Aysun gave a little nod as she mentioned the Janarim that she'd met. He turned to Maw, giving him a long look, before he gave a half smile, "They are at times... foolishly loyal. I found Maw with his former rider... the man had long since passed but Maw refused to leave him behind. He was ready to starve to death if he had to. It took a lot of work on my part but I was able to finally get him to come with me after I buried the man." He said, giving Maw a hug and then a scratch under the chin, ever impressed by the janarim and the lengths he was willing to go to stay with his former rider.

Turning to look over at Rajani as she suddenly started to stutter he said, "I will admit it doesn't feel good, getting bitten or scratched, but it's part of the taming process." He said, assuming that was what was holding her back. She was a girl after all and they cared about their looks in a different manner then guys. Lifting a hand to pat it against his scarred up shoulder he said, "They heal with time and end up looking pretty cool... though maybe that is only for guys?"

Aysun gave a thoughtful sound, then after a moent he said, "I swear I've only ever met or heard about one Oban that wasn't a complete waste of space... and that was only because the guy got a blow to the head and got amnesia." He shook his head at the thought, not caring for the Fire Tribe in the least bit. He really was glad that he hadn't really run into any of them save for the amnesiac Nkole some time back. It was best that way if only because he found the group to be intimidating and unsavory at best.

"If we were to go hunting for janarim though it's not as though you'd have to worry. I'd be there, so would Maw, Sunshine, and maybe Sinnika as well." He said wanting to reassure her that they wouldn't be a danger. If one of them showed up he'd get his weapon out and deal with them. While that wasn't they way he wanted to spend an afternoon he would still do so if it was called for. After giving a little grumble, one that Maw echoed, he said, "I am not Elsif. I am not some coward that would let a sibling be taken." He'd die first.

Aysun gave a slow nod, "Gotcha." Alright, he'd just assumed that it was a girl thing, that she didn't want to tame a janarim because she didn't want to risk getting any scars on her person. It seemed as though it didn't bother her though, which was a good thing. It meant that she wouldn't be too upset if she did get a bit banged up which was just a natural thing to happen when one was trying to catch something much bigger then themselves. It seemed that it was something else that kept her rooted though, which he was willing to help ward off.

"Hmm... well, we might need to cross the border a little ways in, but really if we skirt along it we should see some younger ones that are trying to snap up unsuspecting rodents." He gave her a smile and said, "When we decide to go we won't cross until we actually see one and only long enough to catch it for you... though you might want to procure yourself a weapon first."

He gave the knife a once over, humming to himself, before he gave a nod of his head, "It might work." While bringing a knife to a janarim fight under normal circumstances might not work out what they planned to do wasn't exactly normal. They were going to be hunting for juveniles after all. That was something that would hopefully make things a little easier on Rajani. Giving a nod of his he said, "Then I will go on a few scouting missions on Sunshine, we will get a feel for where the janarim are located, and we can plan a trip down to try to catch one soon." Best that he got a lay of the land, figured out the comings and goings of the beasts. He wanted to be prepared after all so that they would spend the least amount of time possible in Oba so that Rajani wouldn't have to deal with the place.

Giving a grin he nodded his head, "Alright, having yet another set of eyes guarding my back while we are in Oba sounds good." He gave her a nod before he said, "I need to get this load of wood back home. Will you be heading back to Sol then? I'd like to know where to find you when I am done with my scouting."

Aysun gave a nod of his head, "If I see my father I will let him know." And if he happened to run across 'Elsif' he'd do his best to keep from punching the guy. It would be a difficult thing to resist but he'd do his best since he didn't want to do anything that might bother Rajani. Giving her a smile he said, "I will let you know when everything is prepared and we can head to Oba. It will be fun I think." It had been some time since he'd considered getting another pet, with the last one he got being Volos. While it wasn't as though he was getting a janarim for himself it was still fun to think about going out to find a janarim pup.

As she mentioned Elsif possibly seeing her he said, "If he bothers you let me or my father know, we will deal with the guy." He said, feeling that urge for moments ago to punch the one called Elsif rising up in him again. It was something he again tried to shake off. No, no... that wasn't what he should focus on. He should focus on obtaining a pup for Rajani. It would be her companion, friend, protector, and eventually it would carry her around as well. It would be good for her, especially if her brother was a possible threat since it would be able to bite the guy. No matter how big her future janarim might be when they found it but it would definitely have sharp teeth and claws which would protect Rajani.

As she mentioned treats Maw seemed to perk up, looking quite pleased by the offer. It was something that had Aysun laughing as he climbed up onto Maw's back, "Treats come later, buddy. For now we need to get the wood home." Something that made Maw grumble if only because he wanted treats now but knowing that there were some in his future at least made him eager to get the work done.

Aysun gave a nod of his head, "Alright you be safe, Rajani." He said, giving her a smile and a nod before he gave a little whistle. The sound drew the attention of Sunshine who looked his way before she opened her wings, giving them a flap before she launched herself up into the air. He watched her as she started to circle before he turned to look at Rajani, giving her a little wave, before he said, "I will see you again soon."

With that Aysun gave Maw a nudge and the big janarim started forward, dragging the wood that he had tied to his saddle. Aysun glanced over his shoulder a couple of times to check on on Rajani until she was no longer within his sight. Once he couldn't see her anymore he nudged Maw again, "Alright, let's get going. Time to get home and drop off this load of wood." Then Maw could get something to eat, something to drink, and a nice rest after all the hard work he'd put in today.
