The shock that her brother showed over her kissing Ergon was enough to make her pretend that the snow on the ground was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen. Riya peeked at Uli only to see him staring at her with a slack jaw. "Y-yes.." She answered slowly. Honestly she wasn't so sure she wanted to admit that right now. Her brother looked as though the world was going to end.
With Valek excusing himself she gave him a look that said "take me with you." Of course he simply waved and jogged away. Iriyana might have the remnants of a black eye and a busted blood vessel in her eye but she could see that Ergon was avoiding her. So she gave a groan and moved away from him and her twin. Of course that meant she would ignore his question about lunch since she was walking ahead of them both.

Hulis noticed that Ergon put the smaller male as a sheild against his sister, while his sister sulked away. Rolling his eyes he grabbed Ergon's hand to pull the bigger male behind him as he caught up to his sister. "Riya!! Mom said we don't wander alone!!! Mostly because I get lost easy, but partly because your hurt..." He nodded at Polaris who was beside the group the whole time. The pure white beast blended in waaay too well with their current terrain. He smiled at Ergon. "Sorry about embarrassing you two though...Riya's the first one of the two of us who gave away their first kiss." he giggled finding glee in teasing the pair a little more.

Ergon stiffened as his hand was grabbed, surprised by the "bold" move. Though, maybe he shouldn't have been? He looked ahead to see where Riya was, eyes flicking along her figure before they focused down hard at the tracks in the snow until they caught up.
He did a double take when the snow began to move, belatedly realizing there was a creature there. Wow! He nearly asked about Polaris, but his cheeks heated up anew, eyes widening and looking over at Riya. That... had been her first kiss?! Really?! His eyes dropped back down quickly though. "It.. was mine.. too," he murmured under his breath, speaking out loud without really intending for it to be heard.

She had slowed down when Hulis mentioned that he got lost easily. Riya knew it to be true and since she didn't want him to end up hurt like she had been she stayed close to him, though she remained ahead of her brother and Ergon. When she heard him mention that her kiss with the other ice boy had been her first she could swear that her blush had extended down to her neck and possibly her chest. Was Uli trying to make her turn entirely purple? "Uli.." She groaned.
The added comment from Ergon made her close her eyes. Yeah, the two of them were trying to make her turn a completely different color! Of course in closing her eyes she failed to clear a rock that was in her path and ended up tripping over it. With a squeak she went down, her natural reaction to put her hands out to brace herself ending with her giving a yelp of pain. Riya had jarred her ribs upon landing but more than that she could swear the world was out to embarrass the crap outta her.

"Oh you two are just being adorable now..." Uli said with a giggle at the expense of the other two. Usually he was the one blushing purple. It was sorta fun to see his sister squirming. Uli let go of Ergon when he saw his sister tumble. The youth made to rush forward to catch her. Polaris meanwhile had jumped back in shock at the quick speed of the smaller ice male.

With his eyes firmly anywhere but the twins, Ergon pondered on the new knowledge. Their first kisses had been with each other... After trying to maim each other, she had given, and he'd had taken, something that many considered precious.
Adorable?! His head ducked slightly between his shoulders, wondering how this had happened. He heard the squeak of surprise ahead and looked forward in a belated response. He jumped forward after Hulis, but stopped short with his arms extended toward the fallen girl. Surely she would just snap at him again... He looked between the twins, unable to help bending to offer his arm despite the possibility of snapping. "Here. Let us help you up."

Riya accepted help from both of them and once she was on her feet again she mumbled a thank you. Was this how Hulis felt when it was him, Li, and her? If so then she would ease up on teasing him. Clearly he now had a way to get back at her. Though as she stood there, staring at the snow, she seemed to recall something. It was enough to make her reach up and rub at her upper arms where the bruises had been. Her gaze met Ergon's for a moment then her brothers and she gave him a pondering look. "He was a Zenan.." Riya rubbed at her arms again then turned away from the pair.
Her small revelation wasn't going to help them figure out who had done it but it was something for her. She was remembering slowly. Too slowly. "He said something.." But what? She was muttering to herself for a moment longer before she realized she'd ignored the other two. Turning back to them she tried to smile. "Sorry.. I just.. I thought I remembered something."

