"I'm very sorry to hear that. Perhaps your uncle will visit willingly. No need for dragging. But if it does come to dragging I can give you some of the extra rope I have," he smiled, trying his best to be helpful. The walk to the village did seem endless, with Barihn changing his direction ever so slightly now and again. To most it would seem like he was leading them astray, but the odd focus he had on their direction might say otherwise.

Well he supposed it was possible that his uncle would come willingly. Not that Shea was really counting on that. But when the boy offered him some spare rope he grinned. "Rope would be useful." There was a nod of his head as he spoke, though Barihn couldn't see it. As they walked in seemingly no particular direction Shea was starting to think the boy was lost or something.

"I have rope!" Barihn stopped his walk to dig around in his pack, pulling out all sorts of odds and ends until a long rope came tumbling out of it. It was of sturdy material even if worn, and was a very hefty weight. He passed it on over to Shea, grinning like a dork the entire time.
"Ropes are the best. Lots of handy uses."

When they stopped Shea arched a brow at him only to watch as Barihn pulled things out of his bag. Until the rope fell out. Well there was something. Shea took it and nodded, not wanting to ask what kinds of uses he thought rope was good for. "Thanks." Well, at least he now had a way to drag his uncle back home.

"That should at least help something. One way or another there is always a use for it. Now then, the village is a little bit farther ahead. I can get you to the outskirts before having to turn back, or I can leave you here and you can head in safely alone. That would be up to you," Barihn explained, becoming more serious for the first time since he'd interacted with the other boy.
"I uh....it wouldn't be safe if I went with you all the way into the village."

That was true. Rope had many uses. Though as to which ones this boy used it for, Shea didn't want to know. When he mentioned where the village was he nodded his head at him. Well that was simple. "Yeah, you mentioned that earlier. I think I got it from here, Barihn. Thanks." As long as he had a direction to walk in he was good. So he gave a wave and started walking. At least he could say he had met someone a little interesting along the way. A bit airheaded maybe, but interesting.
