“Here come take Nasuri,” their daughter was still fussing but she was sure she’d settle soon enough in her crib. It would give Aseara some good time off and breathing room.
“You’re not alone in that thought,” she told Nuri as she watched him. “Now that I own the Red we have more than enough to provide for our little ones and more.” She was also certain his sister and mother would love helping around with their children once in a while. “They give me a good reason to step away and take a break from the Red from time to time.” And it also kept her husband at home.

Nuri turned away from the two boys, walking slowly back to his wife and taking Nasuri back into his arms. She fussed a bit, but calmed once he started rocking and pacing, something he remembered his mother doing back when Edathe was first born. It seemed that the girl would have something in common with her aunt.
Taking another deep breath, he looked back to Aseara for a long moment.
"If after these three have grown to a manageable age, and you are still open to the idea, I am as well. But for now, I think we should focus on them. There's more than enough time for us to have more children..." he finally responded, before adding, "I want you to be happy, and to help your dreams come true. If a house full of children is one of your dreams, I will do what I can to fulfill it..."

Aseara smiled. This was why she loved Nuri, in her eyes he was perfect.
“I don’t mind waiting then as long as you’re not closed off to the idea.” Surely they couldn’t have triplets again. Not that she would say no to three other little ones, but maybe one… Maybe two? She was okay with.
“The other children will be easier since we’ll have a lot more experience then.” Sure they’d been thrown to the fire with triplets, the learning curve would be steep but after that it would be smooth sailing for them. “As long as you’re happy, I am happy.” But really, as husband and wife they fed each other’s happiness.

[ He smiled when she seemed satisfied with his compromise, although later he'd probably realize he gave her what she wanted. As he rocked his little girl in his arms, she seemed to snuggle up and begin to fall asleep, the first silence since the three decided to join this world.
She was right, if they could take on three, more would be no problem. The next few years would be a struggle, but eventually they would be ready for more. And when that time came, he would do whatever he could to make sure his family was happy (and probably require the triples to help just as he did so long ago).
"Then let's worry about that when we are ready. For now, we've got three to take care of. When we are ready, I'm sure the gods will bless us with more..." He smiled, and leaned down to plant a kiss on her lips before turning and trying to identify a place to settle his daughter for the night. He was sure Aseara needed her rest, and the stress of the past day was enough to make him want some of his own as well.
Soon enough, they'd do it all again, but for now he was ready to just fall asleep with his family.

“Yes enough worrying on such a nice day.” Aseara settled into her bed, without kids in her arms she felt so much lighter. She fixed up her pillow before watching Nuri with a fading smile, sleep was creeping in on her and she could fee her eye lids slowly closing. She sighed softly in content, before finally relenting and shutting her eyes. Later she would have more kids. She was excited for these three but she was also excited for more. For now though she was happy to raise these three and see who they later become. Would they take after Nuri or herself? Only time would tell.