Uli blinked at his sister. "Your attacker." it was a statement then he turned to Ergon. "The reason she's hurt...Riya took a tumble off a small cliff. Our Uncle found her...but there's no witnesses to who or what attacked her..." as he explained the youth allowed Ergon to take most of his sisters weight as he rumanged in his bag. "There's a fruit in here that Riya likes...aha!" he took it out and gave it to his sister. "Here you are." he smiled brightly before glancing to Ergon. "We're nearly to the food stall, Mom said they sell a whole host of things. Are you more of a meat person or a veggie person?" he asked.

Ergon frowned curiously, looking between the pair. Zenan...? Attacker! Jaw tensing, he turned his gaze away. A Zenan would do that to one of their own... It was hard to believe. Yet, at the same time, he knew plenty of Zenan's with more pride than sense.
"Don't be sorry, Riya. That's an important thing to remember!"
Looking over at Hulis, it took a moment for him to get back on track. "I.. as long as it's good quality, I'll eat it. I try to make both for dinner."

When her brother handed her the fruit she eyed it then looked at him. Did she really want to know why he had one of her favorite foods in his bag? No, probably not. Still Riya shook her head slightly. "No, I'm sorry I shouldn't have blurted that out. It's just.. I sorta remembered him grabbing my arm when you caught me. He said something too but.." Pressing her lips together she stared at the fruit in her hand. Why couldn't she recall what he said? Or even what his voice sounded like?
The subject turning to food made her look at Ergon. So he ate anything? "Uhm.. do you have a favorite food?" Riya hoped that he would think she was asking simply because they were going for food and not because she wanted to know what he liked more.

Uli fell a tad silent, taking a small step back. Allowing Ergon to fully support his sister as he glanced up to Polaris. With a smile the youth scratched behind the beasts ear as they walked. He would stay quiet, allowing his sister and the new male to talk. He noticed that his sister was rather interested in the male. Wishing only the best for her. He decided to just watch.

Ergon flinched slightly, glancing at Riya's arm. Well... at least it hadn't hurt her? "A favorite..?" he wondered out loud, his free hand lifting to scratch his jaw as he gave the question serious thought. "I guess, if anything.. the tavern has a special dish that's only available in the summer and fall season, when the cave flowers are blooming. It's baked roati with the cave flowers lightly cooked." He looked up at the sky with a small sigh. "They might have some petals left drying in the cellar for over the winter, but the fresh season is probably over by now."
After a moment, he looked bashfully away from the pair. "Well, what about you two? Do you have favorite meals?"

She noticed how her brother seemed to step back from the conversation and she gave him a look. Riya didn't want him to do that. He was the only thing not making being near Ergon so awkward at the moment. Still, she listened to the ice male as he mentioned his favorite food. Since she had so far grown up mostly in Sauti she'd not had the meal mentioned. "Oh, I've never had it." Maybe she could ask her mother if they could get some? Her eyes went toward Hulis to see if he had had it before. Riya didn't think so since they were always together, well.. most of the time.
"Huh? Uh.. I like sweet things." She held up the fruit in her hand to show him an example of what she liked. "And smoked Fenk. It's a fish from Sauti."

There was a soft little chuckle behind the duo as Uli saw his sisters look. The youth spoke out. "Sweet things are a shared like, Ergon."

Ergon nodded lightly. "When the season comes back around- ..you two should try finding it." He'd actually been about to say that he would take them for the meals, but that would be weird... Right?
"Fenk?" A fish from Sauti.. Not that fish was allowed in the house anymore. "I don't believe I've had that before. I have been to Sauti a couple times with my father, but we usually take our own food along. ...I can't say I get many sweet foods, though I enjoy them from time to time."
