She chuckled and nodded her head as a grin spread across her lips. "Yes, I have a ways to go." And she was in no hurry either. Phae wanted to enjoy the moments leading up to motherhood. "This is my first and likely only." There was a small laugh at the end as she thought about Bushi and his reaction. She wouldn't want to put him through that again. If only because the poor man was so worried.

"Of course!" The leafling took Aseara's hand excitedly. "Oh, thank you for this. Not many people around here will hire a leaf tribe member." And that had been her main issue followed closely by her condition.

She followed Aseara and smiled at the others as they passed. Once they were in the small room that had been appointed for the small gathering she looked around at everyone. Phaedra's cheeks warmed a little when the beautiful blonde started to speak to the group as a whole and introduce her as the new chef. The color deepened when Aseara pushed her forward. "Uh oh.. Hello everyone. I'm Phaedra." The brunette felt so awkward.

"Hopefully I can be a good cook for you all." The guests included.

As the other woman came to her rescue she looked back at her and muttered a small thank you. Phaedra wasn't so good at meeting with crowds. After all, the last time she had things hadn't gone so well. As the others welcomed her she smiled at them and said the proper thank yous to them as well. With a deep breath she looked at Aseara. "Sorry, I'm not used to talking to so many people at once."

She cleared her throat a bit and nodded as the mention of the contract being done came up. "We can get to that in the morning. I don't think my boyfriend will let me sleep anywhere out of his sight." It was a tease toward Bushi but she didn't want to sleep away from him either.
