There were parts of Denebola that were embarrassed about her lack of knowledge when it came to the senshi technology. She did her best not to show it, or to let Liryn, who was the first cat she'd been around who cared enough to show her anything, know that she was uncomfortable about this fact.
She'd been in the game long enough that she felt as if she should have known all of this.
How the hell would she be able to guide the newly awakened when she had so little information at her fingers?
If anything, this whole thing made the super senshi resolve to be more proactive when it came to recon. She was going to do better and equip herself with knowledge. She couldn't rely on her impulses to get her by anymore.
She wasn't the child she'd been when she'd first awakened.
"You know," she said slowly, already moving to crouch as she held her phone out for the cat. "I would appreciate all of that."

It would have been easier to do the showing with hands, would have been much easier in fact, but Liryn knew that shifting to the other form would have meant a subsequent increase in his aura from barely there to very much noticeable–
Besides, it wasn't as if he'd always been able to do the shift into the other form and whilst fiddling with paws was kind of tricky, it hadn't stopped him from managing.
Liryn took the phone carefully from Denebola, before going over the mechanics of scanning other senshi or (as in his case) mauvians with a communication making sure to go over it point by point, before asking cheerfully "Do you have any questions for me?" Because he wanted to make sure that he hadn't missed something in the telling.
