae] Kae was trying not to laugh as well as she felt the nudge and prepared the drone to fly in closer to the exiting Meta and chuckled as she sent the drone after them and the claws helped accentuated the scary look of it all. The Meta screamed and began to run, but Kae was pushing the drone toward them, chasing them back into the sanctuary as she laughed about it.

Estrian took a bit of the cookie then a sip of the drink and made a faint face at the combination as he put the cookie to the side and just focused on his drink instead. "It's quiet, very quiet. Different than what I have been use too." he replied honestly. "Makes me almost feel guilty being here" he said quietly as he took another sip with a frown then shook his head giving him a faint smile. "My own ghosts. In general I am pretty happy being here, very peaceful but I might still go stir crazy after a while. How about you? what do you do for fun when you're done working?" -------------------- Mara bite hard on her lower lip to keep from cracking up as she focused on moving the claws. Making them go to their max distance to claw the ground behind them until they were long out of range before she went right back to laughing as the Claws went back to deactivate mode. "This is great... I am glad I thought of this" she grinned evilly looking up to see if Kae would complain.

[Vale] The small girl nodded quite a bit, looking pretty excited to be having such a blast outside of the compound of SIU, more so with the food, but the thought of dancing also seemed delightful. "Yeah!" Vale said happily before clapping her hands together happily, her tiny little wings shaking a little bit.----------- [Anastasia] Anastasia could feel her face turning a soft shade of purple at her cheeks, her eyes looking away and down as she felt the embarrassment rising as she was called pretty, "I-i ah, thank you." she said quickly and quickly laced her own fingers together and looked down, quite clearly a little too embarrassed now. "A-ah.... Y-you're quite pretty too.." the ghost muttered, shyly looking up to glance at Melody's face.----------- [Paige] Paige turned to look at Jaser as he shouted, though as he ran off she frowned a little, soon following after him as her little fae wings fluttered behind her, intent on at least making one friend, and this boy seemed like he needed a friend.
