It's not that I haven't enjoyed my experiences here or what we have accomplished but I feel like this place could be so much better.
We started out as a small guild and it was fun. I loved talking to each on of you on the chances I had. I was proud to run this place and also have fun with all who are here. Although even though we had these times I'm pretty sure the most of you felt something was off about the guild. One of those being the content of lucario based subjects. At first I was wanting to gather lucario and fans together in a place where we could all hang out, not knowing exactly what I had built. I gave in to people's complaints about this being a single minded "fanboy" guild and advertised this place to be for pokemon, smash, and lucario fans. I'm pretty sure that was rather confusing to all of you since in terms it could be hypocritical to what the guild is.
I have been letting the guild do as it pleases role play and chat wise, letting everyone build their own history in this place and I still have no objections.
Although I feel the quietness is mostly my fault.
You see I was advertising the guild in multiple forums, getting the word out there and well getting a considerable amount of hate as well. While this was happening, we got so many great members to join the guild and the guild was thriving, booming even. I was even being a bit creepy by searching everyone with lucario interests, name, or replies and inviting them to the guild. I was bringing in fresh content constantly. With that we also were able to hold events and giveaways that kept people coming. Although sadly the website Gaia Online is dying and our guild has taken a blow from that. Notifications are broken and many are finding no reason to stay here anymore. When I quit advertising this guild due to a promise to stop at 50 members, I had no idea what kind of impact it would have on the guild. I feel as such responsible for the lingering silence due to thus.
Although many of you are here for content, for fun, for role playing, and even for companionship. Much of this I have given but some I may have not.
I have fallen into darkness many times and left the most of you alone, not constantly talking to you. Sure I can't always expect to be the one talking to everyone or starting conversations but I'm not leaving anything for you guys to be inspired about.
You all came here for one reason, the sole purpose of being interested in this guild. A connection to the blue jackal we all like or love, lucario. Whether you are here being on of my friends or family or you are here to be with others like yourself.
I will say I have disappointed every one of you... So it's time... time for restructuring. I have left you all alone for far too long and kept the doors closed to meeting others. You all have liked the guild in your own ways. Although I know the many of you do not feel an addiction to this place, a reason to keep coming.....

well enough of my pity talk, lets get to business here.
So I have implored you all to visit at this time to discuss the future of this guild.
I may now speak of my plans.
What do I mean by re-structuring? A very good question to ask is said above that I will answer for you. Simply enough the guild is going to be put in maintenance again but in a different way than my past attempts. I plan to make the guild more lucario centered and give better content for you to all enjoy.
Although I can't do this alone guys. I have given people power by making them Crew or even Vice Captains. I have done this because I trust you to help manage the guild and make it a better place. I would ask of you to take the time to go to the Crew Editing subforum and help me devise the ideas for future events, role plays, etc.
Restructuring in this way isn't enough though as I will have to also make the guild accessible to all and even allow a wider audience to learn of our guild. That will be described in the next sized up question.
Although if I have to describe this restructuring in any given way, it would be one thing
To make more of this guild than what it is.
I keep mentioning the word "inspire" a lot don't I recently? That's because it's what I want to do. Instead of this being just a basic fan guild. I want to make it feel more like an organisation. Who knows, maybe make a name for ourselves on Gaia. In doing so we may even incorporate groups of talent and ranking of which you may all be a part of. I want to inspire you and hopefully I will.
What about a bigger audience?
Admit it, our guild is small. I have tried branching out the guild in different ways but have been going at it in the wrong way. I don't need things like Facebook pages, twitter hashtags, or even tumblr follows. None of that is a community, none of that is a group. So instead I need to make the guild branch off in ways where all of you can access it at any time.
"Where am I going with this?"
Well simply put I need to branch off the guild in a different way, a more "communicative" way. I need to branch off the guild to other sources of communication so that this place remains a community.
Sure I'm no wizard at making a website (I've tried) but I could branch this place to other places. Although for right now, I don't need to over-work myself and post this guild everywhere.
I plan to mostly branch the guild off to two possibilities.
Amino Apps (certain is highly possible) Amino is an app available to almost all phones as an app. Inside this app lies a large library of instagram style communities. Things like Pokemon Amino and even a Lucario Amino. Recently Amino apps has allowed people to create your own communities and with that instagram community for you to manage. I honestly like the content as it offers: forums, topics, and even chats. It has a large array of communication and a very friendly atmosphere. Best of all the app isn't a battery drainer and allows you to customize your notifications options. Honestly I would prefer it for a community, especially if you have a lot to share.
Facebook Groups or Other site (not sure) You might have to talk with me about this one since I don't find much success in Facebook Groups. If possible a Deviant Art group may be better.
Why make a new name?
Oh come on and admit it, The Lucario Guild Reborn doesn't just roll off the tongue Also to mention that other branch offs would leave people confused as to why it's named that.
So a new name huh? Why am I pressing for that so much? It's because the name we have shows exactly what we are right now, a fan gimmick. The fan group is only as active as the members make it. Although nothing shoots inspiring huh? There's that word again and I'm keeping to it. With a new name, one that doesn't seem casual but one of an actual group you can actually feel proud of. I want a name that all of you could say proudly. Hah XD call it a cult, nah just kidding. Although I do want something that you could remind yourself in the future that you was proud to be a part of.
So what's this new name????????

