By the way, I have made the absence thread, and I'm cleaning up the main guild forum a bit, by locking threads that have been inactive for a while and moving them to the Archive. I'm leaving alone threads that have activity from the first of September 2016.

Be careful on how you judge the people here and by what cover of a book you assign them too for words are a powerful tool but peoples hearts are far more powerful when opened up and the truth inside shown, dont tread into darkness and place blame upon those here for not sharing in your moment of sorrow while you yourself are no better by condemning them, there is a time and place for everything and some probably just don't want to share.
But Before you turn to lash out at me and my words and seek, I will simply tell you this; "i care not for who you are, your level of influence or power in the guild or you're connection to Zancuno, there is no words to be said, no point to be proven, no fight to be had, no argument to be made and No Goodbyes to be had, if there was something for me to say here in the guild then it is said with in good reason and thought, just like now, other wise I speak to Zan directly and I know Zan wouldn't like having people fighting over him or for you to be lashing out at the guild and its members, picking fights in the process, so please don't start."

Ok and who the hell do you think you are? Look we all use Gaia for different reasons, not everybody has the free time to come online every single day, I struggle finding the time to even get onto a computer to do work let alone have free time on it these days. You seriously can't stereotype everyone in this guild as thoughtless and careless when you can't possibly know the agendas and ages of each individual within place. How dare you cast shame upon people you do not know... Life isn't all war heroes and pokemon, as Zan has sadly become evidence of...
Tsun. That's all fine and dandy and all but the answer to a busy life is an absence thread which I have seen many guilds create for those kinds of situations. Yes, I know full well not everyone has the kind of time to be on gaia. Here's the thing. Without an absence thread for them to go to, so they can inform others that hey, life just hit the fan, no one is going to know what happened to them. Do I know the people in this guild? No. Do they follow a generic pattern? Yes. There are still users who are practically online twentyfour seven who rely too heavily on "guild notifications" which not everyone recieves because they either screwed up their feed system or quite plain and simple no one bothered to fix the guilds like Zan has tried time and time again to get Gaia to do.
That is where they need to do the following (and it's very simple too): Step one. Hover their mouse cursor over the hotbar title: Forum. It will show a list of options, one of which is guilds. Step Two. Click on Guild. Step three, look for the guild they are in, and click on that one and go about looking into the guild's forum.
Dilrax. That what you said is all fine and all, but.....to be perfectly blunt I'm not you and I'm not Tsundere. I've seen a lot of s**t go on for the past six years in the guilds and in the forums. I don't buy into excuses that easily. Not anymore. There comes a point of: Yeah they really didn't know because they legitimately couldn't get online or yeah they did not know despite they were online all this time and didn't bother to manually check as they relied upon guild notifs that have been broken for god knows how long?
You two are more than welcome to keep going on this but I think you will find if you step back and look at both of our sides, remove all the harshness, and look at the points we both just made. You can derive some idea from this whole situation.
Absence Thread. Face it. This will be useful for the guild. More than you know. Every guild I joined had at LEAST one of these. It is in the main forum, stickied so people can get to it, quote the people they're involved with and cleanly inform others they won't be around for a while.
Instructions on how to manually check the guilds. Sadly this is more necessary than either of you may be willing to think at this point. This is something I learned on accident when following my Gaia Sempai back in 2010 in the first guild I ever joined. But apparently it would be best advised to have this in the rulesets for the roleplays and in the guild's own personal tutorial thread. I feel like we could use a tutorial thread in the rebuild. There's three ideas right there.
Well at least now we know you are like a pack of cards. What an interesting fellow.

How is that potion in the motion project coming along? Not sure I quite follow the gist of it.

It's rather empty considering NOBODY is online these days. It's quite concerning. I feel like its seriously just me and you >< wish I had of known about huffnutt too. Oh well, at least we now know that Zan is ok, which is good news.
The potion is motion I'm going to start paperfiling tonight; I am at college now on break. Basically just keeping track of hobbies, jobs, timezones of members (I'm not going to ask people for anything other than the timezone they are in because that kicks the cookie jar) if we at least know the time zones then people can at least try and work around their times for when people on the guild are online if that makes sense? You know so comparing time zones-

Please tell me if I am making an icing of sense?
Short summary: You are gathering info on timezones and mingling where you can. I live in EST, er....6:11am right now for me. We haven't done the fall back an hour year here in Ohio.
As for ideas for this guild....I MIGHT have an rp idea still. Just....gotta get it out of my head, onto notepad, reorganize the data, keep it as simple as possible before presenting it in this guild. Don't know if you read a post or two back but I did some cleanup on the main forum for this guild. Locked and archived threads that had no recent activity beyond sept 1 2016. Also archived any no longer in use announce and sticky threads. I put in that absence thread I brought up. I'll be editing it later when I come up with better wording for it.
As for the tutorial thread, debating on doing that just yet. Want to cover all the bases first on what it should cover so that new members can have a guide they can easily access without pulling their hair out. For the purpose of providing them with knowledge they can use to check up on this guild when the notifs aren't notifying them.
I haven't cleaned up the sub forums just yet. And by clean up, I am talking of locking the threads and moving to archive. Not deleting a thread if for some bizarre reason someone wishes to go back to that thread to look at how it was set up. If that makes any sense.

Surprisingly, it does make sense. And I can see where you are coming from. Thanks for the information. I'm arguing with google at the moment as to what timezone Britain is. xd when it decides which time zone Britain is in, I'll fill you in. I think it's GMT.... Going off the capital of London.... but eh. Google.
I'm off to lunch, my stomach is threatening to kill me again. *sigh* Let me know of anything I've missed though ok?

Google...pfft....I always argue with google a lot. You're probably six-seven hours ahead of me...five at the minimal....if it's already lunch time it must be around noon for you or was. You probably are GMT. You're welcome.
Edit: You're UTC 0. I'm UTC -4. I'm actually four hours behind you.....at the moment.

No problem. In all actuality...this is around when I go to bed, only to wake up around noon-2:30pm my time, to get ready for work at a grocery store. I work from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm. I guess you could say I'm more of a nocturnal creature.....

I shockingly can't sleep after 11 pm, I'm dancing and jumping until my parents scream Bed, which scares me, then spend three hours trying to sleep. My mind is most active at night, scary but true.