Seriously >.> I may have a timer on restructuring the guild as I may lose my home in a time. I need to know and discuss so I can at least get the mobile set up. If I lose my home, I will at least have mobile until my internet and home issues are sorted out.
Everyone, please check this thread daily since notifications are broken and you cannot solely rely on notifications. This thread is rather important and I would like to hear everyone's responses on this one.
I am usually lenient on posting but I need responses on this, not just readings and waiting. If you can, check the guild whenever you are online and be sure to visit this thread. The faster we get this done, the sooner I will stop attention grabbing at a constant rate.

Checking the damn guild is as EASY as one two and three. Whereever you are, simply HOVER on the forums tab of the hot bar, click where you see guilds, and click on this guild if it shows up in the move recent activity. If you own a s**t ton of guilds, click on any options it shows you to see the other guilds you are in. Then. You can click on view guild forum and CHECK. As clearly stated TIME AND TIME AGAIN. THE NOTIFS ARE ******** UP BEYOND REPAIR. THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CODING BEHIND IT CANNOT WORK ON IT OR DO NOT CARE AT ALL.
IT IS NOW YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY CHECK ON A THREAD OR GUILD YOU ARE IN.
Whilst I'm not good with naming... I can only figure a few.. like..
The Aura Guardians/Knights/Warriors/Explorers...
Path of the Aura -shrug- [it's based from my old guild's name, yep..]

Be careful on how you judge the people here and by what cover of a book you assign them too for words are a powerful tool but peoples hearts are far more powerful when opened up and the truth inside shown, dont tread into darkness and place blame upon those here for not sharing in your moment of sorrow while you yourself are no better by condemning them, there is a time and place for everything and some probably just don't want to share.

Yes, I know full well not everyone has the kind of time to be on gaia. Here's the thing. Without an absence thread for them to go to, so they can inform others that hey, life just hit the fan, no one is going to know what happened to them. Do I know the people in this guild? No. Do they follow a generic pattern? Yes. There are still users who are practically online twentyfour seven who rely too heavily on "guild notifications" which not everyone recieves because they either screwed up their feed system or quite plain and simple no one bothered to fix the guilds like Zan has tried time and time again to get Gaia to do.
That is where they need to do the following (and it's very simple too): Step one. Hover their mouse cursor over the hotbar title: Forum. It will show a list of options, one of which is guilds. Step Two. Click on Guild. Step three, look for the guild they are in, and click on that one and go about looking into the guild's forum.

I don't buy into excuses that easily. Not anymore. There comes a point of: Yeah they really didn't know because they legitimately couldn't get online or yeah they did not know despite they were online all this time and didn't bother to manually check as they relied upon guild notifs that have been broken for god knows how long?
You two are more than welcome to keep going on this but I think you will find if you step back and look at both of our sides, remove all the harshness, and look at the points we both just made. You can derive some idea from this whole situation.

you miss the point, this isnt a guild matter, it never was and there is no debate to be had about it, you quite literately called people heartless for not being around or speaking up and now want to cover up that face by turning it into a guild matter, 'there is no words to be said, no point to be proven, no fight to be had, no argument to be made and No Goodbyes to be had' as distressed as you might be about whats happened to zan, your not the only one but that still does not give you the right to lash out at people for not being apart of it, im not here to fight, im not here to argue so don't start ether one.
take a moment to go clear your mind and act rationally before you do something stupid and make yourself even more of a fool and negative force then you already appear, i speak with wisdom and concern for the sake of the guild and all of its remaining members, say or do what you like regarding my self but leave the others out of these outbursts of yours and back down from this mantle of pride of yours and think carefully and clearly after reflecting, until you do and understand the truth of my words and only then; shall we speak again.

Dilrax. This was never about pride. You completely missed the point yourself, at the line of I'm not you nor Tsun. This generally means I am not going to think as the way the two of you are going to think. If you want to sugar coat things, be my guess. I won't. This isn't about pride by the way. You're making an even bigger assumption by making that statement than you realize.
I was never here to be the nice cop. Zan has it wrong about my reasons for snapping by the way. I don't know if you have noticed this or not, but the many times Zan has reached out to the guild to get activity even to the point of using a forum system outside of the guild's forum knowing guild notifs.....were met with very little success. From this information I have derived two things. Either a lot of people quite literally cannot access gaia, or they just don't care.
But I digress.....seeing as you still continued on with this instead of dropping it and looking at the guild that needs to be restructured I'll be the one to end it here. Any further posts regarding my snapping and the two of you marking it as a "mantle of pride" will be deleted. As we have derailed the purpose of this thread. I had expected you to provide some ideas of your own on how to rebuild this guild. At least once by now. Just to get things back on track, for Zan. Alright? We got a guild to focus on.
